In the last two years I've heard so many versions of this tune, but this one is my favorite. The Angelo's dynamic (not the speed) and accent is what sets it apart from versions from other great guitarists as Joscho and Stochelo.

He's been there for every DFNW since the first one in 2001, and he usually accompanies a few of the acts each year. He's been the Director of DFNW since the original Director, Nick Lehr passed away 3 or 4 years ago. Simon is my favorite Gypsy Jazz bassist. He's originally from the Netherlands, but lives in San Francisco now.
