    Dear Dr Taylor. Caller ID test is genius! It is SO true. When I heard it I applied it to some people who call me regularly. And yes, with some I tense up immediately. With some I became happy and relaxed! Thank you!

      You will find that, if you start with video 1 and watch them all in order, it's really easy and very logical. I work soooo hard to publish these videos in just the right order so that I dispel all the myths and misconceptions along the way. But if you watch them randomly and try to make sense of what I teach you in the of context of all your misinformation, it's a recipe for disaster, and will sabotage your entire menopause education.

    I re watched this Alzheimer's stuff in order to boost memory for this one. I thought about how sometimes when introducing friends I mention their names opposite of the people and we all laugh about it to be fair this is common with dyslexia a life long fluke for me. It impacts everything I do .even more under elevated stress or looking everywhere for shades/reading glasses to find them on top of my head sometimes both pairs. The funny part here is I stopped this video to call the phone my husband was looking for as it rang in his pocket and I have to watch/read everything at least twice with this adorable puppy humping all over me all the time. She's well worth it she's very helpful for my brain as her training needs are different from previous pets my body as she's very strong and full of energy my emotions as I love being with her and my nutrition if I prioritize it for her I prioritize nutrition for myself as well.

    Dear Dr. Taylor, eI have embarked on the mission to become licensed as a dentist in the US, that means taking the National Dental Board Examination, my brain just doesn't work as it used to! I could read a lecture and be done with it, the info was embbeded in my brain and I could easily recall it. I'm doing spaced repetition, but everyday I find that I've forgotten some fact that I had already "mastered" I've been looking into supplements that can boost my retention, but I'm so wary about supplements. I just had the Sotopelle implant and will start estrogen pills for days 1-10 of each month, I am hoping that will help my brain to wake up!

    • @MenopauseTaylor
      @MenopauseTaylor  Рік тому

      Oh oh. You have been scammed, my dear.
      The implant is testosterone (Papa Bear's hormone). It will make you horny, but it will not make you brainy.
      And taking estrogen for only 10 days is going to create a rollercoaster that makes things worse, not better.
      PLEASE, PLEASE, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME so that you do this properly (and don't flunk your exam). I do them all online.

    Oh wow! I saw a woman at the store last week. I recognized her, she recognized me, we said hello and I could not remember where I knew her from. I guess that would fall under episodic memory or recognition memory?? I didnt find out until Sunday where I knew her from 4 days later. Lol.
    Oh my goodness, my verbal memory really suffers when I do not sleep well. Makes me feel crazy when I can not speak right. Lol. I am so glad it does not constitute Alzheimers.
    I tell my kids I am Wonder Woman. I wonder where I put my phone. I wonder what I went in a room for. I wonder wear my sunglasses or keys are. Lol.

    • @MenopauseTaylor
      @MenopauseTaylor  3 роки тому +1

      You make me laugh. No, it's not Alzheimer's now. But it is a wake-up call telling you to challenge your brain so that you do not end up with Alzheimer's. I'll be telling you how in later videos.

    Cool we have been donated 6 medium sized plastic containers I can finally get this clutter mountain organized in this tiny house and once again know where everything is if.this precious bundle of energy ever gets tired. I only have the clutter mountain because we got ready to move 2.months ago and received inaccurate times and dates up to now. We expected more competence from a housing program on church property that supports our current village.

    Thanks again .. and again ., and again 🧡♥️🌚!! Ive watched all your videos, many times pen in hand & rewatched and applied them so I’m m eternally grateful. Sort of side note: ! I’ve read up on emotional memory and feelings, that confusion between the two, how it’s manifested etc. Do you have any further reading or viewing recommendations on this? I’m not a scientist or doctor but I’m in a field that benefits from a deep understanding of this (though I believe we/me/people can all benefit enormously from this 😊♥️😊♥️!). Thanks again Dr Taylor

      Your feelings are a function of your emotional memory. They are inextricably linked. Sometimes, you cannot separate them.

    Ha! My Recognition and Intuitive Memory makes Ed crazy! He is unable to watch a show without me interrupting and asking...do you remember who he/she is? My intuition is very strong and that makes him throw his hands up in the air. Haha!
    We are the opposite on organizational memory to where he is always asking me how long something is going to live there. Ah, well...he still loves me. :)
    I look forward to this important series (as I have the others).

    Hi Dr Taylor, I've been watching your videos recently and I really appreciate them. I am though having trouble finding information on when to take estrogen and progesterone according to menstruation. I do still have my cycle, but have very low estrogen due to a very rapid increase in cortisol because of excessive and prolonged periods of stress. My hormones were what felt like very balanced before this sudden shock. And I am trying to increase my estrogen with herbs but I'm not sure when to take them according to my cycle. Is estrogen supposed to be taken 1-14 days of cycle, then progesterone 15-28? Been struggling to find the answer. Again thank you so much!
