This song is more a follow up to The Thing That Should Not Be which was a sort of sequel to Ktulu, in keeping within the Ktulu world but with fatter heavier riffs
@@Starcoma ‘cause it is a music that i can listen anytime, slow tempo, EPIC riffs that i can enjoy anytime doing homeworks, walking on the street, listening in the car, it is a perfect song for me. And i like people that enjoy musics that i like because i feel that, “at least in my city” no one likes my type of music, simple, slow and heavy songs.
It's a trip to listen to Call of Ktulu and this back to back, thirty years apart in release but the vibe still works as kind of crazy narrative. Been listening to both a lot because I'm writing a Cthulhu based tabletop RPG campaign for my friends and they are a good vibe for getting in the mood lol
This song represents all that I really like about the Load and ReLoad albums. This song benefit from the broadly simpler song structure they used across much of this album.
It completes the unofficial Ktulu trilogy...though it's sad to think maybe they wont write more Ktulu themed music, but maybe they explore more HP Lovecraft lore instead.
@@Starcoma lol never thought of it that way...🤔 anyways just found your channel last week man and I gotta say you are far more entertaining than other reaction channels I've been following for a couple of years. Keep up the great stuff and your audience will increase for sure..Cannot wait for your take on Spit Out The Bone!!
Oh man, Moth as your favorite? I gotta say its my most disliked haha(I skip it every time haha). Nice that there is a variety of likes/dislikes on this album though.
HWTSD is a masterpiece... and this one is one of the best Metallica songs for me
Agree
Yep

Dude that's what I said!
I was afraid that you wouldn’t like my favorite metallica song, i was wrong, thank you!
Even if I didn’t like it, that’s okay. We all like different music. And that’s a good thing 🙂.
Why is it your favourite?

I have come to really enjoy this song. Especially playing it.
Didn't expect a WWE reference in this, well done!
Love this song. A mix of thing that should not be and sad but true plus the vocals remind of the memory remains. I love this song!!!
It’s. So. Heavy.
I. Love. It
one of my favorite song from the album. im enjoying your videos. keep it up man
Great reaction, just subbed !!! Now I am binge watching getting my daily Metallica fix and really enjoying your honest reactions.
Thank you, Ted! I’m thinking about doing Lords of Summer tomorrow.
That WWE reference was spot on to the vocals, though I didn’t get it lol
It was certainly a niche reference!
Nice reaction brooo,,,keep it goin' with METALLICA songs!!!,,,yeaahh
Thanks for the content, I'm waiting for Spit Out The Bone, my favorite from the album
A few people are also waiting. I’m excited to get there... eventually 😅.
I agree, you also listen to All nightmare long its a monster Drop D Song
I have been a long time Metallica fan. All Nightmare Long is one of my favourite songs to play on guitar. I play it on Twitch often- look me up 🤟
i think after you finish the album maybe react to "the making of". it's really cool and it's on their offical channel
Solid idea.
Nice Job, great featuring 👌 👊
Ah the video really makes the song for this one.

they have All Nightmare Long which is about the Hounds of Tyndalos
also in TTTSNB, they reference Shadow Over Innsmouth and Nyarlathotep
Awesome reaction!!

Honestly loving your reactions pal 👍 best reactions to metallica ive seen so far cant wait for here comes revenge 🙂
Thank you! Very kind.
Death Magnetic is bullshit compared to this lol
I think Death Magnetic is a fantastic album, personally.
I lobe James’ cadence in this song
Beautiful.
This song is slower and fatter than my mother in law ..
That could be taken as a compliment to your Mother in Law - like she’s in really good shape lol.

Lee Taylor Thank you, man. That’s incredibly kind.
Don’t worry, we’ll get there soon enough lol.
🤣
You think this is heavy, wait until you hear Here comes revenge..
Ooooo. Now I’m excited.
I wouldn’t say is heavier but it sure as hell is ominous af!
@@GeniusCenaa ominous is the right word! Like something seriously bad is about to go down.

It is incredibly fun to play on guitar. I think that helps.
Someone did say this album is very divisive.
Yes theres no balls in moth...
markus mirtti We must be listening to two different songs 😅
