Nice. I turn and work with a lot of pine. Next time, after the piece is turned. Run a 4" wire wheel over it to separate the grains. The outcome is awesome.
Thanks for the info Robert. I've got one of those wheels and was considering it but wasn't how the texture would look. I'll definitely have to give it a try!
Fantastic work, Hodge! Love the texture that the burning left!
Thanks Seth! I was pretty pleased withe the result!
Looks great, Robert. I'm glad Harry is ok now.

Merry Christmas to you as well!
I hope Harry is doing well. Very nice turn out. I like how you scorched it. Really makes the detail of the Pine pop out.
Thanks! I really like how it turned out as well!
That came out really nice, Robert! Hope Harry is okay!
Thanks Billy! Harry seems to be back to his usual self now!
Love it Hodge. Pine takes on such a lovely shade of brown when scorched. Great shape as well.
Thanks Doug! I'll have to make a couple more pieces with this burning style!

@@HodgePodgeWoodWorks , wire wheels attached to a lathe or cordless drill work great on both oak and pine. Give it go
This turned out beautiful, Robert. Pine works great for burning to get that contrast. Awesome. Maybe get Harry some fire protection wear. Lol. 😊
I think I'll probably be burning the rest of the pine I've got to turn cause I liked how this one turned out!
No more playing with fire for Harry.
Yeah, I hope he's learned his lesson.
I hope Harry doesn’t have sing “All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth”. Merry Christmas!🎄
Hmm...you've just given me an idea for next Christmas. Now to get Harry to start writing the most popular Christmas carol for beavers.
Merry Christmas boys,😘😘💋💋
Same to you...even though I'm almost a month late!
Merry Christmas man. Looking forward to seeing what you make in the coming year.
Thanks Clint! Best wishes to you and your family as well.
no more fire with harry
You can tell a beaver no but they get what they want.
Poor old Harry eh ... it just shouldn't happen to a Beaver ..lol thk
Hopefully the plastic surgery goes ok so that he's just as good looking as he was before the incident.
Hope Harry’s injuries did not include his teeth. That would be truly awful for a beaver. I hope Santa was good to both of you this year!
That would be a terrible injury! Luckily he's still got his chompers.
that disaster wasn't as PINEful as thought.
You could say it was softwould you knot?
