@@NyanyiC great questions deserve great answers .. let’s see what happens

This is bs there’s no part 2!!!
His family enabled him by not letting him confess to tricias father, to think that those others deaths could have been prevented is truly disheartening
I concur
I definitely agree with you, if they had let it go talk to her dad years ago, they would not be any more deaths. I cannot believe a family would enable a kid like that. He’ll go on it if you hadn’t gotten, caught the teachers and enable his children, and it becomes a snowball effect.
His family is also guilty of these murders for protect him. Because of them he killed another 2 and nearly a third one.

*because of ashton kutcher's irresponsible actions
@@travismiller5548how so?
Encouraging your adult child to protect his rights is not a crime. As an attorney with 2 adult sons and 6 brothers and sisters I instruct them all never ever talk to police without an attorney. If you do and you get jammed up good luck.

For someone who's supposedly so "good looking," he's honestly pretty mid.
I don't think he's even remotely good-looking. I guess the saying is true, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Really not good-looking!! Please, pretty average 😮
Definitely not like what people think serials should look like. I think 'he's nice looking' really means he doesn't look like a serial.
I'm here for this comment. A model? Maybe he looks good in socks. Who knows. I know where I stand. I'm not a goddess...I wouldn't do that.
As someone who’s worked in the industry, and also modeled, I can confirm there’s ZERO chance anyone would have signed him. None. Y’all are correct.
Did anyone else find it strange that his family rolled up when he was about to confess in Illinois? So they knew he was sick and hid him in la? Or they were a twisted family entirely and they were covering up for him. That family needs to be investigated.
That was the corroborating evidence the detective should have used in conjunction with the DNA. Then they should have gone after his alibi and anything else. Cook county investigators and prosecutors dropped the ball super hard.
@@TackJorrance exactly!
Sick individuals😮
"Investigated"???
They need to be BROUGHT UP ON CHARGES for contributing to the other homicides!!!
His family enabled him to continue killing when they could have stopped the carnage RIGHT THEN and gotten him the help he desperately needed.
They are as culpable as he is and they also deserve prison time.
Tragic. And so preventable. 😢
I found it VERY disturbing, and wondered why no one followed up with that family to see what was going on.
Stop with the two parters.
Yeah, just make the episode 5 minutes longer since that is all that will be new in the next one, haha.
@@MarionMMthats the truth🤣🤣‼️‼️
They did this last week with "The Black Swan" and part 2 contained over 30 mins of part 1. I skipped to just the trial and verdict. Waste of time.
Especially cases that are this boring.
Considering that this case is from 5 years ago, it's easy to find information on what happened at the trial & the verdict.
If his parents had allowed justice to take it's course four other women could have been saved from his wicked acts.
Dumbest question ever " have you ever seen anything like that?" A person stabbed 47 times...thank god few have seen it
I found it very dumb, too! They should come up with smarter question!
Yeah, my thoughts exactly!
She needs to think before she speaks. SMH
This person is dangerous beyond belief. He's cleary not wired correctly.
Having watched my fair share of these made me realize that what kept me safe my whole life is the fact that every time I enter a room nothing happens: It doesn't get lit by my smile, I don't own it and I'm not its center. I thank the lord for that.
Being 'average' sure has its benefits, yep.
Then you're safe indeed. Just don't make the mistake of moving into a small community that's close-knit and everyone knows just about everybody else in town.
Such an AWESOME comment. 🙌🏻
@@dianegreyson8787you’re right. Move to a big city where crime is higher than small communities. 🤡
That's not exactly how murderers choose their victims but if that makes you feel good then I guess. Seeing as you're still alive that means that any day something bad could happen
The fact that the other’s deaths could have been prevented if his parents spoke up. So sick!!
Great investigative work.. DNA match, connection to several murders and no arrests. And not even keeping an eye on a guy. Mind-blowing.
That’s not how the system works. They can’t keep an eye on someone 24/7 365.

Yeah, same! The second part is never next on the page either. Surely, they could hook that up. :)
True
You actually don't have to watch part 1 or part 2.
I do not see a handsome guy in that killer. He has a coldblooded expression in his eyes. As for me, he is not at all a beauty, not enough to be a nice actor. Maybe an evil actor...
I don't think he's good-looking at all. I can't understand why people kept saying that.😅
I'm disgusted by him. Had to look away each time they showed his mug... He looks creepy!
Facts ‼️
It's easy to look at someone you know is a killer and say "he has a coldblooded expression in his eyes." I can see a good looking guy in the younger photos. Hollywood good looking? No - average good looking. His personality was off putting to those interviewed so that is probably why someone who should have still been able to get a girlfriend and friends, repelled people.
SO HIS FATHER KNEW? THATs WHY HE GOT HIM OUT OF THE FIRST GIRLS HOUSE??
Yep. They should've been brought up on charges for aiding and abetting.
His family has blood on their hands, hope they will have to pay for hiding what they knew for so many years!
They should've been charged for aiding and abetting, as well as conspiracy since they assisted in him being able to attack more victims.
You guys only mentioned Ashton Kutcher 1000 times.

A coward! Like all perpetrators...
That struck me as odd too. I think she surprised him with the vigorous fight she put up and it snatched him from his rogue state just long enough to realize that he was out of control, but not enough to stop him from trying again. He must have hated pretty, young, White females from a young age.

Great job on following this story for over a decade and for correspondent Maureen Maher to help solve this!
Imagine seeing your daughter lying coldly in front of the house the first thing in the morning. Why do these murderers like playing God? Who do they think they are?😤💔
Is anyone else weirded out about how many times that one guy kept saying "good-looking"?
Yes it was very odd
😂 extremely odd
Honestly, if this episode was a drinking game for how many times they said “attractive” and “good looking”, we’d be DONEZOOOOOOO 🤣
Yessss! Once was more than enough. (And personally I don't think the killer was good looking at all!)
He was probably jealous he wasn't the one getting hit on.
People who keep saying he’s good looking, is the good looking in the room with us? Because that man looks terrifying
He was from Glenview, IL, where I grew up. There have only been a few murders in the 55 years I lived there. This was the worst. It's too bad his family didn't let him confess to Tricia's dad.
Yeah but for some reason, there are sooo many serial killers from Illinois and Wisconsin that it's legit starting to make me wanna move from this area...ugh...
It's more than "too bad." It's criminal. They aided and abetted a murderer and cleared his path to continue to wreak havoc.
Is the second part going to be a 40 minute recap followed by 10 mins of new content like the last two parter?
Right? Ugh.
Probably... lol

Gosh I hope not. I'm about to watch it now!
Yes they mentioned Ashton Kutcher too many times but anyone else notice he was suppose to arrive at 8pm then 9pm and ended up coming at 10:45pm? 🤦♀️
The fact that he kept pushing back time and who has dinner at later than 10pm?

So if Ashton Kutcher had picked up his date on time for dinner, she would not have been stabbed to death. He strung her along and only showed up at 10:45 leaving her vulnerable to attack. Disgusting.

why two parts? u take your subscribers as granted. he was sentenced five years ago.
His family should feel great for stopping him from confessing to her father! Way to go. Now they have multiple women's blood on their hands. Not that they care.
Motive is missing in all these stories. True crime buffs like motive. What drove such hatred?
This dude might as well have been wearing a shirt that said "I'm a serial killer, ask me how!". Ridiculous.
His eyes are terrifying!
Any guy who can be so focussed in on a girl, showing up uninvited, acting odd, etc. sure should be watched more closely. Of course, hindsight is 20/20 and many just write stuff like that off.

THE KILLER IS SO DAM GORGEOUS 😍 ABSOLUTELY HANDSOME YNG MAN❤
Why is he killing all these women? He can get almost any girl he wants as shown by his multiple relationships. Some people are just evil.
They are all petite women whom he could easily overcome except for the last fighter.

You'd think the creepy a/c guy that wasn't part of Ashley's circle would be the first to question since they were communicating recently. That's my opinion.

You ever noticed 48 hour literally never solves any of these murders in 48 hours? 😂
They never say they do solve it in 48 hours. The whole 48 hours thing comes from the fact that the most and best evidence you're going to get comes within the first 48 hours (hence the name of that other show).
