Introduction to Inclined Planes
Вставка
- Опубліковано 16 лют 2021
- This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into inclined planes. It covers the most common equations and formulas that you need to solve inclined plane physics problems. It provides the formulas needed to calculate the normal force, the component force of gravity parallel to the incline, kinetic friction, net force, and the acceleration of the object. It provides the free body diagrams that go with these formulas to solve common problems with newton's laws of motions.

Dear Sir,
Please clarify anything wrong here ?
3:41 - Triangle on the "right" compares to triangle on the "left" (the red line you have just drawn ==> Should it be x-line direction and the other one should be y-line direction (meaning other way around)?
That is x = mg sin (theta) and y = mg cos (theta) ?
Sir,
Please compare carefully situation between 7:14 and 8:44. To me, it is "the same"
Seem to me that you are treating object moving to the "Right-Hand-Side" direction is "+ve". Right?
Hence, Fx = -ve as object moves Left-Hand-Side in 8.44 ==> ax = -ve
==> 7:14 = 8:44, that is, Fx = -Fg - Fk
@@huyanhle Yes, that's true. As long as we stick to one frame of reference. We should be getting the same answer. we should be getting both the magnitude and direction correct.
Hi. I know you deserve remuneration for your efforts but some of us cannot afford to pay for the patreon. I really wish there was another way because your videos are helpful and I really need them
Start 0:14 formulas,2:16 finding acceleration,5:20 friction then acceleration,7:18 sliding up,8:45 another sliding up problem,10:12 problem solution 1 ,14:15 problem solution 2
THANK YOU
Hey thank you!
9:43
Sir how could it is sliding up in the left direction if the acceleration is going to the right(down)?
@@menglimarrero4296 there is a starting velocity that you didn't take into account
You are my hero bro..
You are helping me in everything since 3 years..(I am watching your videos since 3 years)
You made my High School and Now Engineering super easy..!!
Thank You Soooooo Much..!!!
You just saved me 5 weeks of not listening in class. Thx man 💜
Saving me 1 year in 2 weeks
@@joser7376 lol
Same here 😭😂
@@faithjosiah8337 XD
Why were you spending 5 weeks on this though my teacher just introduced it 2 days ago and I have a test on it today 🥲
The angle description to prove where theta is on the force triangle you gave is what I needed! Thank you!
You are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOUR AND YOUR FAMILY SAFE
Never been this early to an organic chem tutor vid :D you're the man
I've watched many of your videos and just now learned you had a patreon. I'll be supporting you from now on (might wanna advertise that a little more). Thank you for everything you do!
Your videos helped me so much especially during covid19 and has to do my modules alone. Thank you so much!
This channel is litreally the best one ever, the explanations of the concepts here are just amazing!
You're literally the best!! This is helping me review for my MCAT. Thank you so much.
YOU
SAVED
MY
LIFE
WISH YOU ALL THE GREAT HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE
Thank you very much sir, i have cleared all my basic doubts with this video on inclined surfaces topic.I never seen this type of explanation ever before.
Excellent easy to understand explanation. Easily one of the best teachers online. Thank you so much.
The best teacher ever ❤. You deserve soo much for helping out students. Appreciate your help and time 👏👏🙌🙌
hey wishing you all the joy in life cause you helped me (and millions of others) throughout some of the most important phases in our lives xx
I didn’t understand this at all. You work miracles!
this was way more helpful than my MCAT book, thank you!!
This gotta be most loved Channel on UA-cam I know and I also really like this channel it's my best source of study.
Helped me understand a concept that I was confused with for several days, thank you
Great video! Helped me a lot! Thanks for simplifying everything.
Thank you!!!!! Neither my professor nor the textbook could explain this well enough. God Bless you
Thanks so much man. Ive been stuck on resolving components and solving incined plane questions for the past year till i found this video. You are an amazing teacher 👏
Easy convenient and understandable thanks 👍
Thanks Man....you know everything...about school you are the best ... LOTS OF LOVE....
understand my college physics class so much now after being lost for the first entire month n a half. You potentially might have saved my grade. the goat.
Thank you so much. This is the video I'm looking for.
Sir ,your way of teaching is fabulous 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
You've been always helpful. Thanks
this is the best video this channel has made very insightful!
Thank you sir, you have helped me a lot!!
Your videos are really nice 😊
U literally explain everything. 🤷♂️😅
Ur actually the best physics teacher in the world 🌍🌎 😂☺️®
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an awesome video/lecture on The Introduction to Inclined Planes in Physics/Engineering Physics. The free body diagrams are the heart and soul of solving inclined plane physics problems. All physics students must know how to draw and analyze free body diagrams in physics. This is an error free video/lecture on UA-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Thank you so much, you explain better ❤️We appreciate you and thank you so much
You are the best bro .thanks for your content you alaways make my days better. You make more motivatet and optemistic.I am so thankfull🙏🙏🙏
This was super helpful will highly recommend to everyone I know you amazing
Thank you for saving millions of people's lives!!
I really thank you so much because I have improved in physics because of you.

Thanks a lot💯
Great explanation broh
Love from India❤️
20:38 this is debatable, making it come to a stop makes it seem like there is friction on the incline which is not included in calculations. gravity will ultimately pull the block back down. what i did was multiply the time it takes to get to its max height by 2, which is saying that it will reach a max height and then go back to where it started.
brother you're a genius ....wow!!
Love you man, thanks
Awesome 😎 video bro
Really dissected it there
Dude you saved my life. Thanks.
My exam is in 20 minutes and I'm watching all the math vector vids I can find LOLLLL I'm screwed.
How did it go
And you still have time to comment 💔😂😂lol
so helpful!!!
I'm in grade 6 and my science teacher gave me a test that is done asynchronously about a brick sliding down a 30° degree wedge...

thanks bruh youre the best
Man is a life saver istg ❤❤❤
For getting Fx why are you using sin instead of cos? I thought we would always use cos for x and sin for y like in kinematics?
Thank you
This man knows everything😮
Bro you're the best.
Thank you!
WELL DONE 100%
Thankyou so much
GOOD EXPAINETION . FOR STUDENT AND REST OF PEOPLE.
thank you
U are the best really
at 2:53
Fnet on y-axis should be zero to say that Fn=mg cos(angle), while the object is moving at an angle which means that it's moving with acceleration on x and y axes which means Fnet on y, is not equal to zero
Nah this is so weird 💀 we are learning inclined planes tomorrow and then this video shows up. I always see comments on your other videos about you showing up when people need it 😭
Thanks, you really saved me 2hrs before the exam
😆
When you want a study-buddy but Organic Chemistry Tutor is the best choice haha
My Uni professor takes pride in not giving lecture because "it doesn't challenge us", so learning how this stuff works from the internet is the solution to that problem
Thank u so much
