IMPORTANT Update: Though the observational data does appear rife with reverse causation, a new study (www.nature.com/articles/s41591-023-02223-9) published interventional data in mice and in vitro on 2/27/23 that suggests erythritol may indeed be harmful, and so I urge everyone to stop consuming it until we know more.

Apparently the same research group published a new paper earlier this month where they also found similar threats when consuming xylitol: „Xylitol is prothrombotic and associated with cardiovascular risk“

It would be great to hear an Update from Nutritionfacts on this.

Xylitol gum and toothpaste are standard in Finland, I've been using them daily since I was a kid. This is interesting. One obvious question you didn't seem to touch on at all is that if erythritol is a pesticide, what kind of health implications might that have on larger creatures like humans?

Have you had testing done to check for presence of the bacteria Strep. mutans in your oral cavity? If S. mutans is not present, then the dental decay is being caused by some other problem. All of the death information, what was the dosing and correlational to adult dosing that the mice were given, and or the test tubes were given. Where are all of the subjects in the candy experiment put on a detox regime as well as all of the keto people that use it in their baking and on and on, as well as the people in Sweden that have been eating it for years. That’s a joke. Thank you for all that you do. So sad.

As a Natural Health Consultant I can tell you that not only is this information bogus but would invite anyone associated with it to a live debate! The video here was the most immature presentation Ive ever seen! Xylitol has been clinically studied since the 80s but many in the medical industry dont want you well! I'll be waiting on an answer to my live debate challenge!
