Once you have that basic understanding then you can simply find the components and solve the problem. He has videos describing the parallelogram in his kinematics playlist if you need to use it.

The amount of force keeping it from moving. Static Force + (mg sin theta) are the two forces keeping it from moving. Object 2 has to have a mass that's greater than that of those two forces combined, in other for it to accelerate.
