- Hello folks! We are back at the flea market in Tbilisi today, there are more goods on the weekend and there is something to look at. I can inform you in advance that today there are more German cold weapons, bayonet knives, dirks, and of course there were Caucasian daggers and one shashka that I really liked. Have a nice walk and watching!

I always like seeing a hint of your culture in these flea market tours. The variety of different types of items is kind of surprising. Are the license plates really old? It is hard to tell without anything to indicate their date? A lot of American license plates have dates or dated stickers on them. So it's relatively easy to tell.

Приветствую! 🤝 Спасибо за видео. 👍 НА 18:40 - кинжал со "странной рукоятью и клинком" - это Малазийский или Филиппинский национальный кинжал КРИС (Kris). Не ожидал увидеть его на Тбилисской барахолке... 🤔 Видимо кто-то из моряков завёз как сувенир... 🤷♂ Жаль цену не спросили на него...

1:55 That larger square frame camera on the upper left is equivalent to a Hasselblad 500 (Kiev 88/Solyut I believe it is, that the factory was split after WW2 and the USSR version is equivalent to the German produced one.) Still a quite expensive film camera, over $500 just for the basic camera. Add some lenses and extras and the price goes up a lot.

Это не кофемолка, это для специй, у нее ещё снизу чашка должна быть, куда смолотое высыпается. Я такую себе из Турции привезла. Вот точно такую.

I don’t understand who these items are for, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of people at those markets. The prices are so high it’s ridiculous, I can’t imagine that locals buy them, or that they’re making any sales at all.

and a n ss dagger with the text for 1200? thats way to low these are usualy 4000 with text
I know, everything is expensive in this particular market, but it's interesting. There for all the time I bought 1 or 2 times and that's it.
Flea Markets are good over there. Would love to come get one of those Georgian Swords.

This seller has most of the original, if the replica he immediately says
20:50 : The left, the longer one is a so called "Borddolch" of the German "Luftwaffe". It looks like a replica. In Germany you can buy real ones incl. certificate conc. that it is an original for about Eur 900,00. The right one is an officer's dagger of the "Wehrmacht". It is probably an original, because the forbidden symbol has been removed. You can buy these in good condition for about Eur 550,00. So, well, both blades are absolutely MUCH too expensive!

The Hitler Jungen knives were made by E.L. Wingen Jr. in Solingen and should be clearly stamped. I have a few Wingen knives in my collection.

23:26 : The very long, pointed bayonet is French, but the Germans used some of them in a shorter version in the so called "Volkssturm".
A lot of the weapons look like if they have been put together out of several different pieces. Some have not the correct sheath, some other have wrong endpieces and so on. BUT: If the black one on the right side were original and complete (I doubt this) its price would be around Eur 3.000,00 because it is an officer's dagger of the horrible organisation "Schutz Staffel" - murders, war criminals and so on. Horrible persons.

Да, это скорее музей с продажей туристам. Видно что тут продажи тематические, всё подобрано профессионально и наверняка много новоделов, и конечно цены потолочные, по этому найти что-то дешевле вряд ли на таких рынках получится. Для этого нужны по настоящему блошинные рынки, где в грудах барахла может сверкнуть бриллиант.
Согласен с вами полностью и вы правы, я там КРАЙНЕ редко ежели что-то куплю. Потому что или впихнет ерунду или же цена космос, а вот на простеньком блошином рынке в более бедном районе, там ваше почтение - сколько раз находил замечательных вещей за ОЧЕНЬ социалистическую цену.
