haha. no! It's really very American thing. Some yongsters (hipsters?) though nowadays like to walk in the center with some coffee in their hands, but just for a slow walk. You can see them rarely. We don't have that like in American subway many people stay with BIG cups of coffee.
That's the saddest flea market I've ever seen. Anyhow, I sent you a few dollars through paypal for food so you can have energy and creativity, as you put it. Ha! You have a good sense of humor, Sergey, which is so important to have, especially in shitty times and situations. We have to laugh at the world and at ourselves to survive and not go crazy. Cheers!

Hello and many thanks for the insides of your "soviet" life. Nice to see that life is coming back to town. Hope you're doing well and best regards from Germany
I sell at an outdoor flea market here in New Jersey, weather-permitting. They will not allow us to sell outside in the snow, however, in case someone should slip and fall and get hurt. It looks so very cold out there in the snow! Brrr 🥶! I would love to shop there, though! Saw a few items I liked 😉 Thanks for sharing.
cool! I will visit American flea markets when I go there. It's much more interesting for me than going to some cinema for example! But yeah, in Russia the whether is kinda tough ALL the time that if we had this rules - they would never sell.
Thanks for sharing! More videos of your local community is pretty cool! Much like you, we have flea markets too, but I always disappointed when I do not see any fleas to purchase! :(
haha! I actually didn't know it translates as a "flea market" as well! In Russia we also call it a "flea market" (bloshiniy rynok). Maybe in some old carpet you can find some fleas though!
@@CrazyRussianSergey That would be too much work! I want them to perform for me, like circus fleas you see in the cartoons! ua-cam.com/video/xnwnEJcdvsk/v-deo.html

I liked this video a lot, because I've spent many hours, of shopping in markets just like this. I'm an American tourist, and I go to Kiev, and Moscow, every summer. I have one of those gas masks, I bought from a Russian man, in Kiev, for only $10. ! I can't find any thing like it, in this country, for under $50. Also, I need a new pair of reading glasses, but have been telling myself, to wait till next summer. The prices are now cheaper for things in Russia, than in Kiev, and Ukraine. I always bring back a suitcase full of souvenirs. The flea markets are also, bigger and busier, with more things to buy, in the summer. Last summer, I brought back, 5 liters of honey, and many other types of bee products. One thing I noticed about this flea market, was that there were hardly any food or beverage stands. At least in Kiev, in the winter, they are all over. But the merchandise is similar between the two countries. And you never know, what interesting thing you can find.
Privet. Just found your videos! Subscribed right away. You have a great sense of humor. I want the bust of Lenin because of my happy childhood! Spacibo!!!
Very cool to see the flea market. Amazing how much is still around from the Soviet time. Those books seem very expensive! Maybe they would negotiate for less money? I love my ushanka for the winter months. I'd love one with more animal fur. Any soviet carpets available?
Wow! This is a great video. It looks like it lives up to the name of the Second Best Flea Market in the world. It looks like it is all good quality stuff. I have been to some flea markets in the US and a lot of the stuff is cheap import knockoff stuff. Also, there is nothing wrong with second hand stuff. It serves its purpose. It should never be embarrassing especially if it child's clothes that they will grow out of pretty quickly. This is a great video and the details you give are great and gives you an idea of what it would be like to visit, even if someone watching is on the other side of the world. Is there street food in this type of flea markets? What is the street food scene in St. Petersburg in general?
I love swap meet! A lot of cool stuff to collect or decorate your house! I love Soviet Union stuff made better than new Chinese crap! I grew up with some used clothes in America also. You can spend all day there looking around

@@CrazyRussianSergey I sometimes go to Russia for work... So I will see you there with Mexican children's candy, hopefully is not too strong for Russian man...
Very nice, thank you, Manager. Hope you can buy some soviet humour for the next time and maybe go to the forest and find helmets and mushrooms if it fits. It was surprising to see so little people with covid mask. Maybe with the cold it gets killed in Russia. Take care.
People just care less about mask rules and also we don't have expensive fines for not wearing a mask and only crazy people who refuse to wear it if asked by police get fined.
