That hour flew by! And I must have paused ten times to get all my notes written down! My spirit is full! God's word is energizing, life-giving! Thanks Mike. I will be sharing this with my friends!
I know right? This is my morning bible study of late, and I think at the start "A whole hour?" But then I get completely engrossed and time just slips on by
The significance of seventy times seven. When Peter asks how many times to forgive, and Jesus responds with seventy times seven. And Daniel - “a period of seventy times seven”
@@IrrelevantIrrelevant-s8v the question was actually “how often can my brother sin against me and I forgive him?” It is not forgiving one past deed over and over.
@@Andy-gq5hb it’s nothing too wild. Jesus says you forgive until 70 times 7. Daniel’s prophecy essentially says that the end will come when 70 times 7. Taken together Jesus is saying that you forgive until the end of the world.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for this series and that it is still here 5 years later. I am using the series to show loved ones prophesy in the bible that has come true so hopefully they'll go WOW! that is a lot and become Christians. I copy the scripture to a Word based program then watch you, pause it, write what you said in Word, watch you, pause it, etc... Takes a long time but worth every minute. I then send it and the link to the series to a loved one. Your prayer hit it right on to what I am praying for, that this will touch him and I am hoping and praying I can get another loved one to let me go through this with them. Again Thank you for your ministry. I get up every day to see if there is something on UA-cam I can listen to. I appreciate your laughter, your honesty and that you're willing to go outside the box of that maybe certain churches would see things. Your 20 questions are great to listen to. THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for putting this together in an easy to understand way. I made a big decision today because of my renewed faith fed by your teaching in this video. God is so good!
So crazy! This showed up today and I’ve been troubled about Jeff Durbin’s video on this. His teaching just doesn’t check. I was going to ask you to make a video on this and now it shows up today. You already made one in 2016! Love it!
@@chriswright2483 Durbin sees the 70th week as fulfilled and so do I ..... it was Christ who confirmed the Covenant, not some antichrist character in a rebuilt temple. God bless you.
In my devotional studies this morning, the Holy Spirit brought me back here once again. I'm full to overflowing again!!! "Because the Bible is a unit!!!" Yes, another Wingerism!
Not sure how I found your station but glad I did. This was the best explanation of the 70 week prophecy I’ve come across. Thanks for a job well done. If anyone reads and understands Daniel they cannot deny Jesus.
Check out Dr. Chuck Missler's teaching on Daniel 9 and the 70 weeks prophecy, it's the best one out there. He's a former Calvary Chapel teacher like Mike is.
What’s holding you back? It was the evident, unabashed joy Mike takes in the Gospel that helped me truly ‘get it’. Though I admit, I never didn’t believe in God but I was very confused in many ways. I wonder what it is that keeps ppl either on the fence or at least willing to listen to in depth Bible studies yet not become a believer. May God bless you ❤️

@@peterhefford8138 So great to hear, Peter! And thank you so much for the response; I couldn’t have prayed for a better outcome for you. I completely understand what you mean by having been ‘missing something’ before. Though, I did have struggles, I wouldn’t say I was depressed as I had maintained hope even before I came back to Christ and began a personal relationship w/ Him. Yet, I had that same exact revelation, myself. After having survived various traumatic situations at various points in my life- the most damaging and likely what had set my life course for a time being the trauma I was immersed in during my developmental years. Therefore, it had always felt as though I was trying to escape something. That I was always trying to ‘fix’ whatever aspect of myself or my behavior kept getting me in relationships that were so unhealthy for me. You see, my mom was my abuser in my young childhood. Then, I become stuck under her thumb & isolated by her in very early adulthood once more & then, a very close friend became my final abuser before I fell now I’ve finally finally broken away & have healed well enough to set healthy boundaries. Anyway- I could go on forever just from that point on regarding my testimony but I’ll be quick. As I’d always gotten ‘better & better’ & made it ‘further & further’ or ‘longer & longer’ & then in the end, it was a person that had green a brother to me for 6 years who turned so evil against me… there i was, thinking I was the common denominator and so it had to be me. Or it had to be meant to be. I used to think God was punishing me for all the wrongs in my life. After all, I did act out terribly in adolescence & ISO I blamed myself for not only what my behavior brought down on me but the ways I’d been mistreated as well. So the final tear down was after years of what I thought was happiness & stability. I had been a young single mother but at that point, I thought I’d ‘won the race’ to become an independent & stable mother before they’d be old enough to remember such stuggles. As the perfect storm of business & personal tragedy came together to know me off my block where I’d really thought I’d been doing everything ‘right’ finally, I found myself laying on my bedroom floor and staring up at my ceiling, thinking over & over, “what am I missing?? What am I missing? I didn’t do anything ‘wrong’ by any body, I respected myself, showed absolute integrity & honor…why, and how, did I fall so so far & so hard again?” It was as though it was so obvious that when it came to me, I kinda laughed at myself a bit, through the tears that had been silently standing down my face. I was missing God! I was missing Christ in my life! Sure, I’d never NOT believed in Him. And oddly, I feel I needed to somehow ‘be better’ to present myself to Him (as though He’s not omnipresent & all lol). However, I never welcomed Him into my life and laid myself out in sorrow bc & repentance for my ways, begging He have mercy on me. And so now- even on my most difficult days, I, too, have that ‘something extra’ that makes happiness fuller & despair survivable. God Bless, my brother in Christ {btw- after that I began studying apologetics as I worried about the denomination aspect. I believe I’m basically solo scriptura w/ a healthy respect for old traditions & ensure I research the origins of them to understand their true meaning…ie- Xmas actually isn’t a celebration of capitalism! 😉 I’m just mentioning it as bc I was so shocked and saddened by the extra & even anti-biblical practices that are so prevalent in the organization of churches and they will poison the the Body of Christ, the true & only church made up of all believers. My family is Catholic & though many many good Catholics exist, Catholicism itself has some really really bad doctrines & it breaks my heart.}
@@onelove864 Wow.... what a story. I'm so glad you have found God and he has managed to come into your life and given you hope and happiness. I think you realise now that you were NOT being punished by God for your sins. Jesus has paid for all our sins, and given us his grace. Maybe it was what you needed to go through to truly find God. I have just been reading about Jacob and how he was mistreated by his brothers, sold as a slave, wrongly accused of indecent acts towards him masters wife, slung in prison. It all turns out good for him, and he believes it was Gods plan for his brothers to sell him as a slave so that he could one day save them and Gods choose people so that Jesus would be able to show all of us the light and save us all. Xmas. I don't think Christmas was that important to Christ. It doesn't seem to have much of a mention in the Bible, except for telling how Jesus came to be born as a man in the flesh and his linage to prove the prophecy that the messiah would be born of Abraham and Isaac's descendants. Hello Mike, I really appreciate your ministry. As a Christian apologist who has studied eschatology and Daniel 9 in particular, I have a question regarding the warrant for separating the 70th week from the preceding 69 weeks. Is there anything in the text that suggests we should expect a two thousand year (and counting) gap? The prophecy is for 70 “sevens” of years as typically interpreted, or 490 years, and there was no gap between the first “week” and the 62 “weeks”, correct? Verse 26 of Dan 9 says that AFTER the 62 weeks Messiah would be cut off, and you say as much, but this implies the beginning of the final consecutive week. “The people of the ruler to come” i.e., the Romans, did in fact bring war, desolation, and destruction to the temple; I find this interpretation to be of great apologetic benefit as it demonstrates the complete prophecy of 490 years-just as the angel told Daniel. I’m certainly aware of the theologies that posit a gap in the prophecy (used to believe it myself!) and insert an “antichrist” figure, but found that its just not indicated in the text, only brought in to support a pre-conceived eschatological scheme. Why not follow the simple reading and let the Bible speak for itself rather than creating a difficult to defend-and impossible to falsify-interpretation? Blessings, and keep up the great work!
Hello, I know this comment is two years old, however, I think I may have something you may find useful. In the epistle of Barnabas, which is one of the acrocraphalic NT writings, there is a theory known as the "Millenium-Saboth" theory. Basically, just as there were about two thousand between adam and Moses and about two thousand years from Moses to Christ, there will also be two thousand years from Christ to the second coming, and then the thousand-year reign on earth, totaling to seven thousand years. If we take one thousand years to one day, seven days, and the seventh being the saboth. I suppose we will know relatively soon if this really is the case, but it does seem plausible.
@@osbujeff1 I listened to a lot of Jon Courson's videos on Revelation. Learned it from him, but it perfectly make sense. Daniel's prophesy and visions is only about Israel.
an indefinite time gap between the 69th and 70th week is definitely just unfalsifiability. and it undermine's mike's "this prophecy is so great because it has a time limit" another bad time gap is the 37 years between the anointed cut off and the temple destroyed which you would absolutely not take away from reading verse 26 and are not trying to force it on to the Jesus timeline. if you have to allow 37 unaccounted for years in the middle of a verse and then an undetermined amount of time between the 69th and 70th week of a "time specific" prophecy, you're pretty much done here
Praise the Lord for allowing you to show the evidence of the bible and supporting it with scripture. Be safe at the camp and may the Lord lead you and reveal you more topics and studies along your jurney. Stay humble and keep your faith strong!
Rick Huntling Uh no! The temple will NOT be rebuilt. It already was rebuilt in 31 AD with Jesus rising again. Also, there is NO separate rapture of the church. All believers go to Heaven at the same time when Jesus comes to get us at the rapture/second coming. It’s the same event on the same day.

In other words his innocent children and the believers keeping are taken and the "good man" not evil gets left behind because he failed to expect a sudden rapture; Mat. 24:39-44. All the parables drip nothing but a pre-trib rapture first stated in Isa 26:19-21. Your not watching son because your cult says different not the bible. @@aerodave1 That is the historical view. The Dispensational view divides the 70th week from the other 69 even though there isn't any Biblical support for splitting the last week off. The 70th week is the the first 3 1/2 years of of Christ's ministry to Israel when Messiah is cut off and puts an end to the sacrifices. The second half is the ministry of the Apostles and what did Jesus say the last time He left the Temple? "I leave you your house desolate." Desolations are determined. Add up the whole 70 weeks of years, it's 490 years. When does it end? AD 36 and that was about the time Christians were beginning to be dispersed, also most historians put the Crucifixion in AD 33, Christ would have been 37-38. In AD 70 the Temple was destroyed. The key is Dispensationalism which was started by John Darby in 1830 in Scotland. Darby actually got his doctrine of a pre-trib rapture from a woman named Mary Stewart in the Apostolic Catholic Church who had a vision about it and John Darby made it fit into the Bible. Darby came to America and met Cyrus Scofield and Dispensational doctrine was spread mostly by the Scofield study Bible and Niagara Prophecy Meetings.
To preface, I'm not a scholar, but tried to do the accounting of this as well. If the 69th week ended (and possibly the 70th week started) in 26/27 AD, that means Jesus is on the scene by that year, either starting his earthly ministry, or entering Jerusalem on a donkey. Since John the Baptist's ministry started in the 15th year of Tiberius, then 26 AD is thrown out as is 15th year (if counted by coregency) is 27 AD. Otherwise, his 15th year is in 29 AD, which is too late if you use the exact years in the prophecy. If John started his ministry about when he was 30 years old (age of when you enter priestly ministry Num 4:3), he would've started about March-ish 27 AD. Then Jesus, who is 6 months younger and was about 30 when He started His ministry (Luke 3:23), which would also be in 27 AD during Tiberius's 15th year around September-ish. As there are references to 3 different Passovers in the Gospels, then 3 Passovers from September 27 AD, would bring the Crucifixion to Wednesday, April 6th, 30 AD, 2.5 years total. That then doesn't fit His ministry being the 70th week as it's supposed to be 3.5 years, as that would be 4 Passovers. Some scholars support 4 Passovers due to all the events of Jesus's ministry. That would change the crucifixion to Wednesday, April 25th, 31 AD and fir the 70th week if you support that view. That means He spent the 25th, 26th, and 27th nights in the grave, and rose after 72 hours like the Bible states: - Luke 24:7 Arise ON 3rd day - Matthew 12:40 3 days AND nights in tomb - Matthew 27:62-66 Tomb secured UNTIL the 3rd DAY - John 2:19-21 Jesus to raise His body in 3 days - Mark 8:31/9:31 Jesus teaches He will rise both AFTER 3rd day and ON 3rd day - John 11:9-10 Jesus says daylight has 12 hours If daylight(day) is 12 hours, then Day and Night must be 24 hours. 3 days and nights equal 72 hours. He cant be in the tomb no more than 72 hour(in 3 days), but no less (after 3 days). Meaning Jesus was in the tomb for exactly 72 hours. If He was buried right before sundown, He would have risen right before sundown during Sabbath on April 28th, 31 BC. 72 hours before then would place Him going into the tomb on the evening of Wednesday, the 25th. Now, many of you might say, "But he was placed in the tomb, right before Sabbath according to Luke 23:54 as it was Preparation Day. That has to mean He was crucified on a Friday since Sabbath was on Saturday!" NOT SO MY FRIENDS. Have you heard of Holy Day Sabbaths? In fact, on the first day of the of the Festival of Unleavened Bread (the day following Passover) is considered by God a Holy Sabbath! Meaning you could have 2 Sabbaths in one week (Lev 23:7). In fact, the original Greek text of Matthew 28:1 supports this, as the Greek states PLURAL SABBATHS. In English, they change it to singular. But the text should be translated to, "After the SABBATHS, at dawn, on the first day of the week..." This also fixes timeline inerrancies between the Gospels regarding the Passion week: - Mark 15:42 Jesus killed and buried on Preparation day on Wednesday April 25th - Mark 16:1 Sabbath Day Thursday April 26th - Mark 16:1 Women buy spices for Jesus' burial AFTER SABBATH on Friday April 27th - Luke 24:1 Women prepare the spices for anointing on Friday April 27th BEFORE 1st Day of week. Can't be Saturday as that is also a Sabbath and they're not allowed to buy or work - Matthew 28:1 Sabbath Day on Saturday April 28th, Evening of same day, after Sabbath ends, Jesus is risen - Mat 28:1, Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1 women go to the tomb after sunrise on Sunday April 28th, but while it was still dark - Mark 16:4, Lu 24:2-3, John 20:1 Women find stone already rolled away and body gone - John 20:17 Mary sees Jesus and told not to touch Him for He hasn't ascended to the Father - John 20:20, 27 Jesus invites the disciples to examine and touch Him Note, before sunrise on the 1st day, Mary is not allowed to touch because Jesus hasn't yet ascended to God. Yet that evening the disciples are allowed to touch. Why? That is answered in Leviticus 23:9-14. On the 1st day of the week, after Passover and Sabbath, the Priest is to wave before God in the temple a sheaf of the first grain harvested so it is accepted on behalf of the people. The people were not allowed to partake in or eat the harvest until the offering happens. That means, on the 1st day of the week, April 29th, as the priests were in the Temple waving the people's first fruit offerings before God, Jesus ascended to Heaven and presented Himself as the first fruit of the New Covenant before His Father. Then everyone can eat of the Harvest.
Great study Mike and thanks for your time. Once question around the 55 min mark you state there is still a unfulfilled part were there is a 3rd temple. Can you elaborate a bit and explain what was unfullfilled and were you might be getting the 3rd temple being built is? Again I know this is a old video but if you can clarify, I would appreciate it.
Same here, I would appreciate a clarification as I do not find a scriptural justification for a third temple and even find it contradictory to Jesus' death, being the ultimate atonement and sacrifice. We do not want to take away from this.
@@fitforfaith Third temple in order for the abomination of desolation to come and stop sacrifices. Meaning there has to be a place, for the Jews to make sacrifices (even thought they aren't a thing because of Christ, but you know, Jews today are still part of the prophecies to come...), and that place would be a Third Temple.
@@JustaLad01 Hi LD. A third temple would be implied by a futurist application of Mat 24:15. But Daniel's prophecy was sealed up until the end times (Dan 12:9). Our end times or past times of the end of the temple? Unequivocally past, because we are able to read Daniel's prophecy, contrary to e.g. the scroll of the thunder judgments in Rev 10:1-7, which we cannot yet read. Daniel 12:9 is the key: ... Daniel, for closed up and sealed are the words, until the time of the end" If God says that words are sealed, they are hidden from anyone except Daniel and Him. You and I can read Daniel, therefore the seal has been broken and the related events completed. Thomas
That was a really great explanation of the 70 weeks prophecy Mr Winger. The only significant problem that I heard was when in attempting to specify the exact year of Jesus' crucifixion you based the possibilities upon which years have Passover on a Friday. This is where your typically right understanding breaks down and here's why. It is according to RCC tradition (tradition of men) that Jesus was crucified on Friday and rose from the dead before Sunday morning. The problem is that this suggested timeline contradicts Jesus' own words about the only sign that would be given, that of Jonah. As Jonah was 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the fish, so Jesus body would lay 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the earth. Well, pre sunset Friday (remember Joseph of Aramethia) to predawn Sunday is NOT 3 days and 3 nights. I would provide the explanation of the clues of the correct timing for the crucifixion which is revealed by the activities of the disciples, particularly the women seeking to embalm Jesus body and the Sabbath days occurring throughout that last week if Jesus' life. One needs to understand that Sabbath days include not only the 7th day (Saturday) constituting the weekly Sabbath but also two other 'Sabvarhs' as well, those of the perscribed holy days of God (see Leviticus 23). The impending Sabbath (holy day) which impelled Joseph to hurry the burial of Jesus was the First day of Unleavened Bread, an holy day or annual Sabbath upon which no work could be done including the embalming of Jesus' body. Now given that Jesus was arisen by dawn of Sunday and WAS actually 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb, you need to look for what year under modern calenders has Passover on a Wednesday. That allows for correct understanding of those Sabbaths described in the Gospels and the fulfilment of Jesus' own sign of Jonah which He spoke. Your understanding of scripture is tainted by RCC and trickled down through the reformers false doctrine! Specifically the inconsistent with scripture and Jesus' words timing of 'Good Friday/Easter Sunday' doctrine. I suggest you look a little deeper into this brother.
@joemendiuk5683 You highlight some good points which I also have been mulling over. I'm wondering if Mike has addressed that in a newer teaching video?
Theres another support for the week being 7 years. In genesis 29 when Jacob serves 7 years for the daughters of Laban. When he marries Leah Laban says concerning Rachel fulfill her week also. (shevua- seven or a week).
Mike, thank you for this video. One of the things that Young Earth Creationists often say to me is that nowhere in the Bible are days and weeks used to mean anything other than actual days and weeks - and now I have a response to that assertion.
My discovery proves Anderson was wrong and what I found is more glorous to the LORD. HE placed a blood moon Tetrad over both Babylon and Jerusalem Passover eve Nisan 14th in 454 bc. That day at the 9th hour Nehemiah recieved the decree to goto Jerusalem to repair the streets and walls. 69 weeks later Messiah is cut off Nisan 14th on a midst of the week Passover ✝ in 31 ad. Not only did HE mark the day with the blood moon tetrad on Passover the following blood moon fell on the Feast of Trumpets beginning a second prophecy in Ezek. 4:1-5 390 year prophecy the same year 454 bc to Pompey's siege in 63bc. Ezek. 4:6,7 starts at the ✝️ending in a Titus "iron pan seige 40 years later in 70 ad. Iron the symbol for Roman beast empire. No confusing math equation nor inventing 360 day years. Verification: The HOLY SPIRIT caused me to wake every morning exactly at 454 am. Then when I was in the knook worhing on my book, my wife came in and announced the tim 4:54 pm. At that moment one pan hanging in or kitchen began to ring out several times. I've waiting for 10 years to finalize the book with more additions still revealed but I will soon finish, it's time.
I've been watching through this playlist on how God speaks and enjoying it very much. Learning so many new layers on top of what I've already known. But why does this is one video only have captions available in Greek??
Man awesome work brother! I pray God would bless you and keep you, through these perilous days and raging fire. I will see you when the father wills it ❤
Ill have to watch these to get the timelines - cause listening to these at work with my phone in my pocket makes some of this really difficult to follow. Not a slight against you, your doing a great job, I just need to see some of this to follow it.
Great explanation! The only thing I cannot follow is the specific date. Where does Nehemiah write which day he arrived in Jerusalem? I don't find it anywhere.
There won't be a third temple because the last temple was Jesus. Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will rebuild it in 3 days." He was speaking of his death and ressurection. The Israel in the last days won't be about the physical Israel but the Spiritual Israel, which can be anyone that accepted Jesus (the actual Temple).
That’s why the 490 years are symbolic ;) Daniel, Revelation, Ezekiel etc. are apocalyptic literature with many symbols and allegory. The decree was made by Cyrus around 538BC
Definitely not symbolic, Nehemiah talks about these two decrees from Artexerxes in his OT book. The first decree was in 457 BC but the prophecy begins at the second decree in 444 BC which gave permission to rebuild the walls around the city. In Daniel 9 we see that the decree must include the walls. And it's pretty freaking precise, the prophecy is fulfilled to the exact day that Jesus rode into the city as a King on a donkey. Gabriel's margin of error was 0.
@@thirdplace3973 How is it 444 bc and not 445 bc? I learned his 1st reignal year is 465 (whatever month) to 464 (whatever month). If I assume nisan falls on the later, then in his 20th month which is 446 (something month) to 445 (something month), nisan would be in 445. Btw I didn't watch the video. I am in exam in period. Will watch it later.
According to the text, the anointed one is cut off in the same year that the Temple is destroyed. Jesus was killed in 30 or 33, and the Temple was destroyed in 70. The year 30 corresponds to about 65 weeks. This is a misreading of the text.
Daniel 9 is a very difficult prophecy to explain. You made it easier for me to wrap my head around it. Thanks. It’s much easier guessing what your shirt will look like for the next episode. 😁 Short sleeve, button up, flip a coin, plaid or no plaid.
Im pointing this out for correction purposes. Around 41 min you are speaking of Genesis flood account. Its 2/17-7/17 is 5 months. You accidently say "2-17 to 5-17" which is 3 months
Great talk and I agree with the conclusions. But I found three errors: 1. You quote the NKJV translation "but not for Himself" for Daniel 9.26. But the NET translators' notes say "The KJV rendering 'but not for himself,' apparently suggesting a vicarious death, cannot be defended." 2. I can't find a source for Josephus saying rebuilding was complete in 396 BC, even though I checked that section of Antiquities of the Jews. 3. At 47:00 Winger says Nehemiah tells us the date when he arrives in Jerusalem, and counting back from that a few days gives us Nisan 1 as the start date. But I don't see any indication of when Nehemiah arrives in Jerusalem.
When it says that sacrifices stop,it isn't talking about a possible third temple being built- it's talking about Jesus's death and how it meant the end of the necessity of doing sacrifices
peace&love The sanctuary and the animal sacrifices were all designed to teach about Jesus’ future sacrifice for us. Once Jesus died, the sacrifices were no longer necessary. Jesus became the perfect lamb that fulfilled our penalty for sin. Once Jesus died there is now no longer any need for a temple or sacrifices. He’s already paid the penalty.
@@aerodave1 Hi! Thank you, it makes sense because, animal sacrifices are no longer needed. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. But, what's not connecting for me are a few things: 1. Daniel 9:27 said he will make a firm covenant for 1 week (7yrs). The new covenant that Jesus established is longer than 7 yrs. 2. If verse 27 is about Jesus' sacrifice then, what happened to the remaining 3.5 yrs? 3. Daniel 9:26 already mentions Jesus being cutoff before the 70th week is mentioned. Why mention Jesus dying after 62 or 69 weeks and then, mention him being cutoff again when explaining the 70th week? The 3rd temple theory connects more. The NEED for sacrifice ended long ago but the Jews who dont believe Jesus is Messiah dont know that. They still yearn for another temple. They've tried a few times in the past to rebuild it a 3rd time but, it wasnt successful. Maybe it just wasnt time yet. The future is still unfolding. We just need to wait and see.
@@torahobservantsda Exactly! The whole purpose of the Law and the Prophets was to point to Christ, God coming down and bringing Salvation, true Salvation that the Old Covenant could never bring. If we listen to dispensationalists, Daniel 9 gives more importance to the anti-Christ (verse 26 and 27). Only one sentence for the long-awaited Messiah: ' the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing', then, all the rest, which is rich in information, leaves out Messiah's actions to focus mainly on the anti-Christ?? Wake up brothers! You miss the whole point of Daniel 9, which isn't about our future but Isreal's destiny (Christ being the New Covenant with the House of Israel), about Christ fulfilling The Law and the Prophets, accomplishing the wonderlful things mentioned in verse 24 and putting and end to sacrifices and offerings once and for all. Think, please think about it.
@@mikef6063 Why connect the 42 months, 1260 days in Revelation 11:2-3 to Daniel 9? Is it just because they both happen to be 3-1/2 years? That is a very different prophecy. Daniel 9 is fine and complete simply referring to Messiah's coming and destruction of the 2nd temple. No need to overcomplicate it unnecessarily.
The decree of Artexeres in 457 BC is the correct one. It is the only one that leads to Jesus in 27 AD. The temple rebuilt is Jesus’s body. It is not a physical temple. Jesus said “destroy this temple and I will rebuild it”. He was talking about His body.
Chad It was the decree of Artexeres in 457 BC to finally rebuild the temple fully. All the other decrees were not a full rebuilding of a temple, they were orders to but never completed. Plus, everything adds up exactly if you start with 457. 457 plus 490 equals 27 AD when Jesus showed up on the scene and started His ministry. 444 doesn’t add up (444 plus 490 equals 14 AD which makes no sense). Hope this helps.
I noticed this too. I think Mike got this little detail wrong. Nehemiah does say he spoke to Artaxerxes in the month of Nisan on his 20th year (ch 2 v 1), but I don't see it narrowed down any more than that. Nehemiah does say that he was in Jerusalem for 3 days before surveying the damage (2-11) but he couldn't have been in Jerusalem during that same month. Susa is like 1000 miles from Jerusalem - it would have taken a month of travel at least. I don't think it invalidates the conclusion though. It may we'll have been early in the month of Nisan that the decree went out, which is the important part. Jesus's comment in Luke 19:44 about Jesusalem not knowing the time of his visitation is the strongest evidence for that day being the end of the countdown I think. That would fix the start of the countdown to March 5 444 BC to get to the same place.
According to Pastor David Middleton, Jesus fulfilled sixty nine and a half years of the prophecy, His ministry only being three and a half years long, and the last three and a half years will be at the end of the age that we read about in Revelation.
360 days didn't belong to the Babylonians. As he says in the video, this was the ancient calendar familiar to pretty much every major ancient nation until the 365 1/4 day calendar was created.
Really good videos, I am enjoying them greatly! Question: what is the title of the song and the name of the singer that always comes at the end? It is also very nice :-)
Thank you Steven! The song at the end is actually from me (Mike Winger). You can get it for $1 at this link. This is an original worship album I recorded years ago. mikewinger.bandcamp.com/
@@MikeWinger The 3rd temple is already here and Daniel is not talking about a physical temple in so called modern day "Israel". The 3rd temple is spiritual in nature with Christ at the cornerstone of the new Messianic temple. No more physical temples in Jerusalem will be built. The true Israel today is the church and church is Israel. Modern day Israel in the middle east has got nothing to do with Old Covenant Israel.
@mike winger thanks for this it’s truly fascinating another resource I recommend is Daniel’s 70 Weeks by Derek Walker he is a mathematician from Oxford university now a pastor he explains the maths really in depth and also for the Seven Times of the Gentiles thanks for your teaching
The sanctuary and the animal sacrifices were all designed to teach about Jesus’ future sacrifice for us. Once Jesus died, the sacrifices were no longer necessary. Jesus became the perfect lamb that fulfilled our penalty for sin. Once Jesus died there is now no longer any need for a temple or sacrifices. He’s already paid the penalty. So no need for a future temple to be built.
There will be two more temples built, actually. One that John is told to measure in the tribulation period, and one that Ezekiel gives the measurements of that will be in the Millennial Kingdom. Their measurements are given in scripture.
@@thirdplace3973 There will be no temple built in any tribulation period because there is no such thing in the bible. There are the 7 plagues but no 7 year tribulation period. Also, there will be no temple built during the millennium because no one will be on the Earth during this time. The Earth is utterly destroyed at the brightness of Christ's coming. No one will be in the Earth during the millennium. Jesus was the last temple to be rebuilt
@@thirdplace3973 You might be talking about the city of New Jerusalem that comes down AFTER the millennium, but there is NO temple built during the millennium on Earth. At least the bible doesn't say so.
@@aerodave1 This is clearly false. John was told to measure the tribulation temple, and he did. Ezekiel gives the exact measurements for the millennial temple in Ezekiel 40-48. If your Eschatology has you allegorizing scripture so brutally to the point it denies other scripture you need to change your Eschatology.
9:36 the verse originally says that in the middle of the 70th week he shall put end to sacrifice (through his own sacrifice), and during the week confirm the covenant with many. Someone explained that this means after 3,5 years of Jesus' public mission. Then why is the week cut in 2 halves? -There is >2000 "covenant confirming years" for us gentiles, before the clock starts again for Isabel and they finally accept their Messiah.
Hi Mike, I first saw you with David Woods this year. I agree with others that the time just seems to pass. Your treatment of the subject matter was scholarly, erudite, and timely. However, I know you must be aware that some experts take issue with the translation "Prince Messiah" and depending on the Bible version the Hebrew is translated differently. Can you explain why you prefer this translation?
I haven't come across anything that explains so plainly Daniels the 69 weeks as this. When you explain the length of a year it adds up. "I am a clumsy christian trying to help."
Your point about the 150 days is interesting, but note that in our calendar the distance between specifically 2/17 and 7/17 is 150 days as well (what saves your position, however, is that the Jewish 2nd month is probably not February, but every consecutive 5 month sequence that contains February is 150 days (not including leap year))
Can somebody help me locate the date of Nehemiah's arrival in the bible? Mkke says "Nisan 4" but i cant seem to find that anywhere. Where is he getting this information from?
People often don't realize that this is a miracle in itself. Think about this: what would happen if you took a donkey which had never been ridden and put clothing on its back and in the road in front of it, then you place a rider on its back and wave branches in the air around the donkey and sing and shout???? I've been around donkeys, and I can tell you it's a miracle that the animal allowed all this without panic.
Jesus came and said "Behold, the time will be fulfilled in 2000 plus years, give or take a few decades, whatever." He said the time IS fulfilled. The 70 weeks are past, not future! Mark 1:14-15 KJV Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, [15] And saying, *The time is fulfilled,* and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
I don't understand... the book you recommended (the coming prince) sets the date of the decree as 445 bC, march 14th and Jesus entry in Jerusalem as 6th april A.D 32
You did good and I eventually got it. You know probably when you went over that there were a couple times when you slipped during 'math'. At around 41:30 you inadvertently said from 2/17 to 5/17 is five months. Clearly you meant to say 2/17 to 7/17 but tiny slip ups equal big time confusion. You da man though and I am grateful for your work.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of his body. 22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Galatians 4 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. 8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. 9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? 10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. 11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. 12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
Cool comment. But no declaration of the barrier around the city from Cyrus there, which is specifically mentioned in Daniel 9:25 "with plaza AND moat," the lack of which troubled Nehemiah. So it seems the Artaxerxes decree fits Daniel a bit better with regards to the city barrier.
@@Wesstuntube ya if you’re a dispensationalist. The text in Daniel is not a literal 490 years but the Severn seventies is symbolic. The point of the passage is to point to the Messiah and His death burial and resurrection. To try and focus on when exactly the Messiah was cut off is to miss the point of the passage. Dispensationalists focus too much on the literal and place the last week in the future when it says the messiah will fulfill these things IN the seventieth week. We don’t try to fit the 490 “literal” years into Daniel, that’s eisegesis. We need to read Daniel in light if it’s context and draw out from the passage(exegesis). No need to focus so much on when the decree was made. Daniels prayer was answered almost immediately with Cyrus taking over and decreeing the rebuilding of the temple and the city. Why would Gabriel tell Daniel that the decree would be 100 years or so after the 70 years of exile are coming to and end?
Christians have a lot of responsibility in Jewish people rejecting the Messiah. They do so by ignoring basic commandments like the Sabbath, (4th commandment}, dietary commandments and honoring Gods holy days, like Passover, Sukkot and Day of Atonement. If all Christians observed these basic principles and had more respect for Jewish observance like Paul talks about in the book of Romans, Jews would respect and be willing to hear from Christians more about the Messiah. Don't forget, part of the reason they don't see is that you could see, again read the book of Romans. This is the main focus of the entire letter.
Thank God for the Chosen People. The blindness that came upon Israel for our sake. Romans 11:25. Paul made this very clear but it isn't acknowledged that much.
I really love this channel. Only this explanation about 7 and 7 weeks I cannot find in the Bible. Lets read in Ezekiel 4:6 KJV 6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. Daniel 9 is about a time line prophecy. The called 70 weeks are meant prophetically. The one day- one year principle is also found in Numbers 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. In both verses we see that one prophetic day stands for 1 literal year. This means that from the moment of the command to rebuilt Jerusalem there will be (70 weeks x 7 = 490 years). When was there in history a command to rebuilt Jerusalem again? We can also read that in the Bible. History teaches us about the command in 457 BC from Artaxerxes.
The command was issued in 454 bc to repair the streets and walls. Daniel 9:24-27 is linked to a blood moon tetrad over Jerusalem and Babylon with all 4 blood moons landing on Jewish Feast days. My gifts are in numbers in the bible and signs in the heavens. The 390 day prophecy also began with the same blood moon tetrad. Doing time lies are tricky and need great insight with the calculations. The Ezek. 4 prophecy came to me in the bathtub. My wife came in the room and I said Rome. She said Rome what? I answered iron in Daniel symbolise Rome and the pan is the wall of Roman shields surrounding Jerusalem in seige. 390 years from 454 bc end in the seige of Pompey in 63 bc. 454 bc Nissian 14th is exactly to the day and hour 483 years after JESUS surrendered HIS spirit to the FATHER in 31 ad. Ezek. 4:6 is after Resurrection Sunday in 31 ad ending 40 years later in 70 ad with the iron pan seige of the prince Titus. 457 is an SDA year picked because it fit 1844 and the false Investigative Judgment.
That hour flew by! And I must have paused ten times to get all my notes written down! My spirit is full! God's word is energizing, life-giving! Thanks Mike. I will be sharing this with my friends!

Uhhhh how can i possibly forgive one thing 70 times seven only through Christ
@@IrrelevantIrrelevant-s8v the question was actually “how often can my brother sin against me and I forgive him?” It is not forgiving one past deed over and over.
What are you getting at? I am curious?
@@peterhefford8138 So great to hear, Peter! And thank you so much for the response; I couldn’t have prayed for a better outcome for you. I completely understand what you mean by having been ‘missing something’ before. Though, I did have struggles, I wouldn’t say I was depressed as I had maintained hope even before I came back to Christ and began a personal relationship w/ Him. Yet, I had that same exact revelation, myself. After having survived various traumatic situations at various points in my life- the most damaging and likely what had set my life course for a time being the trauma I was immersed in during my developmental years.
Therefore, it had always felt as though I was trying to escape something. That I was always trying to ‘fix’ whatever aspect of myself or my behavior kept getting me in relationships that were so unhealthy for me. You see, my mom was my abuser in my young childhood. Then, I become stuck under her thumb & isolated by her in very early adulthood once more & then, a very close friend became my final abuser before I fell now I’ve finally finally broken away & have healed well enough to set healthy boundaries.
Anyway- I could go on forever just from that point on regarding my testimony but I’ll be quick.
As I’d always gotten ‘better & better’ & made it ‘further & further’ or ‘longer & longer’ & then in the end, it was a person that had green a brother to me for 6 years who turned so evil against me… there i was, thinking I was the common denominator and so it had to be me. Or it had to be meant to be. I used to think God was punishing me for all the wrongs in my life. After all, I did act out terribly in adolescence & ISO I blamed myself for not only what my behavior brought down on me but the ways I’d been mistreated as well.
So the final tear down was after years of what I thought was happiness & stability. I had been a young single mother but at that point, I thought I’d ‘won the race’ to become an independent & stable mother before they’d be old enough to remember such stuggles.
As the perfect storm of business & personal tragedy came together to know me off my block where I’d really thought I’d been doing everything ‘right’ finally, I found myself laying on my bedroom floor and staring up at my ceiling, thinking over & over, “what am I missing?? What am I missing? I didn’t do anything ‘wrong’ by any body, I respected myself, showed absolute integrity & honor…why, and how, did I fall so so far & so hard again?”
It was as though it was so obvious that when it came to me, I kinda laughed at myself a bit, through the tears that had been silently standing down my face.
I was missing God! I was missing Christ in my life! Sure, I’d never NOT believed in Him. And oddly, I feel I needed to somehow ‘be better’ to present myself to Him (as though He’s not omnipresent & all lol). However, I never welcomed Him into my life and laid myself out in sorrow bc & repentance for my ways, begging He have mercy on me.
And so now- even on my most difficult days, I, too, have that ‘something extra’ that makes happiness fuller & despair survivable.
God Bless, my brother in Christ
{btw- after that I began studying apologetics as I worried about the denomination aspect. I believe I’m basically solo scriptura w/ a healthy respect for old traditions & ensure I research the origins of them to understand their true meaning…ie- Xmas actually isn’t a celebration of capitalism! 😉
I’m just mentioning it as bc I was so shocked and saddened by the extra & even anti-biblical practices that are so prevalent in the organization of churches and they will poison the the Body of Christ, the true & only church made up of all believers.
My family is Catholic & though many many good Catholics exist, Catholicism itself has some really really bad doctrines & it breaks my heart.}
I may be completely wrong... its all new and I'm still learning.
So happy for you that your life has turned round. Keep God close to your heart, and bath in his love for you. Be Strong, Be Good, Be Happy.

It is only for Isreal, the 70 weeks. The clock stop during the church era and start again after rapture and deals again with Israel again

I listened to a lot of Jon Courson's videos on Revelation. Learned it from him, but it perfectly make sense. Daniel's prophesy and visions is only about Israel.
an indefinite time gap between the 69th and 70th week is definitely just unfalsifiability. and it undermine's mike's "this prophecy is so great because it has a time limit"
another bad time gap is the 37 years between the anointed cut off and the temple destroyed which you would absolutely not take away from reading verse 26 and are not trying to force it on to the Jesus timeline. if you have to allow 37 unaccounted for years in the middle of a verse and then an undetermined amount of time between the 69th and 70th week of a "time specific" prophecy, you're pretty much done here

This dispensationalist view of Daniel/Revelation makes the most sense in the light of history and current events.
Are you 63?
Of course it's the dispensation of the time of the Gentiles\Grace. After the church is removed the 70th week will begin.

The Dispensational view is a new view that came from a fictional book. The Left Behind series of fictional books. It is not from the Bible.

I'm not among the foolish virgins, l'm in the field one taken the other remain, two grinding at the mill one taken the other remain and no way possible me am I in bed with another man taken or not. If the good man had watched for MY coming like a thief in the night his house wouldn't have been broken up. You don't believe in the WORD, you will suffer a martyrs death after a little seadon aka 70th week; Rev. 6:11. If you didn't notice some are in heaven getting wedding garments while others like yourself need to die in the little season. Look for me when HE returns in all his glory with all HIS saints in tow; Zech. 14:5, Jude 14. HIS feet will touch down on the Mt . Of Olives I'll after the wedding in heaven.
That means He spent the 25th, 26th, and 27th nights in the grave, and rose after 72 hours like the Bible states:
- Luke 24:7 Arise ON 3rd day
- Matthew 12:40 3 days AND nights in tomb
- Matthew 27:62-66 Tomb secured UNTIL the 3rd DAY
- John 2:19-21 Jesus to raise His body in 3 days
- Mark 8:31/9:31 Jesus teaches He will rise both AFTER 3rd day and ON 3rd day
- John 11:9-10 Jesus says daylight has 12 hours
If daylight(day) is 12 hours, then Day and Night must be 24 hours.
That has to mean He was crucified on a Friday since Sabbath was on Saturday!"
NOT SO MY FRIENDS. But the text should be translated to, "After the SABBATHS, at dawn, on the first day of the week..."
This also fixes timeline inerrancies between the Gospels regarding the Passion week:
- Mark 15:42 Jesus killed and buried on Preparation day on Wednesday April 25th
- Mark 16:1 Sabbath Day Thursday April 26th
- Mark 16:1 Women buy spices for Jesus' burial AFTER SABBATH on Friday April 27th
- Luke 24:1 Women prepare the spices for anointing on Friday April 27th BEFORE 1st Day of week. Can't be Saturday as that is also a Sabbath and they're not allowed to buy or work
- Matthew 28:1 Sabbath Day on Saturday April 28th, Evening of same day, after Sabbath ends, Jesus is risen
- Mat 28:1, Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1 women go to the tomb after sunrise on Sunday April 28th, but while it was still dark
- Mark 16:4, Lu 24:2-3, John 20:1 Women find stone already rolled away and body gone
- John 20:17 Mary sees Jesus and told not to touch Him for He hasn't ascended to the Father
- John 20:20, 27 Jesus invites the disciples to examine and touch Him
Note, before sunrise on the 1st day, Mary is not allowed to touch because Jesus hasn't yet ascended to God.
Hi Mike: I thank God for for your wonderful online ministry.
Daniel 12:9 is the key:
... Daniel, for closed up and sealed are the words, until the time of the end" If God says that words are sealed, they are hidden from anyone except Daniel and Him. You and I can read Daniel, therefore the seal has been broken and the related events completed. Thomas
One of the main reasons I don’t just have faith, but I believe because it is reasonable to do so. Praise Him: Come quickly, Yeshua Hamashiach.
blessed by this study 7 years later!! thank you!
Thanks 🙏 Memories of my Dad Keith Bradshaw did this (Revelation and Daniel) When I was between ages 9-10 years old) thanks and Blessed be Messiah.
I'm wondering if Mike has addressed that in a newer teaching video?
sir Robert Anderson’s chronology is from Nisan 445 b.c. to Nisan 32 a.d.
This prophecy was fully covered by The Coming Prince by Sir Robert Anderson! This is available free on the internet. Chapters 7-10.
Incredible… thank you for your work !!
Man awesome work brother! I pray God would bless you and keep you, through these perilous days and raging fire. I will see you when the father wills it ❤
Let the Church of God explains this all about since the Gifts of Prophesy was given to this church amen.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will rebuild it in 3 days."
He was speaking of his death and ressurection.
The Israel in the last days won't be about the physical Israel but the Spiritual Israel, which can be anyone that accepted Jesus (the actual Temple).
Revelation specifically says the anti-Christ will desolate the temple. So there has to be a physical third temple.
thank you for that great study could you tell me were it says that the temple was completed in 396 BC i cant seem to find that anywehr ??
If I am not mistaken I believe he may have said “Josephus” the historian. I may be wrong as I am not sure exactly which point you are speaking about
Thank you so so much Pastor Mike.
Mike, a question I've always had. Which historical sources do you find those dates 444 BC, 457 BC etc?
There is no correct historical dates. The dates range 10 years depending on the scholar.
@@adamcarpenter1869 Did you even watch the video?

How is it 444 bc and not 445 bc?
Yes, 26/27AD Jesus is Baptized by John. The beginning of the 70th week!
LOL. You won't believe the Glory in the truth if you discovered it yourself.
Im pointing this out for correction purposes. Around 41 min you are speaking of Genesis flood account. Its 2/17-7/17 is 5 months. You accidently say "2-17 to 5-17" which is 3 months
Any recommendations for a book of Daniel commentary?
Thank you! I said the exact same thing..... this is amazing!
Great talk and I agree with the conclusions. But I found three errors:
1. You quote the NKJV translation "but not for Himself" for Daniel 9.26. But the NET translators' notes say "The KJV rendering 'but not for himself,' apparently suggesting a vicarious death, cannot be defended."
SO GOOD! I've never "got it" on this level. WOW! Thank you 🙌
When it says that sacrifices stop,it isn't talking about a possible third temple being built- it's talking about Jesus's death and how it meant the end of the necessity of doing sacrifices
Hi, can you please explain this further? Thank you!
peace&love The sanctuary and the animal sacrifices were all designed to teach about Jesus’ future sacrifice for us.
@Joel Fernandez
100% correct. The week in 9;:27 is passion week.
Is 70 weeks means 490 days? I don’t understand. Could you explain more to me?
Thank You Mike. May God bless you abundantly.
Thankyou for just the facts ! As many do you don't drift in and out of you're teaching but stay on the intended message !
Where does it say that nehemiah arrived a the fourth day of nisan?
Is there a link to a video about 70th week in detailed analysis by Mike?
The 70th week happened right after the 69th. Where did the Gap come from? Only by conjecture can you put a gap.
No, because the 6 events required in 9:24 haven’t yet occurred
@@mikef6063 That's exactly an "argument from saving an apparently failed prophecy." NOTHING ELSE makes us think that there should be a gap in there.
@@mikef6063 The whole prophecy relates to the Israelites and the first coming of Christ as Messiah.
He was talking about His body.
aerodave1 How did you determine that it took place in 457 BC? Don’t most people say it took place in 444BC?
Chad It was the decree of Artexeres in 457 BC to finally rebuild the temple fully. All the other decrees were not a full rebuilding of a temple, they were orders to but never completed. Plus, everything adds up exactly if you start with 457. 457 plus 490 equals 27 AD when Jesus showed up on the scene and started His ministry. 444 doesn’t add up (444 plus 490 equals 14 AD which makes no sense). Hope this helps.
Jesus is the only way we can get back into the glory of God.
Wonderful sermon teacher 👍
Hi Mike, at 47:10 you say that Nehemiah tells us he is in Jerusalem on Nisan 4. I can't find that in the text. Do you have the reference?
Is there a way to get this ppt
I learned at school with trigonometrics that the 360 degrees system was based on the 360 days in a year by the babylonians. Makes sense.
360 days didn't belong to the Babylonians. As he says in the video, this was the ancient calendar familiar to pretty much every major ancient nation until the 365 1/4 day calendar was created.
The Wayist to be exact the Mesopotamians started with the 365 days. Babylonians were famous astrologists and astronomists better than the sumerians.

The 3rd temple is already here and Daniel is not talking about a physical temple in so called modern day "Israel". The 3rd temple is spiritual in nature with Christ at the cornerstone of the new Messianic temple. No more physical temples in Jerusalem will be built. The true Israel today is the church and church is Israel. Modern day Israel in the middle east has got nothing to do with Old Covenant Israel.

Can you explain why you prefer this translation?
Beautiful prayer at the end Brother Mike
List the scripture that foretells of a third temple being built please.
Thessalonians by Paul speaks of antichrist in the temple.

Jesus came to Jerusalem on my birthday, how cool is that?
Hey Mike, why do some translations say not “not for himself” but rather “he shall have nothing”?
"Not for himself" is a mistranslation in the KJV. Mike is using the NKJV, which preserves that mistranslation for the sake of tradition.
Can somebody help me locate the date of Nehemiah's arrival in the bible? Mkke says "Nisan 4" but i cant seem to find that anywhere. Where is he getting this information from?

Hi Mike. Why is the Bible referring to Jesus as Messiah "the Prince"? And not Messiah the King?
People often don't realize that this is a miracle in itself. Think about this: what would happen if you took a donkey which had never been ridden and put clothing on its back and in the road in front of it, then you place a rider on its back and wave branches in the air around the donkey and sing and shout???? I've been around donkeys, and I can tell you it's a miracle that the animal allowed all this without panic.
Hey Mike Winger, why don't you answer Exousia2002 comment. But you answered the others.
Jesus came and said "Behold, the time will be fulfilled in 2000 plus years, give or take a few decades, whatever."
He said the time IS fulfilled. The 70 weeks are past, not future!
Mark 1:14-15 KJV
Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
[15] And saying, *The time is fulfilled,* and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

It had a great and lofty wall and had 12 gates with 12 angels at the gates, and on the gates were inscribed the names of the 12 tribes of the sons of Israel. On the east were three gates, and on the north three gates, and on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. 14 The wall of the city also had 12 foundation stones, and on them were the 12 names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb.
Revelation 21:22-24
I did not see a temple in it, for Jehovah God the Almighty is its temple, also the Lamb is. And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp was the Lamb. And the nations will walk by means of its ligh..
We are the living stones!
"But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober."
1 Thessalonians 5:2-6,KJV
Amos 5:18
“Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.”
Matt. 28
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Acts 7:51
“Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.”
John 14.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Luke 1:35, KJV: And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God
Acts 1:11
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
1 Corinthians 3:16
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
John 4:24
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
2 Corinthians 6:
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Galatians 4 4
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
The best commentary on this is the book " The Coming Prince " by Sir Robert Anderson. A classic !!!
Jesus said destroy "this" Temple and l will raise it up again.
And He did, 3 1/2 days later.
He forgot to mention Isaiah 44:28 where it says Cyrus will decree the city to be rebuilt and the foundations of the temple to be laid.
Jews are free to continue following the law.
Wildfire is better than no fire at all..lol. I like this style of ministry! GOD BLESS THIS MAN IN JESUS NAME! AMEN 🙏 🙏 🙏 😇😇❤
According to Walter Martin, 457 B.C. is an unimpeachable date confirmed by Cyrus Cylinder.
Not getting how the timeline tie up with current date....
