I loved playing Toontown in the 2000s as a kid, It's what made MMOs one of my most favourite genres. Everyone at school played Club Penguin and I felt cool not playing just some browser game. Can't believe the original game closed almost 10 years ago already.

I got a demo of disney’s extremely goofy skateboarding in a cereal box back in the day and I played that demo so much that my parents eventually got me the full game

This was my first PC, or another model in the same case with the same screen. I have no idea how my dad got his hands on one in the Darwin and I've never seen another before or since but I was stoked. It was a big upgrade from any PC we had owned before, and it was just for me! After a while the disc drive wouldn't open unless I hit hit the side of the tower. It ended up with a pretty big dent in the side, which felt like the milenium falcon to my child brain.
Takes me back? to where? I still run speedfan. It is still a pretty reliable program for what it does. Its like winamp. That is still one of the best ways to play music files.
SpeedFan stopped working properly for me when I upgraded motherboard a few years ago. Some motherboards it just doesn't allow you to control the fans and that one (I think it was the Crosshair VI Hero) was one of them. I could read the RPM but not control them, no matter what I did with BIOS settings. A while back I found a program called Argus Monitor and I still use it. It costs money (but it's like $50 for several years or something) and it's a great piece of software. Much better UI and more control over stuff. Advanced curves, averaging, comparators, etc. It's really nice. Instructions are a bit lacking but just mess with it and you figure it out.

In my case its from AORUS, i can literally get my fans at as slow as they will go without shutting down until cpu OR gou get to 65 C, and adjust the fan curve very well. I honestly dont see the reason to use SpeedFan anymore. As for CoreTemp... I gotta give it a try, its annoying to open Ryzen Master all the frikin time.
@@sedixmrboss5625 Yeah CoreTemp can be set up to only show CPU package temp instead of all core temps, leaving a single number readout in the taskbar and isn't bloated like manufacturer programs. Still updated too. As for SpeedFan, I stopped using it years ago when UEFI became standard and got fan control support in the bios.

Man, I remember the demo myself. It was such a fun little slice of the full game, a game I never actually got. ): But, it was still a fun thing to play even for a bit. Still remember trying to access other parts of the game that wasn't part of the demo and remember the whole "Sorry, not part of the preview!" via Goofy. Nolstagia is a powerful tool sometimes.

This was my first PC, or another model in the same case with the same screen. I have no idea how my dad got his hands on one in the Darwin and I've never seen another before or since but I was stoked. It was a big upgrade from any PC we had owned before, and it was just for me! After a while the disc drive wouldn't open unless I hit hit the side of the tower. It ended up with a pretty big dent in the side, which felt like the milenium falcon to my child brain.
It was for kids who parents that love them, yup. Confirmed Madison and Anthony are the future of LMG

Takes me back? to where? I still run speedfan. It is still a pretty reliable program for what it does. Its like winamp. That is still one of the best ways to play music files.
SpeedFan stopped working properly for me when I upgraded motherboard a few years ago. Some motherboards it just doesn't allow you to control the fans and that one (I think it was the Crosshair VI Hero) was one of them. I could read the RPM but not control them, no matter what I did with BIOS settings. A while back I found a program called Argus Monitor and I still use it. It costs money (but it's like $50 for several years or something) and it's a great piece of software. Much better UI and more control over stuff. Advanced curves, averaging, comparators, etc. It's really nice. Instructions are a bit lacking but just mess with it and you figure it out.

In my case its from AORUS, i can literally get my fans at as slow as they will go without shutting down until cpu OR gou get to 65 C, and adjust the fan curve very well. I honestly dont see the reason to use SpeedFan anymore. As for CoreTemp... I gotta give it a try, its annoying to open Ryzen Master all the frikin time.
@@sedixmrboss5625 Yeah CoreTemp can be set up to only show CPU package temp instead of all core temps, leaving a single number readout in the taskbar and isn't bloated like manufacturer programs. Still updated too. As for SpeedFan, I stopped using it years ago when UEFI became standard and got fan control support in the bios.
@@sedixmrboss5625 And yet a lot of the manufacturers base software won't let you adjust things like whether to control a fan speed based on GPU temps instead of CPU. (Which is exactly why I use speedfan on my 9900k + 3080 rig.)
