This tutorial made me cry from frustration. I love your channel but I feel like I'm missing something. It might be the mesh I used for crying. How do you slow down the single tear particle. My brain hurts. Thank you though, it's the only content like this out there I'm just a noob.
you can try increasing the friction on the mesh
this is late but under Physics and Integration in your particle system lower the timestamp, it will make it slower.
my tear speed is pretty much high

One question: what if you already have a model animated? would the tears lock to the face or something? if not can u do that somehow?

Amazing tutorial! Thank you so much! I'm having a problem where my tears sort of shoot off my mesh after they travel down the face, instead of sort of gathering on the chin. Any idea on what could be causing this? Cheers!
Try increasing the sticky ness of the mesh in collision settings

Btw. I have a query, is blender can be use for advanced texture painting like people do in substance painter? Can blender make amazing results like that even though it doesn't have layer system? Can you make a tutorial on advanced texture painting in blender and get results like substance painter? Maybe texturing a t-rex will be good for that. You have to enable node wrangler in preferences settings
