Was in a shop buying a burrito and as I was walking out (still had my helmet on) a kid was like "Whoa......" and stood there with his jaw dropped pointing at my bike. I wasn't outside yet but I just started laughing. His mom was like that's a Motorcycle. Then I go outside and he sees me he's like "Whoa...." again and I gave him a high five. He was SO happy, made my day.
Aids or a malfunctioning drift camera? well if you've ever spoken to drift customer support regarding a faulty one you'd know Aids is easier to cure
This comment on its own made me laugh more than i think it should.
+Shortie Geordie Mine has fits every now and then. I've learned that you just have to turn it off and on if the LCD screen doesn't go dark when it's supposed to if you've set an LCD timer or pop the battery out if it freezes. Seems that it'll only freeze in the first 30 seconds of a recording so I just wait to make sure it stays on before I take off.
I'm pretty sure the problem is that I'm using a $50 SD card but it really wants a $150 SD card. Too many other things I want to spend money on first for me to bother though.

The description of being on a motorway at the start was spot on, I never really noticed it on my 125 but when I upgraded to the XJ6 the difference was insane, first long journey was so exhausting! I'm just too lazy to find an alternative route from Bournemouth to Essex

We suffer from the same curse. Got two used bikes sat in the garage. One for over a year now. Both not on the road yet. Well at least one bike is just facing its end boss, the DVLA.

My Bell Star Carbon doesn't have that problem on naked bikes until up around 120+. My neck muscles have been trained by years of riding a Speed Triple at ludicrous speed.
You can block the air vents on the AGV PISTA Carbon.....mine came with 2 sets of air vent plugs and 3M earplugs.
I just realized that I've had my low light setting on my camera for a couple months. Vids have looked washed out and I couldn't figure out why. Wanted to take a mallet to the camera when I learned what it was.
I just got my licence this sunday! but I dont own a bike! so hearing you talk about al these bikes you own, want and all that makes be both really excited and depressed at the same time!

there's nothing worse than.... people who haven't do done up their back pack properly. That was bugging me all damn vlog!
Gotta love insurance policies! A friend of mine crashed in to the back of me when he lost the front. The only real damage was done to the Akrapovic silencer and the clutch lever. But because of minor scratches here and there, some of them old, (who cares its a supermoto), the cost of repairs went up to 2100€. They just offered to pay me 2100€, so i took the money and bought a new silencer and clutch lever, all in all 600€. Easiest money ever made :D

Being that you mentioned your '78 BMW R100, have you ever considered replacing the BMW emblem badges on the tanks with custom-made badges of your 44Teeth logo?
How's the Gold visor visibility wise? Im tempted by the iridium blue for mine. Ive had plenty of moments where the drift remote says recording and the camera has no fucking memory...great fun.
I live near the roads you went on, this must have been filmed a few months ago, because there was no roadworks down Old Woking road in the video.

My bad, I hadn't realised the roadworks have now finished. They have been there for a long time, so it's good they're gone, but they have left the road all bumpy. Typical of roadworks, they take ages and do a sh*t job.

I do really want to see more of that R100. You should do more "in the shop" videos and do some vlogs while working on it.
I have the 1290, but why does yours say licence plate lamp not legal? I've never had that error. I use the R&G tail tidy. True story about the motorway riding, but it's a great place to feel its power. I don't think I'll ever do the speed I achieved on it ever again...

Mr.Baron I have a question; Both of those cameras you were using are Drift Ghost right? or the one on the handle bars was a Drift Stealth 2? I ask this because i'm planning on buying a AC, but i don't really want to much money on it and a Stealth2 seems like a pretty good investment. My stealth 2 keeps freezing and showing 0% battery as well, only had it a few weeks. Calling drift tomorrow...
Seems to be a common thing with insurance write-offs with minimal damage.

I always keep my Drift Ghost S on "night mode". Day or night the quality is pretty much the same at the end.
But it doesn't work the other way around (normal mode in night times) ^^

My GPS on my GS also reads 5 mph difference. I assume the bike is correct.
I've got a buddy who crashed his 2012 675r at a track day. Insurance gave him 10k for the bike, he bought it back from them for 2k (bodywork is gone, tank done, but no motor, exhaust, or suspension damage). Then he realized he works for a company that is owned by yamaha, so he also bought a 2015 R1 at employee cost. Lesson: insure a bike and crash it and you'll get two track bikes.

Banned 12 months for a wheelie? Dang, that's harsh.. Over here in Germany you have to pay 25-50€ (depends on if you were "endangering" other people or not) and you're good to go.

Future Proof
Talking is a big part of it but I personally like to see what's going on in the road even if it's just your every day traffic. Each to their own though.

How are you finding the tomtom rider? I've got one but I've yet to mount it to the bike itself I just use Bluetooth for it to talk to me, is it worth mounting it to see the screen?

The right mirror on my brand new YZF fell off last week, it was a bit stiff so I applied some lube and next thing I know the poxy thing fell off :'(
