Nice tour, Tim. 1 year! That’s wonderful. The mint will creep... I would do a hard border with rocks or logs, then a mulch buffer.

Yup he's a big one already, time flies!
And yeah it looks like I have to start digging right about now or when it cools down a bit probably. Definitely before the winter freeze

Thank you for the tour. Only in this Video the before mentioned brightness filter effect is gone. Could it be, you published this video with slightly different settings? Anyway, great ti watch it in natural colors.
Mint in general is expanding very steadily. After digging a trench you can place a maybe 30 cm deep root barrier into the ground. You will benefit from this because it creates a defined border between mit and gras.

I have been thinking hard about what could have happened, it could have been a slight smudge on my phone camera. I don't change any settings at all, everything is still factory setting.
And as for mint, I am super appreciating all of this advice. Thank you man

I had mint in my plot. Someone had it years ago and after that everyone got it as well. You just can't kill it after it spreads. Contain it for now . Don't let the roots spread, 5mm piece is enough.

Yeah I am definitely fighting the clock here on containment, I need something in the ground before the winter freeze

What do you prefer between this 15 l and jaakari s? Thank

They are 2 entirely different beasts, and I love them both.
The very high amount of modularity, and included pieces of the Kahakka 15L make it a great backpack right from the start. The Jääkäri S is great from the start too, but to match the comfort and modularity you have a little bit of work to do.
But the Jääkäri S will expand to hold your life and more, while the Kahakka 15L will only expand at the side bellows pockets
Both will survive the apocalypse, and both have great merits, but they are very hard to compare
