- We got our hands on the new RIDGID 18-volt R09898 23-gauge pin nailer and the new RIDGID 18V R09850 18ga Stapler. The 23ga pinner barely leaves any noticeable marks, while the 18ga stapler joins material with lots of strength.

Looks great, hopefully it means TTI will be releasing Ryobi HP versions soon as I’m on that platform. An M18 pin nailer would be great too.
I'm sure it won't be long for either.
I would like to see Ridgid follow Ryobi’s lead and release their next generation brushless multitool with the trigger, and speed selector included on top. Hopefully that’s in the works.
I have the Ryobi version of this! I really like it, but my biggest complaint is no depth of drive adjustment. The Ridgid fixes that. Hopefully that means Ryobi will add that to theirs at some point. But for what I paid ($69), I am ok with some compromise.
Take off the no mar plastic protect cover on 23 gaug pin nailer and it should nail flush. Ryobi has the same issue
Great review! Thanks!
You missed that the pin nailer has no delay on the trigger.
It appears to have a nitrogen charge rather than the ramp up and fire of all the other Ridgid and Ryobi nailers. (excluding framing)
Im not a fan of the stapler. My Ryobi was like that. Ramp up to drive the staple. I got a Milwaukee that runs like the pin nailer in this video.
