- To accompany the release of BH4 on the PlayStation 2, CAPCOM released a special "DVD Book" known as the "biohazard 4 FILM DVD BOOK Incubate" which contained a story written from the perspective of a villager in the game in order to explain the background behind the Ganado enemies.
The DVD contained this movie, which is a collaboration between CAPCOM and Karitajian and blends the gameplay and event scenes of the game into a feature length "movie" to summarize the plot.

haha started playing the game again recently so I’ve been watching vids about RE on YT then I found out about this 🤯
man when I played this when it was released, I remember thinking "this is it, nothing else will look better than this ever" xD
When this came out it actually was quite dated compared to other things on the market it looked like shit. Thanks to the idiotic decision to release this for nintendo's gaycube, a completely lacking and overpriced piece of shit next to no one owned. Later when they ported this to PS2 they didn't had time to invest into making it look much better. The original dev team was busy doing other things too. They decided to focus on bringing some more content and ship it soon as possible to milk all the money it can. The later HD remaster is pretty much how the PS2 version suppose to look like. Once again being a generation behind in graphics.

I know your comment is old, but you are aware that hardware wise, the Gamecube smashes the PS2 right? The main thing the gamecube suffered from was small discs, so a lot of multiplatforms looked worse because they compressed and lowered texture quality to make the games fit on the tiny discs. Still a mystery why Nintendo thought this was a good idea tbh.

Surely if the PS2 *WAS* stronger, they could've AT LEAST used the original textures from the GCN version. However the PS2 wouldn't handle it. This is the same reason why all PS2 cutscenes are pre-rendered, instead of realtime like the Gamecube's cutscenes. Also if them not caring or wanting to invest too much in a port was actually a thing, they wouldn't have included separate ways, a short roughly 3 hour campaign made from the ground up exclusive to the PS2 and onward versions.
I'm kinda curious why you seem to hate the gamecube so much, and blame it for "RE4's dated graphics", when the PS2 and PC07 versions are hands down the worst looking versions of the game to date. Also, that HD remaster you say that "The PS2 was supposed to look like"; was actually built off of the Wii version. So your point is just incorrect twice lmao.

Game might have looked better had it been developed for xbox or pc. Or maybe if it was developed for x360.

This was the first really scary yet tactical game I've ever played. Zombies opening doors and climbing ladders and sht. Fun childhood memory. Played every RE game since playstation 1.
Watching this then watching the remake cutscenes just makes me so grateful they went ahead and remade RE4 😍😍
This is a very cool telling of the story of the game. The fact capcom knew how all the gameplay went through in the cannon cannot be understated. It is brilliant. I would love to see them do this again sometime because it is fascinating seeing everything how they saw it.
Weird how they excluded the cutscene where the policeman's body is thrown into the lake though

It was only released in Japan I'm afraid. It came with a book (diary) from a character in the village called "Raymondo" and it reveals a lot of plot holes i.e. how did Saddler get there, how did they become infected with the Plagas virus, what happened to the children etc before Ashley was abducted.

No this is just Ada being Ada. She does this all the time. She took on the Raccoon City zombie apocalypse in a trenchcoat + stockings and high heels combo with shades, all while sporting a tight red sleeveless dress inside. That's even more impractical than what she wears here in RE4.

Да, конечно неплохо все сделано, смонтаженно, но все же что бы это смотреть нужно как минимум поиграть в re 4 чтобы понять что происходит и понять некоторые моменты. Как по мне ролик сделан на отьебись за что огромный минус создателям, могли бы сделать с ихними возможностями чуточку покачественней и получше. А так в целом норм, смотреть можно

The biggest flaw this game has is the fact that the president of the united states relied only on Leon to secure his daughter.
The mission was a secret. Only few agents that the president trusted knew about it including Leon, because Ashley was kidnapped by rogue agents with help from Krauser. Leon was supposed to only gather information based on leads that he got, then comeback with the whole squad. Shit hit the fan, and he had no choice to continue the mission on his own
