At another site, similar to Temu, I ordered a pretty blue and white throw rug... and it would be generous to say it was a mug rug... shocked, but worth the laugh for the family!😂

Thank you for posting your experience with buying yarn on Temu. So far I have ordered building block sets from Loz (coming in the original packaging) which are also sold in Germany so I knew the quality already. In my last order I took a chance and ordered the 6 ball cashmere yarn set and it also came with the 50 balls and the same amount of small bobbings in almost the exact same color. I think the description of that yarn mentioned that both the balls and the bobbins were 300 meters and I am currently working up a triangle shawl in the virus pattern using a 4mm crochet hook and holding both strands (from the ball and bobbin) together. I really like how soft the yarn is and the drape is also beautiful. The only critique I have is that the color I ordered looked like a dark violet and what I got (with the same color code as shown online) was a pretty vibrant berry tone. Also the bobbin is just a little bite darker but I think that makes that actually works pretty well when crocheting with both strands.
Ooh - that’s a great idea to hold them together. I was thinking they could be for sewing pieces together without adding bull but I’d much rather use it to crochet

I’ve ordered fabric squares and some gardening paraphernalia. I placed a really hodgepodge order now that I think back! Lol, I honestly was very surprised at the quality of most of what I received. I wish that I could get larger pieces of the fabric and that it was heavier, but I’ll just use it to make small notions pouches 🤷🏾♀️

I've ordered a number of times and only a couple of items weren't what I really expected. My first order, I got 4 skeins of yarn not knowing the quality. LOVED IT! Went back to get more and it was sold out. I do know that it you are ordering anything wearable, make sure to check the sizes guide!!! Don't just go with your normal size! Other than that, Temu is kind of fun to play around on!
I was just so surprised with the quality!
Regarding the bag bases, I bought two without checking measurements - now I'll be making some make up bags or similar (perfect size to store your face scrubbies)... But they are good quality.
Oh dear 😂 those tiny bags are on tread though! You’ll be the height of fashion!
Thank you for explaining the ply with Temu. It is so helpful to me. I thought 3 ply was the same as 3 weight and I was going to place an order in the next few days

maybe that is thread for sewing garment together if it is strong enough
I had the same thought after I’d shared this. Someone else said they held the yarn and thread together to crochet making it slightly thicker.
I've bought safety eyes for gifting, from Amazon, hoping that these ones are ok?? Same for stuffing... Do we need to buy from a shop instead of Amazon? (I know Amazon is not Temu).
I've had eyes from Amazon and they did state they met the regulations. It's so hard to know for certain. I only use them on gifts for over 3 year olds and embroider/ stitch for anyone else now.
