Historically bringing in the police to stop protests at Universities is a horrible idea. The presence of police ( especially USA police who are in full military gear) changes peaceful protest to tense and adversarial...seen it happen. It radicalises students who might never have joined protests.

I work 7 nights a week and still manage to do a little bit but I've known about this lot for decades (look into banking).
Where are all the mainstream media journalists defending free speech? They are silent because they need their jobs? That means there never was free speech in USA in the first place because all mainstream media journalists, all tv hosts need their jobs over the so-called free speech, and fear losing their jobs if they offend their employers.
I believe it was during your recent chat with Mehdi Hassan that you made a point which I'll never forget: that the Gaza depravities have exposed many a "liberal" for the monstrous hypocrites they are.
