@@dominicbanfield3491 I'm really looking forward to get a tanzbar but I'm having a hard time finding one used. I like the sounds of the tauzmaus, it just don't have enough instruments to me but that's not too important. Is the sequencer really that painful to use? I like the elektron sequencers and from what I have seen they don't seems to be that different.
@@LoopsDealer elektron sequencers are much more intuitive to me. The MFB sequencers require a good memory for key combos and regular manual references. I'm sure with time it'll become second nature though. Also some of the settings need to be adjusted using midi CCs and this is a pain.
It´s super nice, how fluently you introduce and cut out the elements. Just bought one yesterday, hope I will learn quickly ;) I think one strenght of Tanzbär is, that you can choose individual track lenght for all instruments, allowing for polyrhythmic experiments.
Great skills bro, best video with the Tanzbär so far! Very nice use of the machin for live, and good techno culture. Could you eventually make a review/tuto on this beast???
I can "reproduce" most of the tanzbär sound with my 522 and Tanzmaus, ...but not the hats, and I really love those hats they sounds like you are hitting a cage :o I believe the Tanzbär hat design is very similar to the tanzbär Lite but on the 522, they sounds more 606/808's and on the Tanzmaus the hats are 909 samples :/ ......Yet I can't buy another drum machine XD Thank you very much for sharing your MFB's Jams they are wonderful, you bring honor to those machines
Totally agree. It just has this really unique / expressive sound which I would personally describe as warm, chunky & soulful. 2 has less colour & heat imo..
Great video and performance. I've been looking for a really great sounding drum machine to sync with my modular. This one sounds awesome. All I'm seeing available is the Tazbar Lite. Hmm. I'll keep looking. Thanks for this post.
+Kevin P You can order direct from MFB. The email listed under the contact section on their website is good and usually has a fast reply time. Ordering direct is also a bit cheaper than many resellers for some reason. Must be the small size of the business..
I'm not sure whether to get one of these or the Tanzbar 2. I wonder if the analog instruments that they share sound the same or have the same circuits.
Is it possible record midi steps (note) in Logic X from Tanzbär ? I sync them, I have record audio on audio channel, but I can not seen any midi cakes on external midi channel... so frustrating ..
Giorgio, I have seen u use the tr8 and the tanzbar. Im about to get a Tanzbär. What do you think about the workflow for live improvised acts?? Does it have “catch mode” when u save patterns? I mean, the knob of eg “OH” modifies the sound when you pass through the parameter it was saved. Greetings!
Are you working in Page A of the pattern all the time, without A/B activated? Did anyone ever experience strange sound parameter jumps/resets when switching to Page B while setting steps? Quite annoying...
I regularly come back to this video and dream of Tanzbärs.
Dominic Banfield I see I’m not alone lol
Oh I do the same x)
@@LoopsDealer I got a Tanzbär lite. It's a bastard to use but it sounds nice. I haven't made anything that sounds this good on it of course.

I love this demo video. I hope to buy MFB Tanzbär in December.
Glad af to come across this glorious demo, bless up.
Is it just me or does the Tanzbar 1 sound much nicer than the Tanzbar 2?
Totally agree. It just has this really unique / expressive sound which I would personally describe as warm, chunky & soulful. 2 has less colour & heat imo..
5:52 onwards, that is glorious! get that made into a tune and release it :)

Hi hat seems to come a bit more from left channel.
I have a Tanzbar but this sounded differently so I looked at the waveform. Just saying coz it doesn't really matter
this is amazing!
Real techno! Good stuff
amazing, super musical!
I want to like it twice...
Super nice🔥🔥🔥
very nice video. it looks like you are playing sounds live into the pattern like you can do on a roland tr-9. how do you do this?
this vid is tops. thank you for it
Sehr, sehr gut!
mesmerising!
damn! love it.. great stuff
just throw in some tasty 303 lines...
I'm not sure whether to get one of these or the Tanzbar 2. I wonder if the analog instruments that they share sound the same or have the same circuits.
Tanzbär II is apparently missing some key controls on the kick drums synthesis... Deal breaker for me
HOLY FUCK THIS VIDEO IS INSANE
Nice one brotha!
Taming the beast!
love this. Please... which play mode are you using?
Thanks, I was playng Tanzbar in Roll Rec mode 😉
Exzellent!
Is it possible record midi steps (note) in Logic X from Tanzbär ?

I wonder how much this video drew up prices on this machine. Stellar work!

Timm Brockmann dude i have the same problem when switching pages, don’t know why it happens though
Yes man, all the time page A
