61 Pull-Ups in 1-min: Guinness World Record (Official)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 жов 2024
- For the past year, I've been training to become the first person to break 60 pull-ups in 60 seconds. On September 14th, 2018, I did it with 61. Let's see how much farther the record can be pushed! I'm excited to be taking another crack at it on December 8th, 2018 at FIBO USA in Orlando: www.fibo-usa.c...

The trick is in his grips. The wider the grip the shorter range of motion is equal to faster pull ups
Phisics bolte
This isn't true it the wider your arms are the more strength it needs
The trick is touching the gd ground. He stopped the continuous record the second he did that and how they can continue is beyond me. This is a worthless video and he accomplished a lot of work, with no real record. Entirely worthless and shame on them for presenting this falsehood.
@@Pandemos 🤗
@@Pandemos if you're jealous, just admit it. The title clearly says most pullups within a minute.
aske did more from serbia : back to basics 63
He’s done 68 now 👍
Aske did an impressiv set. But I've had 68 reps since 2018, and that is the official record. Check my latest post: ua-cam.com/video/LolwGnoWPFY/v-deo.html
(Also, the current official record can easily be verified on the Guinness Records website)
Congratulations Adam, this is extraordinary.
Very well done bro..i hope u reach 70 pullups in a minute..
I'd like to see how many he could perform with perfect form and full range of motion. Not 61, but an impressive number still surely.
this is amazing; i've never even had 1 seizure
I watched it twice. I was wrong. Great job. So fast, you can't help a little bit of swing. Great job
Thanks bro
I noticed you slowed down and lost form slightly when he said 30 I think your body was probably capable of going strong for another 5-15 seconds but the brain is annoying like that it hears halfway done and starts to slow you down
I think you are capable of at least 63 in a minute under optimal conditions
is he allowed touch the ground?
Woohhh my PR is 48 in one minute currently hope I will give you competition soon 😊.
48 is great man. Hope you keep adding reps. Be strong.
That was great Adam - cheers!
Thanks man! Your record-setting and motivational speaking in an inspiration
@@professor.pullups how much do you weigh?
@@mrbong123 150lbs
Apparently, everyone is a calisthenics expert. Give the guy creds. His form was as good as it could be at the speed he was going. This is an insane feat that 90% of this comment section can't even come close to replicating, regardless of the form used. Keep up the work bro 🙌
Thank you bro! Appreciate the support !
Check out channel back to the basics he broke this one
@@kycao1608 His set is a good one. But I reset the record at 68
I’m no expert but thats wide pull ups bro. And dont even lie you know it.
@OP -- None of the people commenting need to be able to do any of the exercises. Your comment is stupid. We just need to be able to recognize accurately done ones.
My gosh.... that's a lot of explosive power
He should NOT have been allowed to rest with his feet on the floor.
This is just insane
Eh, not all of those were proper pull-ups. But I digress, still impressive to do but I would have liked to see a more proper world record.
Pull-ups where??
Congratulations, those were quick!
Thanks! I had put in a lot of speed practice with weight and glad it paid off
crazy, it's your best record, Congratulations!!
Thanks man! You're weighted pull-ups are insane!
Wow! I just assumed this would be a bunch of kipping or butterfly. VERY impressive!
That's no pull up, maybe have ur chin pass the bar. That will never fly in the military
How do you do these fast pullups? Mine is slow but I can do like 50 straight.
Could you make a video or a blog post talking about breathing? I think it's a really interesting concept not talked about enough. Keep killing it bro!
Hold your breath for 60 seconds
Half way there. I can crack 30 in 30 seconds then I’m about to throw up and I really start to slow down.
I counted about 15 ish reps before he started kipping too much.. nice try tho
LOL lets see you hit 20 unbroken buddy
@@tomhudson4719 my highest is 20 full range of motion zero kipping with perfect form. However, rn I'm probably at like 17
@@smokeysauce3064 Pretty good, that's about where I'm at. My comment wasn't to suggest you're not strong or anything, rather to point out that even with some kipping and a breakdown of technique, 61 in 60 seconds is very impressive. Even crossfit "pullups" aren't that fast.
@@tomhudson4719 yeah I definitely cant do that, I just think pullup "records" like this are kind of dumb.
@@smokeysauce3064 Yea its impressive but like... why
If i got a chance i brock your all record
it’s called pull ups no neck ups
Would be great if somebody was on a ladder holding a fish just out of reach.
Congratulations!! Awesome speed!
congrats on your 68. can you tell me if you have to sacrifice leg workout to increase the pull up reps.
Thanks! Good question. I still train legs hard, but mostly running and bodyweight squats instead of heavy lifting
@@professor.pullups thanks for reply. much appreciate it.
Так-так-так...
FOA congratulations!!!! Am curious to know how many chinups you can do In a minute? Have you tried to break the same.
Congrats!
Thanks!
Don't stop making videos love from India
What?! This is amazing
hey sir how do you train for do pullups like this
AŠKE FROM SERBIA 63!!!
kipping is legan in this competitions?
how did you train?
nice reps...
my record 1 min 80 pull ups
Zero, zero, zero, zero, zero
Lets see how many you can do with arms shoulder width apart so you actually have to deadhang properly and not cheat
GWR has the same rulers for everyone, so it’s a fair game. Most top competitors use wide grip for shorter range and more reps. But the flexibility and strength required for a wide grip is surprisingly hard. That’s why most beginners (including myself when first learning pull-ups) start with a narrow grip. Whether one hangs properly is a separate issue, independent of wide or narrow grip. GWR requires only that elbows straighten. Full release of tension in the lats is a different type of hang and good to train with sometimes.
This isn't offical
Right, because I re-set the record myself at 68, which is current to date. This was official at the time.
Sir i can do 54in one minute
Now I know why ure famous in school
I dunno man, I counted 3
Which three? 😂
@@professor.pullups The first three :D
I am just kidding tho, I know that the point here is not to make them with perfect form.
That was very cool to watch.
Really?
Not bad, I did 62 in a minute 😁
0 pull ups were done that day
0 pullups were done in your entire life. Why you talk if you clearly know nothing

its actually funny to watch lol
1:05 No no no 👎
the execution is completely wrong
You are my idol. Forever. pull up's GOD
What price for this record??
No price.
He did good but I can’t say that it’s a pull up lol
It is if its by Guinness standards.
@@gavinmccraw4969 -- Guinness does not have good standards.
Great! Why aren't you famous lol
Every new follower counts :) Spread the word
guy did zero full reps lol
Its easy for me
💪💪💪
ZERO!
хорош)
those arent real pullups
this is so stupid, none of those were actually what i would call a pullup
A well-known definition of pull-ups, for purposes of many competitions, and military tests, is chin over, elbows straight at bottom, no break at the waist, take whatever grip-width you like. Those are the GWR rules, which is what I display in this video. So long as you have the same rules for everyone, you see who's the strongest. Fair and square. To learn more about the full ranges of pulling motion, and different grips, check my other videos, which include everything from chin-over pull-ups to muscle-ups. Also, why do you assume that what you don't call a "pull-up" is stupid, rather than simply another kind of exercise?
@@professor.pullups well said. My first impression was a question of strictness. But I am certainly not an expert in pull-ups. I watched a few times and realized such impressive speed makes it hard to keep the body perfectly straight. Great job
work on your core... cause those aint pull ups...
🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹
🙄🙄🙄 pull ups?
Those are shit pullups. There's a reason he went for an insane wide grip. Still impressive, but shit pullups
Don't be a Hater g
Be careful sir i attend to brake that number very soon lol
Shame I’ll beat it first
