I learned more from this video than anything else in the past 4 months of struggling to crimp pins.
Good job. Real good camera and focus. Helpful.
I have one of these tools (4Years) and never knew it was for molex pins! Great video!!!
This was extremely helpful. There is nothing more irritating than a shaking camera 10 miles away from the action, with someone saying "put this here." Put what where?! All I see are hands moving. Ha ha. The zoom was sharp, detailed, and on target. Bravo.
Thanks!
Well done vid!!!! One of the few people people that know how to teach. Very helpful. Very informative. Much appreciated sharing your knowledge. Thank you.
This man taught me everything I know about crimping.
Best tutorial I’ve ever seen on crimping! Thanks, Mike!
What he said….squared. Ty
Good, helpful vid, one thought I would add. Probably universal, but my crimper die has a little step in it for the fatter insulation end of the terminal, thus the terminal only correctly loads in the die one way. Something to look for.
Dude like every one of your videos is super helpful! Thanks.
Thank you for showing us how. Neatness counts!
Perfect timing - just needed to do this to a bunch of yoke connectors
Flippin awesome tutorial sir !
Nice tutorial! After getting a crimping tool I said goodbye to pliers 😎
This was vary informative, thank you.
I have to connect a 72 volt 50 amp e scooter motor controller, this video was very helpful
This was helpful! Thank you.
Very helpful, bless you!
This is great! Simple and straight forward. Thank you! I have anout 60 to do on 2 pairs of 15 pin molex's.
Thanks big guy! Will theese work for mk kick harness? Meaning the plastic part and the steel clips
Keep 'em coming! Enjoy the videos and learn ALOT! Question: what model soldering iron do you use?
Weller.
I always just solder them then crimp them down with plyers. I don't have one of those molex crimpers.
I now have molex crimpers thanks to this video.
EXCELENTISIMO VIDEO!!!❤❤❤,😎👍
Gracias!
Good video. Have you ever used a Molex HTR 2445A crimper? Do you know what it is used for? Thanks.
Thanks for the awesome and informative videos! Quick question, what is the correct plastic molex connector to use on these?
Check the video description.
Thank you for this!
What specific crimper tool are you using? It looks like a ratcheting type that crimps both parts at once.
Thank you
Correct. I got it from an arcade expo. I’ll have to see if I can find it online and let you know.
So if I was making a custom wire from rca to molex, should I just chop the shield/ground off of the wire when I crimp the molex end?
Not sure I understand. You want to terminate the ground at each end.
where can i get that crimper
if you dont hear a click does it mean anyhing
Get outta here medusa lol. Do you know where I can find those brackets for the crimp tool? Or what they're called?
Brackets? Can you be more specific?
@@MikesArcadeMonitorRepair The part that crimps the connector to the cable. Looks like they're attached with some bolts so I am wondering if I can just buy those things and put them on my tool instead of buying an entirely new tool
on rge .156 houseing the the connector does not go in easy any help thank john
