This is like watching close-up David Blaine-style magic. You can see every finger movement yet I still can’t figure out how he makes this music appear. Amazing.
The way this young man is able to incorporate every detail of a song into his playing is remarkable. Without having to compromise an ounce of rhythm or timing. He's already a master at his craft 👌

kent you are the birelly lagrene ,the jimmy rosenberg, the michael jackson , the elvis presely and frank sinatra ,(to mention a few) of fingerstyle .. no one else of all fingestylist can reproduce what you can..Being a fingerstylist for over 40 years finally someone produces something what every gitarist wishes we could do on a guitar.. Moreover you reproduce the whole band including all its finesses having the balls to use alternate tuning to sound like the original bands they way you play this bass line where you stop it from ringing is amazing keeping all the other parts swinging at the same time.. so incredibly good ... im glad to be alive and witness this magic
Kent's timing is impeccable, he nails the groove and keeps it in the pocket throughout the whole tune. I hit like on his videos before playing 'em 'cause I know they'll be good.
I have to watch his videos multiple times before I can fully take everything in. It's like a movie where you notice something you missed the first time. So many subtleties
@@pauls4742 hmm.. maybe not.. I can notice a delay in the video and sound but I’m pretty sure he is tapping and that tapping is together with the bass.. That has to go somewhere and that should be the bass we are hearing..
@@pauls4742 when Kent overdubs, it's presented with 2 to 3 screens. So are you suggesting he would overdub when it's only a single screen - as it is here?

He doesn’t add extra bass in the videos, he uses an octave pedal (Boss OC-3) which gives the lower strings that extra bass guitar sound. With some post effects work to further enhance the sound. And given that this arrangement is in a baritone tuning further enhances the bass notes in this video. So please, shut up.
Just noticed recently kent is more frequently using his lowden guitar. Its the best guitar for freestyle i think. The sound is well balance and really suits kent god level playstyle.
