Detecting Old Civil War Site!!

- Today’s video we go to an old Civil War site and find some awesome pieces that we had no idea what we had till we got home and cleaned it up!! We also detected some the old school and find lots of stuff there too!!
Bro watching you guys metal detect is getting me inchen to metal detect. I'm heading out to a 1900's home site that is next door to a public park and next door to a old school house site. The school was built in 1905 until it was closed down in 1985. Then someone was smoking or doing drugs and caught the building on fire. They had to tear it down. There is a creek that runs between the two sites. There is a bottle dump behind the school property and the old house site sits on another old dump. I'm excited! I already have found vintage marbles in the creek. I'm heading out! Pray for success!

@@heavenlyhillshomestead9465 Yes sir! Thank you! One day I will metal detect a cilvar war site! It's on my bucket list. Our town is over 200 years old and actually the Governor of the state of Mississippi escaped and stayed in our town of Marshall. I live in a old neighborhood only a mile away from the two sites I mentioned and only a couple of blocks away from the old courthouse! I live in a home that was built in 1920 but was made into three apartments later on. I have found a 1930's-1940's thimble and a white marble just laying on the ground. Pieces of pottery and glass all over. I found a Marry Garden Makeup tin buried right beside the old brick driveway. It's from 1920 the same year the house was built. The tincan is complete, full with makeup, and though the mirror is busted is complete. Look up Marry Garden Makeup tin can. The story and history is fantastic! I bet your wife would be interested.

Ive been looking into and there was only 3 John Hiner’s all was VA Confederate soldiers but I’ll research this way and see what will turn up!! I appreciate it brother!!
