My goodness this is so sad! I pray for this mother and little girl, I would hope this rich family would extend their finances to help pay for this beautiful little girl to Grow up happy and healthy and have all the benefits and privileges she should have. Just because her father was a monster shouldn't destroy her legacy. These women who come here to America and marry these wealthy men that they honestly know nothing about are asking for trouble. You can't buy happy ever after. Money is the root of all evil, not the key to happy ever after. If you think money will make you happy you are sorely mistaken. You need to find a stable, secure, sane, happy, individual with morals and respect to build a happy life. Money can't buy that. It is only a shield That can fool you. Wake up.

Our legal system requires a vigorous defense, or the lawyer is in trouble with their licensing board. Most know their client is guilty, but that is not the point - that judgement is for the jury. The lawyer just has to defend them, and see that they are given a fair trial (all the rules are obeyed.) ppl make different decisions in certain situations. Her life was falling apart, she simply wanted to fix it. Her mother was taking care of her baby while she tried to understand and figure out what to do about her relationship, she most likely didn't want her baby in that environment until she felt like things were ok again.

Not really sure why the Russian mafia angle was brought up, not just once but multiple times. It had zero relevancy to this case. And the autopsy report was far worse than what is reported here. He removed her scalp, completely skinned her head and neck. Police found him in the master bedroom lying next to her corpse, like he had tried to create a mannequin or human doll to live next to. I couldn't shake the thought of why she would give up her baby to be with him, but then it struck me - the manipulation of a narcissistic man on a vulnerable woman experiencing postpartum depression/anxiety, coupled with the allure of the idealized love he promised, was enough to keep her hoping and trying to fix things, even after his infidelity. Yana's downfall began when she bought into the illusion of him being her Prince Charming. A cautionary tale that serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of falling for false promises.
