I pruned mine back earlier and quite a bit further down as I had been scared to prune too far down and the plants had grown too big. Last year was a great success, because the bushes had time to put out a bit of new growth before the weather turned. They filled in to make lovely full plants, and the sunlight got to the base of the plants and new growth sprouted(!) to fill in each plant. They are quite resilient as it turns out.👍🏻
Thanks Mark for the great advice. When pruning my saliva hotlips should I follow the same procedure. Thank you. It's very woody have not been pruning it. It's 3 years old.
@@MarksHouseandGardenUK Thanks Mark for your reply. Looking forward to your great advice. Will be very interesting to see on your playlist nexted year. 👍👍
I E just bought lavender this year, do I just cut off flowers or do a full prune this year, I’ve been told if I leave it to grow to the size I want then prune it will get too woody?

What's behind the lavender? (Not the olice trees)
Right at the back the big green shrub is rosemary. Mark
