Story Time! I was born in Pensacola in January ‘88. In November ‘87 my mom was working night shifts at a nursing home in Gulf Breeze. One night, she heard one of the residents screaming and hollering. She ran to the room and found that the frail older man had somehow pushed his dresser and other room furniture against the door. My mom struggled but finally got in. The man was losing it, panicked, and told my mom that he noticed a bright light/beam coming from the field outside his window. It was so bright it lit up his room. That’s when, he said, a “little man” walked through one wall and out another. My mom and the other staff didn’t know what to make of it- he had seemed to have “all his marbles.” They sent him to the hospital to be evaluated and he came back the next day. No mental or physical health concerns that could’ve caused hallucinations, delusions, etc. A week or two AFTER this incident, the first newspaper article was published about Ed Walters’ UFO sightings in Gulf Breeze. My mom, who’s now 70, still remembers this like it was yesterday.

During the months when all these sightings were happing . I was doing construction work just a few miles away from where the famous "on the road" photo was taken. I personally didn't see any of the crafts that lots and lots of people were seeing, but my wife of 7 years and a friend of hers saw one just before dark , she said it was just above the tops of the trees, and almost flew over their truck. I asked her what it looked like, and she said that it looked just like the pics in the paper. I believe that Ed's pictures are real. There was just too many people seeing the same looking craft for months, during that time. What you never hear about, is Santa Rosa county is the Heart of the Bible Belt, and we had more than our fair share of religious extremist that did everything they could think of, to bash Ed Walters name and reputation . And that's a fact !
Why are religious extremists so bent on discrediting anything not within their belief system? Is it fear? Seems to me if you can believe walking on water,turning water into wine and resurrection then surely you should be open to the possibility of life beyond our planet.
I just want to say that I don't normally care for documentaries... But this was so well done! Honestly, this type of work felt so right for you. Can't wait for you to do more of these!
I lived in Gulf Breeze from 1980-1991 and I can still remember all kinds of stories. The one that stood out were the crop circles at Gulf Breeze high. Also, on Soundside Drive in 2014 I was going to the Methodist Church on the corner of Southside Drive and Highway 98. It was Christmas Eve 2014 we had an evening service I went outside of the church which had hundreds of people attending I looked up in the sky and I saw the biggest brightest light out over trees. It was so amazing but I immediately felt my knees and began crying.

I grew up in gulf breeze and most definitely witness numerous ufo sightings. Interesting to note- gulf breeze is a small town surrounded by three military bases and right by an air force special operations command. I’ve always believed it could be top secret military testing being conducted.
My mother was always a "I'll believe it when I see it" type of person in regards to the paranormal, ufos, etc.. She was also the type of person to take her teenage daughter across the 3 mile bridge, armed with a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, in the middle of the night to try and see the ufos. Thank you for bringing back a fond memory.

Glad you made this. It was late Nov. early Dec, Gulf Breeze, and there was a full school bus at 1am that witnessed their first UFO. It lasted around a minute and at 16 I no longer wondered if UFO's existed.
Amazingly well done. As a collector and lover of rare relics, the fact that you hunted down the original model was so freaking cool. And the lengths you went to to cover the story from every angle, tracking down people to talk to, recreating photos, even trying to contact UFOs yourself. Amazing work. Lots of documentaries feel incomplete but this feels definitive. I know you weren't sure how well this video would do but everyone loves a good documentary! I know it's convenient this happened in your area but I hope you do more in the future maybe in other places :) In short - cool video, do bigfoot next lol
I read the original book, in the late 80's, Ed had so much photographic evidence, & documentation, i did believe he actually had these experiences! I have had my own sightings in the mid 70's.
I was living in south Alabama at the time when all this was going on. One night / early morning in the middle of the country I saw something. Can't say I saw a UFO , but I did see the brightest light I ever saw , with no way to explain how it came to be there .
I live in South Alabama and am nervous about saying this, but I saw a couple of weird things also. One time in the evening I saw something flying from South to North and it looked like a small light like an airplane but it wasn't blinking like an airplane would do. It went into a cloud but didn't come out of the cloud. Not very exciting but one of those things that make you scratch your head. Another time more recently was another night I heard helicopters which isn't unusual but it sounded a bit loud so I went outside and saw 2 helicopters spaced apart but flying low. Also flying south to North. The first one had a white light on the front of it and the helicopter in back had a red light on the front. When I looked in between the two helicopters a little bit to the east of them there was an orange colored ball shaped something going north about the same speed. It's like they were following it. Very odd.
@@carries.9919 That night I driving on my way from Mobile to Citronelle , I don't what that light was , but it was like somebody dropped Denny Bryant in middle of a field and turned all the lights on for fifteen seconds .

Great documentary! But you missed to add the 'Gulf Breeze Six Affair'. You know, when on July 9 1990 six intelligence specialists from the 701st Military Intelligence Brigade, stationed in the joint US Army/NSA listening station in Augsburg, at the time in West Germany, deserted together and went to Gulf Breeze at the request of the Aliens.
Outstanding effort at trying to solve a ufo "cold case". As for the Gulf Breeze sightings there is a ufo video taken at daytime which shows an alleged craft go from a hovering position to a sudden acceleration so quickly that the g forces would turn a flesh and blood creature in the ufo into a vegetable. As far as Gulf Breeze is concerned forget flesh and blood aliens - we are instead likely dealing with an interdimensional phenomenon rather than one coming from space.
Yes, there was a video shown on "Sightings" of a silvery disc type UFO that suddenly streaked away, which I believe was shot by another resident of the area (i.e., not Ed Walters). There was also one such video shot by Ed that showed the UFO suddenly disappear after showing up over a beach, but the object was further from the camera so the quality of the footage wasn't as good.

@@scottmaas1959 I'll have to take your word for it as I wasn't there. I'm in the UK. I was sat outside until 12.30 on Saturday night as it's been hot. The sky was crystal clear and I must have seen 25 different objects cross the sky in the space of an hour. Travelling in different directions and mostly at high altitude but a couple were lower. Some would glow brighter for a couple of seconds then disappear. Others disappearing and then coming back. As one went over roughly north to south a stationary blue light flashed on beside it. Could have been satellites but it seemed like a lot...

I watch a lot of ufo documentaries, and this is one of the most in-depth doc I’ve seen in a long time. I especially like how you took us step by step through tracking down evidence. I want to believe, but i want truth more than anything. Thank you! Very well done.
Yup incredible. Seriously. My guy went to the library for this doc…..the library. What the hell is even a library?!? The ability you have to storyboard and then make that accurately come to life is part talent and part skill. What that means is you can’t 100% teach someone how to do this type of work, there’s a certain vision you have to be able to have. Nailed it Holds. ❤️💪🏽
in my experience a "library" is the place you go to ask a girl to prom so she can't yell "EWWW GROSS!!!" and "NO WAY IN HELL NERD!!!" too loudly so everyone knows. Hurts the same though.

What I'm about to say is 100% fact. I lived in Gulf Breeze for 5 yrs. One afternoon in 2017 around 220-3pm, which was a slight over cast day. You could still see blue sky, but I was in the passenger seat of my friend's car, who happens to be a federal attorney, and I'm ex military special forces. We were on gulf breeze highway a little but past the exit for Pensacola Beach and we were at a red light. I was looking down at my phone, when I heard my friend say "What is that" I immediately looked over towards her and saw her pointing up through the front windshield and so I looked up. What I saw for about 5 entire seconds and even drew what I saw when I got home on a piece of paper which I still have to this day. But what i drew was something almost identical to this craft. As I was looking at this craft, I would say it was estimated 8-10k ft amd the width around 1.5 to 2 football fields across and 3 stories high like this craft in the thumbnail. It wasn't moving it was hovering and then after those 5 secs its didn't fly away, the Damn thing just turned translucent and started to disappear in the clouds as they clouds moved across it. There was no noise it was their we both saw this craft in the middle of the day. I'm not saying it's aliens or whatever, but this huge craft I saw with my own eyes. Hand to God not joking about seeing this UFO. Also in gulf breeze I'm a smoker so I'd walk outside around 1-3am, and almost daily I would see glowing orbs floating in the sky. All I can saw from my personal experience. Swamp Gas my Ass.
I’ve seen so many UFO documentaries throughout the years but literally none of them have ever recreated “what the UFO saw”. Thank you for rectifying this and also being so thorough in your research. Fantastic video 👍
It could be both true. Ed Walters pulled a huge hoax for money, and people did see something. What people saw could have been more natural, but once they saw Ed's photos they started to believe that's what they saw as well.
I read his book like 25 years ago as a kid when i first got into this topic. I definetly think he was faking it, the UFOs you hear of now (tic-tacs, triangles, orbs, etc.) are so different than what he was imaging which was more cliche' alien disc than anything else.

Back in the early to mid 90's, I used to visit Hurlburt Field to either take classes or give lectures to the Air Force's Special Operations School. In the evenings, I would head over to Gulf Breeze's Shoreline Park to visit the skywatchers of MUFON. When they found out I worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency, they treated me like a celebrity and told me their stories of UFO encounters. At the time, the place was world famous so there was a constant stream of visitors from all around the world, and they, too, had extraordinary tales. My favorite one was the guy who said he went to Shoreline Park late one night and there were only two people there, looking out at the bay. He approached them from behind and asked if they had seen any UFO's. He said they turned around and neither one had a face. Needless to say, he ran back to his car and zoomed out of there. Anyway, the local MUFON head showed me a photo album of pictures they took and those were extraordinary. Not just lights in the sky, but really bizarre stuff. They also gave me a VHS video of things they filmed in the sky. One time I was there, the producers from the TV show "Sightings" showed up. They told us to all look up and point as if we were seeing something. I refused. As for Walters, most seemed to believe him. Why wouldn't they since they, too, saw UFO's?
Learned lots of new things. Great to add this knowledge to my archives. Bob Lazar is another interesting case one should look into for more ufo/extraterrestrial phenomena.

I've been scouring UA-cam looking for a SIGHTINGS TV episode where they show Ed Walters videotaping a UFO in the sky during the day at the beach. The SIGHTINGS team zoomed in and slowed down the video and you can see a silver streak go across the frame the moment the craft "disappeared", thus proving instantaneous travel. Pretty difficult to fake on 1990s videotape. One of the best civilian proofs of UFOs ever. I hope you managed to find and include that clip. Gonna watch this soon.

I am convinced ufos are real and are visiting Earth. There are many races here from other dimensions or planets or times. The Gulf Breeze pictures/Ed Walter sightings do not ring true to me.

I was a kid when I checked out the hardback version you have, I was mesmerized looking at the photos and reading through the pages of the book. Very well done. I remember this case well. Starting my research in 1987 after I had an 'experience' myself while living in Las Vegas. I was 28 years old then and read all I could about Gulf Breeze as it happened. To this day, I am still on the fence about Ed's story. As with the Alien Autopsy footage, it is quite possible that photos and footage was 're-created' to help describe a real event. Some totally amazing footage that I would like to see 're-created' would be that of Billy Meir of Switzerland. This guy only had one arm and some antiquated cameras. But the footage is astounding. Again, excellent job with the documentary.
I heard about this in the late 90’s and when I saw the image I thought it may have been the same one I saw in ‘87 over Ocala National Forest at Silver Glen. I first thought it was a blimp over a ball game then realized I was in the middle of nowhere. It was the apparent windows that took me back to my sighting. Over the years I googled to see if anyone was in the same area of my sighting but to this day I haven’t found anyone that was also there and saw it as we.ll. I’m not 100% sure but I think it may have been the same one that Walters is known for taking photos of. Maybe one day I’ll figure it out. Thanks for this video.
Wow, I’m 13 and I live in that house right next to where the sighting was, in fact that was my dad you were talking to and we really did see 2 eyes in the bushes. It freaked me out! Matter a fact, we found the video! I would love to show you it!

This was a great project. Thank you for the most interesting story. I had never heard of this before and find it to be very interesting. I myself when I was 10 or 12 saw a UFO with my cousin. No one believed us but we know what we saw. There are things out there we know nothing about. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more topics like this from you

2 years ago sitting on my daughter's deck, in Southern MN, looking ne at the big dipper, I saw something I can't explain. Between the 2 stars that for the dipper rim, a faint star like light appeared. It grew brighter till it was 3 or 4 times brighter than the 2 stars. At its brightest, it began moving east slow at first but accelerating very rapidly and also dimming. In less than a second it had moved far out of the dipper and vanished. All I could think was wtf. Nothing I've ever known could do that.
My 2 favorite types of UA-cam channels... reaction channels and conspiracy channels. So now one of my favorite reaction channels is doing conspiracy stuff!!!! This is awesome haha

You have to remember that the Navy flight school is just across the Pensacola Bay and the Air Force has a huge base further down the panhandle... My father and I never thought it was a UFO, just top secret tech... You see and hear a lot of strange things in the sky in that area... EDIT: Also there used to be a UFO shaped house on Mexico beach... Not sure if it still is there...

Glad you made this. It was late Nov. early Dec, Gulf Breeze, and there was a full school bus at 1am that witnessed their first UFO. It lasted around a minute and at 16 I no longer wondered if UFO's existed.

As a collector and lover of rare relics, the fact that you hunted down the original model was so freaking cool. And the lengths you went to to cover the story from every angle, tracking down people to talk to, recreating photos, even trying to contact UFOs yourself. Amazing work. Lots of documentaries feel incomplete but this feels definitive. I know you weren't sure how well this video would do but everyone loves a good documentary! I know it's convenient this happened in your area but I hope you do more in the future maybe in other places :)

I read the original book, in the late 80's, Ed had so much photographic evidence, & documentation, i did believe he actually had these experiences! I have had my own sightings in the mid 70's.

I was living in south Alabama at the time when all this was going on. One night / early morning in the middle of the country I saw something. Can't say I saw a UFO , but I did see the brightest light I ever saw , with no way to explain how it came to be there .
I live in South Alabama and am nervous about saying this, but I saw a couple of weird things also. One time in the evening I saw something flying from South to North and it looked like a small light like an airplane but it wasn't blinking like an airplane would do. It went into a cloud but didn't come out of the cloud. Not very exciting but one of those things that make you scratch your head. Another time more recently was another night I heard helicopters which isn't unusual but it sounded a bit loud so I went outside and saw 2 helicopters spaced apart but flying low. Also flying south to North. The first one had a white light on the front of it and the helicopter in back had a red light on the front. When I looked in between the two helicopters a little bit to the east of them there was an orange colored ball shaped something going north about the same speed. It's like they were following it. Very odd.
@@carries.9919 That night I driving on my way from Mobile to Citronelle , I don't what that light was , but it was like somebody dropped Denny Bryant in middle of a field and turned all the lights on for fifteen seconds .

Incredible work, Holden. Been a fan for the last couple years, but never dropped a comment. But I had to commend such great, thorough work. Not only was this whole thing so well produced and investigated, it also was super inspiring (being an aspiring filmmaker myself). Really fascinating, insanely engaging, and really made me wanna get off my ass and make something after this last year of stagnancy. Thank you for your work, as well as the inspiration. Keep it up!
Great documentary! But you missed to add the 'Gulf Breeze Six Affair'. You know, when on July 9 1990 six intelligence specialists from the 701st Military Intelligence Brigade, stationed in the joint US Army/NSA listening station in Augsburg, at the time in West Germany, deserted together and went to Gulf Breeze at the request of the Aliens.

Outstanding effort at trying to solve a ufo "cold case". As for the Gulf Breeze sightings there is a ufo video taken at daytime which shows an alleged craft go from a hovering position to a sudden acceleration so quickly that the g forces would turn a flesh and blood creature in the ufo into a vegetable. As far as Gulf Breeze is concerned forget flesh and blood aliens - we are instead likely dealing with an interdimensional phenomenon rather than one coming from space.
Yes, there was a video shown on "Sightings" of a silvery disc type UFO that suddenly streaked away, which I believe was shot by another resident of the area (i.e., not Ed Walters). There was also one such video shot by Ed that showed the UFO suddenly disappear after showing up over a beach, but the object was further from the camera so the quality of the footage wasn't as good.
This is such a treat of a video! As someone who loves documentaries, I can tell the effort put into this. Its a great mesh of your normal content/vibe and the documentary format. I love it! 😁

@@scottmaas1959 I'll have to take your word for it as I wasn't there. I'm in the UK. I was sat outside until 12.30 on Saturday night as it's been hot. The sky was crystal clear and I must have seen 25 different objects cross the sky in the space of an hour. Travelling in different directions and mostly at high altitude but a couple were lower. Some would glow brighter for a couple of seconds then disappear. Others disappearing and then coming back. As one went over roughly north to south a stationary blue light flashed on beside it. Could have been satellites but it seemed like a lot...

I watch a lot of ufo documentaries, and this is one of the most in-depth doc I’ve seen in a long time. I especially like how you took us step by step through tracking down evidence. I want to believe, but i want truth more than anything. Thank you! Very well done.
Yup incredible. Seriously. My guy went to the library for this doc…..the library. What the hell is even a library?!? The ability you have to storyboard and then make that accurately come to life is part talent and part skill. What that means is you can’t 100% teach someone how to do this type of work, there’s a certain vision you have to be able to have. Nailed it Holds. ❤️💪🏽
in my experience a "library" is the place you go to ask a girl to prom so she can't yell "EWWW GROSS!!!" and "NO WAY IN HELL NERD!!!" too loudly so everyone knows. Hurts the same though.

What I'm about to say is 100% fact. I lived in Gulf Breeze for 5 yrs. One afternoon in 2017 around 220-3pm, which was a slight over cast day. You could still see blue sky, but I was in the passenger seat of my friend's car, who happens to be a federal attorney, and I'm ex military special forces. We were on gulf breeze highway a little but past the exit for Pensacola Beach and we were at a red light. I was looking down at my phone, when I heard my friend say "What is that" I immediately looked over towards her and saw her pointing up through the front windshield and so I looked up. What I saw for about 5 entire seconds and even drew what I saw when I got home on a piece of paper which I still have to this day. But what i drew was something almost identical to this craft. As I was looking at this craft, I would say it was estimated 8-10k ft amd the width around 1.5 to 2 football fields across and 3 stories high like this craft in the thumbnail. It wasn't moving it was hovering and then after those 5 secs its didn't fly away, the Damn thing just turned translucent and started to disappear in the clouds as they clouds moved across it. There was no noise it was their we both saw this craft in the middle of the day. I'm not saying it's aliens or whatever, but this huge craft I saw with my own eyes. Hand to God not joking about seeing this UFO. Also in gulf breeze I'm a smoker so I'd walk outside around 1-3am, and almost daily I would see glowing orbs floating in the sky. All I can saw from my personal experience. Swamp Gas my Ass.

It could be both true. Ed Walters pulled a huge hoax for money, and people did see something. What people saw could have been more natural, but once they saw Ed's photos they started to believe that's what they saw as well.
I read his book like 25 years ago as a kid when i first got into this topic. I definetly think he was faking it, the UFOs you hear of now (tic-tacs, triangles, orbs, etc.) are so different than what he was imaging which was more cliche' alien disc than anything else.

Back in the early to mid 90's, I used to visit Hurlburt Field to either take classes or give lectures to the Air Force's Special Operations School. In the evenings, I would head over to Gulf Breeze's Shoreline Park to visit the skywatchers of MUFON. When they found out I worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency, they treated me like a celebrity and told me their stories of UFO encounters. At the time, the place was world famous so there was a constant stream of visitors from all around the world, and they, too, had extraordinary tales. My favorite one was the guy who said he went to Shoreline Park late one night and there were only two people there, looking out at the bay. He approached them from behind and asked if they had seen any UFO's. He said they turned around and neither one had a face. Needless to say, he ran back to his car and zoomed out of there. Anyway, the local MUFON head showed me a photo album of pictures they took and those were extraordinary. Not just lights in the sky, but really bizarre stuff. They also gave me a VHS video of things they filmed in the sky. One time I was there, the producers from the TV show "Sightings" showed up. They told us to all look up and point as if we were seeing something. I refused. As for Walters, most seemed to believe him. Why wouldn't they since they, too, saw UFO's?
Learned lots of new things. Great to add this knowledge to my archives. Bob Lazar is another interesting case one should look into for more ufo/extraterrestrial phenomena.

I've been scouring UA-cam looking for a SIGHTINGS TV episode where they show Ed Walters videotaping a UFO in the sky during the day at the beach. The SIGHTINGS team zoomed in and slowed down the video and you can see a silver streak go across the frame the moment the craft "disappeared", thus proving instantaneous travel. Pretty difficult to fake on 1990s videotape. One of the best civilian proofs of UFOs ever. I hope you managed to find and include that clip. Gonna watch this soon.

I am convinced ufos are real and are visiting Earth. There are many races here from other dimensions or planets or times. The Gulf Breeze pictures/Ed Walter sightings do not ring true to me.

This video was amazing so glad you choose to cover one of the most infamous cases in the state of Florida. I was a kid when I checked out the hardback version you have, I was mesmerized looking at the photos and reading through the pages of the book. I live in Florida and wanted to visit as a kid to see if I could have a sighting but never got a chance. Great work and I look forward to seeing what is in the future for your channel.

Very well done. I remember this case well. Starting my research in 1987 after I had an 'experience' myself while living in Las Vegas. I was 28 years old then and read all I could about Gulf Breeze as it happened. To this day, I am still on the fence about Ed's story. As with the Alien Autopsy footage, it is quite possible that photos and footage was 're-created' to help describe a real event.
Some totally amazing footage that I would like to see 're-created' would be that of Billy Meir of Switzerland. This guy only had one arm and some antiquated cameras. But the footage is astounding.

I heard about this in the late 90’s and when I saw the image I thought it may have been the same one I saw in ‘87 over Ocala National Forest at Silver Glen. I first thought it was a blimp over a ball game then realized I was in the middle of nowhere. It was the apparent windows that took me back to my sighting. Over the years I googled to see if anyone was in the same area of my sighting but to this day I haven’t found anyone that was also there and saw it as we.ll. I’m not 100% sure but I think it may have been the same one that Walters is known for taking photos of. Maybe one day I’ll figure it out. Thanks for this video.
Wow, I’m 13 and I live in that house right next to where the sighting was, in fact that was my dad you were talking to and we really did see 2 eyes in the bushes. It freaked me out!

No one believed us but we know what we saw. There are things out there we know nothing about. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more topics like this from you

The UFOs always seem kind of transparent like it’s a reflection in a window or something.
I think that's how he done it. It looks like a flashlight laying on the road with UFO in a reflection.

2 years ago sitting on my daughter's deck, in Southern MN, looking ne at the big dipper, I saw something I can't explain. Between the 2 stars that for the dipper rim, a faint star like light appeared. It grew brighter till it was 3 or 4 times brighter than the 2 stars. At its brightest, it began moving east slow at first but accelerating very rapidly and also dimming. In less than a second it had moved far out of the dipper and vanished. All I could think was wtf. Nothing I've ever known could do that.

I was 10yo and lived in Gulf breeze at the time... My father moved to Gulf breeze in 1955... You have to remember that the Navy flight school is just across the Pensacola Bay and the Air Force has a huge base further down the panhandle... My father and I never thought it was a UFO, just top secret tech... You see and hear a lot of strange things in the sky in that area...
EDIT: Also there used to be a UFO shaped house on Mexico beach... Not sure if it still is there...
