@@Folskyfied i just think they're too dependent on genetics and the effort i would put in wouldnt worth the outcome also i bicycle semi regularly so i dont want my leg days to be too intense

Also RDLs can be good for developing the hamstrings functionally, which is helpful for jiu jitsu and certain kicks

I like the idea of training like an athlete with athletic movements. I always try to do them first and do accessories last.
Bro, I agree 💯. I start with lunges and side lunges for warmup, the heavy barbell squats for low reps, then finish with barbell hip thrusts. I don't care about calves 😂.
Standing hip thrust is much better helps in everything even makes bedroom cardio much easier

Small calves are the biggest blessing. I have small calves, and I can easily change direction in basketball, and when I pitch, I can genrate force quickly, which allows me to throw 70-73 mph on my fastball ( I'm 14)
Exactly, people talking about how small calves are better; nobody is saying you need to have humoungous calves. Just train them a bit, even just a bit, and you’ll be getting more results.

Don’t forget to isolate hamstrings, adductors and tibs for athleticism, as well as plyometrics

I can tell you that doing one legged squats definitely makes you more explosive, I’ve started to incorporate them into my leg day and I’ve definitely felt a lot more power through my legs

I agree with you on including hard athletic exercises in your workouts but I also think that movements like the hack squat are great for when you have beaten your body close to failure on hard athletic movements and allow you to get even more training in

True i used to do to many squats...yes my legs got a bit bigger and way stronger than before but there was a huge muscular imbalance between the two and i just found out that bulgarian squat can make your legs very strong too

Starting with single leg movement and then moving to double leg moment....literally how you create imbalances lol
Agreed I would switch and start with the heavy Barbell squat and then do the split squats. A good way to fix or work imbalances is to focus on them in your warm up

OHP (or Bench Press). Followed by dumbbell bench or incline press. Followed by triceps.
Deadlift. Then pendlay rows. Then pull ups/chin ups. Maybe some face Pulls for shoulder health.
He would probably disagree with some of that because he thinks that every single exercise has to be done standing. Also, I'm not even sure if deadlift is supposed to go into leg day or pull day (I just do upper/lower myself).
