Why are rear delts trained by many or more people on pull day? Atm I train them on push day (with reverse pec Dec but I’m probably going to have to do smth else at uni since I won’t have access to that). I see why it would be done on pull day since it’s on the back of you, it’s a pulling muscle and not a pushing one and it pairs more with the upper back than the chest. So why am I asking this? I’m not sure if I should be doing rear delts on pull day or push day. Why? Because chest, shoulders and triceps are push day. Rear delts are the back of the shoulder. And you’re kind of just splitting up part of one muscle group by doing them on a different day. Please explain.
@@bobdarrick2628 they do that bc the rear delts are worked on all pulling movement that’s why you can do them on push days especially before a lift bc it can help with stability
Thx man, so many exercises that I forgot when I use to work out last year, been grinding again for past 2 months and this will help a lot as Shoulders is my favourite thing to work on

Your front and rear delts heads are hit plentily well during your chest pushing days and back pulling days. So basically, when you train shoulders you really just have to mainly focus on hitting that medial head and bring it up to speed with the other 2 little guys. 😂 just do plenty of side laterals and shoulder press with variations. You can throw in a 1-3 sets for your front or ear if you wish, but medial head is the one you want to focus most on
Nah not the case for the rear delt. Front delt, yes, because it’s trained plenty in push. But there was a study that showed most male gym-goers rear delts were the least developed out of all 3 heads. You really should be doing at least 8 sets/week of rear delt isolation or more if you’re really lacking.
@@cagecunningham6316 yeah, you should still work all 3 heads on shoulder days. But I’m just saying the majority of the workload should be for the medial head. Definitely should still hit rear delts and front delts a bit
Incorrect. For a fully developed shoulder muscle group, you need to also isolate the front delt. Saying you get enough front delt activation when you bench press is a myth.
I’ve never been more happy with a how to video. Literally answered everything I wanted to know. This was the first and only video I watched/needed to watch on the subject. Thanks bro
Can definitely feel the burn with this one, I’ll be sure to check out more of your vids, few months into working out I can see progress but with this channel here can definitely see more progress
Thanks for this. To the point and gives me 3 new exercises to do. As it stands now I'm new to working out. So i really only do the basics. Mondays are bicep curls with dumbbells, tricep pull downs with cable machine, bench press with dumbbells, and lat pull downs with cable machine. Tuesdays are goblet squats with dumbbells, calf raises with dumbbells, ab roller, and shoulder shrugs with dumbbells. I have been taking Wednesdays off. Thursday is a repeat of Monday, and Friday is a repeat of Tuesday. I always do a 10 minute run on the treadmill at 6.5 speed to start. With this I think I will work Wednesdays in as well to do shoulders. Advice is welcome.
It is really hard for me to join a gym because the only one in my area you have to be 13 to join and I just turned 12 march 1st so I’m limited to only dumbbells and a sit-up bench that I try to use as a normal bench but it is hard I want to know if there is any equipment that I could build rather than buying
Your videos are the most helpful from the countless gym tips videos I've encountered in all social media, thank you very much for these amazing and simply explained tips ..

Thanks for the wo. I started last week following your workouts and I'm starting to feel better about my body. I used to be bullied cause of my weight and now I am the one who bullies the bullies for bullying others about their weight and body size. Thanks max and I wuv u😍
Guys, do this!!! These actually work!!! I been wasting my time using the shoulder press for a year now and i got literally almost no gains… but the moment i started doing lateral raises my shoulders blew up like crazy!!!… now i cant stop doing them!!!! I want those big wide shoulders
Don't forget the traps! Ik they're not part of the shoulder but they help develop the shoulder as well like doing side raises actually build the traps as well.
thx man, its really great to see the muscles in different colors
No problem, I’m glad it helps 😁

This guys vids are crazy informative but so simply put together

Overhead presses are lot better than front raises in my opinion, for the front delts
U r killing it man ♂️
Thanks for this I was completely in dark on delts
Easy to understand and to apply. Good short
extended kickbacks with barbell is Motherfricking, game and franchise changing for rear delts, posture a little weird but the best flex i can achieve
Thank you so much for explaining & showing us!!! It's a big help!!
This is so, so helpful! Thank you for making these vids! Is there a playlist where I can see all the muscle groups ?
you can also use resistance bands for middle delt exercises if you dont have strong shoulder starting out.
also me that made full workout program out of these videos and finally know what i should do and what i shouldnt :D Tysm it helped me alot
Short and simple video...nailed it!
Thanks for the tips. I’ve been trying to grow the rear side of my shoulders but I didn’t know how.
Wow. You nicely explained it, showed the right technique and keep it very short. Keep up the good work.

The front head also works a lot on press movements and is often overdevelopped when compared to the other 2.

you made this so quick and easy, thank you
thanks king.
Okay. I have watched these shorts a thousand times but never subscribed.. that ends today.
The occasional front lat exercise is ok. Just don't train it often, because it's already being heavily trained from pushups, bench, dips, etc.
Thanks, good advice
This is really helpful, I’ve been looking for ways to strengthen my shoulders for pole vault
Thanks a lot I'm just a beginner ❤
Very helpful video thanks a lot
Yo bro, awesome video, no blah, blah, blah, here it is, this is this, that is that. Thanks ,gotta watch other people talk for 20 min for the same info
Bench press also uses a lot of front delts. That's why most people have really good front delts, but bad rear delts
Overhead presses underrated.
Thanks man, I desperately need to build shoulders.
Finally, a channel I can get behind!
Thank you for this, these have worked great for my shoulders
This is gonna help me
Been getting back to working out after being out of rugby for a while, these vids are fuckin awesome. Keep it up my guy
A v good tip id like to add is to train front and side delt on push days and rear delt on pull days.
If u could do a vid for legs that would be amazing
Great video bro!!!
Go for barbell rows and shoulderpress if you don't have the time.
Thanks man this workout hit different
Thank you! I’m 6 months into my fitness journey but I’m still learning.
My new favorite channel
I only do ohp with both a barbell and dumbells, and facepulls.
you’re the man
Surfing also works rear delts
Thanks man appreciate that 😊
Barbell rows don't activate rear delt, front delt is highly activated during bench press
Thanks, ill try some rn

Damn that's actually a nice informative video. Thanks!
He's very helpful
Mine is essentially
Barbell Row for Rear delt
And Overhead Press for front and middle(idk actually if it hits middle)
that rear dealt tho
Great tips. Thankyou.
can you do a video on a full body workout that someone can do with only dumbbells and a bench?
Thanks answered all my questions ! 😎👍
Awesome straight to the point, thx!
Thx alot man I never known how to work out my shoulders
Explained clearly! Thanksss
Thank you man
How many days do you take rest for your recovery?????????????????????
Also bench presses work your front delts, this applies to both dumbbell presses and barbell presses along with incline and flat presses
Life saver video🗣️
You made it easy thanks
My guy was hitting the griddy
Helped a lot thank ya.
Nice explanation 😊
That rear delt is crazy
Thank you 💪
Upright rows for medial delts are underrated
Huge fan of this man ♂️... Could anyone tell how much kg of dumbbell does he lifts in this video ..????
Thanks man u explained it well.✌️
Would recommend mostly doing middle and rear felt exercises since front get targeted in every exercise that moves forward like bench press for example
Can you do the rear dealt exercise tutorial PLZ
