Can I join you guys on a farm hunt
@@GeorgeElliott-xp4mhThat was DIV a paid hunt that anyone can attend.
Glad you got to come up and dig with us!! Love the video!
Wow, does this bring back great memories from when I was relic hunting in northern Virginia back in the 70's into the 90's. Our machines were nowhere as nice these modern ones but the amount of relics back then was amazing. Love seeing you out there, Brandon. More of these, please! Take care, be safe and God bless!
Great time frame to be active! What was your best find?
❤️🙏🏻
Good to see you and Matt in a collaboration. ♥
What awesome Civil War relics, Brandon!!!❤
What a awesome video!!!! Great finds. You'll find your first button soon. Thanks for bringing us along. Take care
Very cool video. Love seeing stuff like this. The buttons, bullets, balls, and bottles. Both sides fought bravely.
Awesome hunt thank you so very much for sharing hope you all have a wonderful weekend 👍👍❤️
What a great opportunity Brandon!
Had a blast on this hunt! looking forward to the next adventure!
Sure enjoy watching, thanks!👍🇺🇸
Thank you Brandon for the adventure and seeing some beautiful finds !
Touching history. Wow.
Awesome !!!💥
Looks like a lotta fun !! Awesome history there ✌🍀
Awesome! That is my dream dig.
Looks like a blast, that one guy is the button king. Brandon glad you found those bullets, soon you are gonna find some buttons
I didn’t recognize Matt with a mustache! What a trip!
Very cool finds !! Great day out. Thanks for sharing !!
Awesome video ❤ can't wait for the next DIV
What a fun adventure and cool finds to along with it.
Great video and some awesome relics Brandon. Congrats! I’m sure that was exciting to be there!
Wow! Awesome finds! Neat experience!
Lots of really killer finds! Bet this hunt was a lot of fun. Thanks for the video.
Great video and awesome rescues, congrats to all and thanks for sharing
People driving slow in the left lane drives me ABSOLUTELY BONKERS!!
Ive detected 37 years and just being at a DIV is awesome
Brother the fast lane comment... it's unbelievable how many people have no idea how to properly use the lanes.
Oh, they know. They just don't care.
And more often than not it's some doofus in a prius.
Awesome finds all of you! I couldn’t believe it when I saw the whole bottle 😊 What treasures ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
The beer bottle was cool. Would have like to got a better look at it.
Still interesting video, thanks for taking us along..
There was more to the clip however the wind noise was so bad I ended up cutting it out of the video during the edit. Sorry!
Braden, that was so cool you all finding Cival War relics. That’s got to be so exciting. Enjoyed the video very much. ♥️😊👍👍👏
Pulse induction for the win!
What an awesome adventure Brandon. It looks like you guys had a really great time and found some of America's history to boot.
Great content in this one and as always thanks for taking us along. P.S. I think the beer bottle was the coolest find in this one.👍
Thanks for sharing.
I say yes to all your ideas for the Alabama Pyramids/Blacksmith shop site!!
Looks like fun!
I was lucky enough to stumble on an Eagle infantry cuff button spill that had 8 when I found them. I ended up finding a 9th one later. Great video with a group of Diggin addicts!!!!!
Wow!
@@adventurearchaeology it was a pleasant surprise especially up here in Maine
If it has Greece grooves and a hollow base it's a Minnie ball. If smooth side with a hollow base it's a Pritchet ball. If looks like a Minnie with a post and a washer it's a Williams cleaner bullet
Awesome !!!
I’m a native Georgian and grew up near Andersonville and have a bullet from there. I now live near Lookout mountain and have a friend with a lot of land on Signal Mountain. We have found all sorts of objects including a swath of clothing mixed in with the remains of a civil war wagon.
I thought you were onto a whole buried jacket until you said it was 6 cuff buttons , bit strange 🤔thanks for taking us along Brandon👍🍻
What’s even more weird is some were infantry some were artillery!
Totally awesome!
Awesome finds Brandon! Welcome to Virginia! I live in Martinsville! Thanks for sharing!
This was one amazing dig...congrads to all...🥰🥰
Love your videos!! ❤❤ Cool finds !!😊😊
fascinating , but it must be kinda eerie being where it happened . cheers
Great video!! I found a CW grommet that looked identical to the one u found & it still had the leather in it. It was in an area where troops camped overnight & I’m pretty sure it’s a tent grommet. Very cool finds!!!
Hi "NOTHING IS UP" Excellent video😂
Very professional.
What great finds, I grew up in Gloucester Pt, VA. Lived on a dirt road and found several Colonial and Civil War bullets. Also found one arrow head point and clay pipe pieces
Brilliant finds guys, the bullets I think are known as "3 ringers" from what I have seen on other ACW sites. Great finding the buttons in one hole and the stone bottle is a real treasure. I am always amazed that even with all the ploughing that must have gone on, how deep these artefacts are located.
Keep up the great work, look forward to more finds!
Good finds! A word about those "cuff buttons"... I know we tend to call them that but they are more likely vest buttons. Uniforms were expected to last 90 to 120 days in the field and often burned when discarded.
Fun adventure and congrats 👍🏻🇺🇸💯
Many years ago (early 70's) I used to live in Maryland. I got to visit lots of Civil War sites, but didn't even know metal detectors even existed until I got back to Texas. I ran across someone who worked for Garrett in their Dallas store who got me interested in them. I've owned three in my lifetime, but never had a chance to go back east where most of the battles were fought. I did however find out about a Civil War encampment on the bank of the Trinity River, just east of Dallas. A friend and I searched both banks several times, but never located any sign of the encampment.
Great video
Can't see any detail at the 4:28 find but the shape reminded me instantly of a clasp on suspenders! 🤔
👍🙏>>>💚~~~ Thank You
that was great! you never know what you will dig up! it was great that the farmer let you to go digging.
do you have to pay for the right to do that? or do most farmers do not care as long as you fill in the holes.
another fine video thanks for sharing your adventure. the beer bottle was great, it is sad to think how many
were lost to time! like today there will be nothing to be found unlike the past items burried.
Everyone pays.
Uniform cuff buttons buried that deep all together would signify that a body was buried there after the action was over, and cuff buttons is all that are left.
Cool finds civel war medal detecing it would be a new game fot me it not like finding Northern copper native American Indian artifacts artifacts from copper joe medal detecting 😮
Wow….very interesting, I have always wanted to go back East and do that, my buddy from childhood now leaves in VA so I may get my chance…..I’m sure those detectors are expensive.
Brandon you have grate videos. There is only one thing wrong with them. Thy are to Dang short . LOL
While you may be excited about your found objects, please remember that people fought and died here. Buttons just don’t fall off by themselves - Combat rips the from the fabric. You might put your finds in context of the battle.
I still use my Tesoro.... it's a fine machine.
Cant help but think what damage these bullets/shrapnel would do when hitting flesh? Great digging you guys! Campillos Malaga SpaIn.,
At some point it stops being relic hunting and starts to become archaeology - I don’t know what that point is, but I feel like this is super close to that line.
Congratulations, gentlemen. I think with just a little more regimented excavation and documentation you’d be doing “real” archaeology.
That’s not intended to throw shade at you in any way, it is meant as a compliment.
My home State…Virginia🌟
It’s not the “fast lane” it’s the “passing lane” and if people aren’t actively passing they shouldn’t be in it. I feel your frustration.
Welcome to my home state ❤ can I ask what county were you in?
What a excellent video.
Culpepper!
Horse shoe, mule shoes are more u shaped. Ox shoes are two pieces
and they look like a rust porkchop .
New subscriber here. My newly created channel is the DownEast Digger.
I like your camera work on this. Ive got a long way to go.
Hope you hit some more good stuff !
i have located the buried Confederate Gold Treasure in Danville Va. it is near 360 gas station i need a back hoe to retrieve it .
5:30 I found the same bullet but a little more rounded on a tip in poland and i'm really curious what type of gun shoot this?
Well that was a flop. Buttons and mini balls and that’s it. Fill em back in boys you don’t want the man to be angry.
yup bring root slayer you cant break that one
oh yes vlf or multi freq cant get that deep so better start in the morning
Please, please, say it right! CAValry no CALvery😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬
I’d be worried about accidentally digging up a body
yup building a pi clone detector real not much to these with a screen so will have to get diffrent conectors see what coils work the best 12 inch coils and more arm get a bit tired with 13 inch on think the bigest 33 inch some thing like that would be over the top
Are any of your relics of value? Just asking?
Why do they always scratch the artefacts by rubbing with muddy hands or gloves?
How did you guys get started in this I’d love to do stuff like this but have no idea how to
My dad has been metal detecting since 1982. So I’m 2nd generation. However if you want to learn more about the hobby UA-cam has a wealth of knowledge about Detecting. I’d start there 😎

Shocked the most over used word on you tube
Trolls the most abundant thing in UA-cam.
There is no fast lane. All lanes have the same posted speed limit.
Vote was rigged😂, do enjoy digging dumps more
Shocking, what nonsense
Big deal I find that junk all the time.
Well aren’t you a ray of sunshine. You’ve left 3 comments on this channel none were positive. I’m hoping things get better for you……..
@@adventurearchaeology I'm just a negative person always will be nothing is good
I highly doubt you have opportunities to dig in dug in civil war winter camps "all the time". Otherwise you wouldn't be calling the finds we made "junk". A true relic hunter understands the historic importance to every artifact recovered. Maybe one day you'll find the appreciation for the hobby and if not, go find a new one.
@@rickross804able I love to dig for junk don't take it so personal
