There is one missing scene with the regenerator, if you take so long to kill it the doors automatically opens.
The first time scared the shit out of me cause i wanted to see what would happen if i go back that way, then the background theme play and them wolfs just spam, i usually go back to the boat and kill all of them with the harpoon

I remember that shit happening one play through I was doing. I normally killed them but one run I said I’ll just leave them and they all got through mad caught your boy lacking 💀

The wolf horde scene is the most terrifying, i had encounter it and i was "Nope" then just run back to the boat
It's actually a good idea to run back to the boat: lure the wolves to the boat, board the boat, and then just pelt them with harpoons. You have an unlimited supply, and the wolves can't hit you from the dock.
I've never encountered these mutated wolves. At some point, I was wondering why the wolves got so little time in the game.
What you can do if you have the sniper you can jump back in the boat and snipe the wolves one by in and be safe far away. Might have to drive back to get them to run towards you again

Surprised me how a lot of people didnt know you could destroy the giant novistador nest in the castle. I just shot at it a few times for fun and got rewarded for it lol xD
Considering the size of the damn thing, no one would think that the nest could be destroyed.

I wasted the Rocket Launcher on it, didn't think you could do it with normal weapons
It also provides the only guaranteed blue eye in the game!
@@JeremyDadHat oh yea definitely, idk why but blue eyes are one of the hardest to get, especially when you need them to complete a treasure, was it the lamp one?
I’m beyond happy that they kept Leon’s line of, “Where’s everyone going, Bingo?” in the remake. Now if only they keep some more of the camp and cheese dialog for the rest of the game xD

I played this game so much that I saw every cutscene, death sequence, etc. Truly amazing. Rem4ke looks good but RE4 will always be S tier.

The village is my favorite scenario, a bunch of hidden scenes and places to go.
Same. Every area in RE4 is incredible, but the village is just the most iconic and atmospheric, overall.

Going back to my PS3/4 I didn’t unlock the cutscene. But on the Wii version that I spend 100’s of hours I had to go back and unlock it after so many years 🤣.
I knoww dude, I'm replaying on my PS4 and I know this game inside and out from all treasure locations, complete all the puzzles within seconds, to using green/yellow herbs as soon as possible, I've only encountered those wolves like 2 times before over a decade of re4

There is also secret animation in bonus costume 2 with tommygun. It happens when you are reloading that weapon. And if you just keep pressing reload button there is special animation ;).

I never knew as a kid that the first village fight had the chainsaw man because I always hid by the village entrance
I never knew it was a secret scene, simply because I would hide in the house because it was the closest one there and it even has the door open unlike all the other village houses. I think the devs did it on purpose to bait the player into hiding in that house to use as a barricade from the ganados, and it worked on me perfectly.

I only found out on my second run. I didn't hide but ran around and stayed near the entrance just shooting and cutting everyone. I didn't find the shotgun until after the bells tolled.
I played on the wii, so it was mostly me panic slashing the controller to cut people when they got too close. Horror games were fun on the wii, although more violent. Does anyone know if there is a VR version of the remake?
In my opinion, the voice actor of the original version of Leon had a very good voice and even Leon's face was more attractive

After killing del Lago, you back track the way you came, 2 shacks and the swamp, you trigger their scene. The swamp also has more people spawned to kill if you want to farm and a barrel gets refreshed with more tmp ammo

Even though the remake pushed some aspects further, this game is still a work of art in it's own right and will still hold a place in the hearts of many of being the original, best RE game ever.

Usually if you can do friendly fire, the ally you shot just dies and it's game over but with Luis, he actually fights back and kill you before it goes game over.
Leon was trying to teach Luis a lesson for commenting on Ashley’s ballistics lol.

I like the new Leon’s voice, I can’t think of anything bad to say about it. The OG RE4 voice will always be iconic and memorable tho.

Yep. I trolled around as a kid when playing this. Accidentally shot the merchant and found out he won't spawn anymore on the hardest difficulty. I regretted my choices then.

For some reason I've always found the intensive of that sequence to glass shattering from the ladder @0:54 and Leon's "Shit!" Hilarious bc it relates to we would say in that surrounded situation.
Is the lift really a secret cutscene? You have to use the lift to continue the game. The cutscene happens when you get on.
going back down again is different, you usually shoot those ganados of the other lifts and then get up instantly. As theres no reason to go down i never did that either, so that view is new to me

For years, I felt as if the infected wolves popped out of nowhere. Like every monster always has a cutscene introducing them but the wolves were just at the church, no cutscene, no foreshadowing. However, all this time they did actually have their own introduction cutscene. It's just rarely triggered since 99 percent of players never head back. I only discovered the wolf scene because I was playing in Pro mode so I was desperate for some loot and I was wondering if I could find more spinel or gold going back. And then I did went back and the cutscenes of the wolves triggered and this was on Pro so that scared the shit out of me and I ran back to the boat. Even though Leon's running speed is constant, it felt as if I ran so hard during that moment.
I didn't know the throne scene was an optional secret cutscene. I just did it in my first playthrough, thinking it was something every player finds as part of the main game. It's only after I finished the story of the remake that I now realise that I completely missed the throne scene, which is a shame.
I'm going to be really disappointed if the remake does not have the chair scene. There is a deleted scene that was revealed later in the ungrounded prison that showed a 1st person view of the bugs that are camouflage. Which would explain the one of the two missing video spots in the archives of the game. The last one was never found but looked like it went after the end credits.

Maybe not secret but optional..this video is for hidden and optional scenes that you can skip or don't have to reveal during the game play
That cutscene when you try and enter the Church without the insignia.
If you go there while it's raining at night and you never triggered the cutscene beforehand. The cutscene will play while it's a night and raining.
Granted almost no one is going all the way back just to do that. So very few people actually know you can trigger that cutscene even at night in the rain.
Even keeps rain sound in the background :)

Yea only 3% of all players have seen that secret cutscene of the villagers trapping Leon in a house and the chainsaw guy breaking in. If you somehow witnessed that then congrats you’re a legend

After beating del lago, just follow the route to get the church door key, take boat to merchant save area and before fighting el gigante take a route back to before you fight del lago... Iirc
You can however after after beating del lago take the boat again and go to the previous area but probably the cutscene wont play since the dogs will wait at the door, i might be wrong so correct me
I didn't know about the Luis Serra one, always avoided hitting him by going to the second floor
Never saw the wolf plagas scene or the very last one. Beat this game over 50 times across 18 years and I'm still finding stuff out.

The cutscene at 1:09 can be very easily missed when you first time play the game. I didn't even know about it, until I looked it up on UA-cam since my first playthrough of the game was a blind one.
my first playthrough I went back because I wanted revenge like most players did, I don't think that was to easy to be missed capcom must of known player would go back.
I discovered that cutscenes due to Ada's campaign.
i discover it on my first playthrough only because i didn't realise i was going the wrong way, because i thought after cutscenes you face the right way
When i first found it playing the VR version of the game I thought I died until I saw Ada show up and I was like wait what she shows up this early and I missed her in like 4 other playthroughs
There is another one. 4:40. The first time Leon and Ashley take a ride in the transport cable thing (dont know the name), more further there are ganados appearing in the opposite side too riding the transport. If you dont shoot kill them before they get close to Leon, they jump the transport hard, making everyone fall. I discovered that by accident indeed
De todas esas escenas, solo unas pocas en realidad son escenas secretas, la gran mayoria se encuentra de forma natural

I think the point is that they are missable/ you can progress without seeing them even if it's unlikely
Started the OG for the first time yesterday, went back to the cops and saw these. No F way there is so many optional interactions in this game that rewards exploration, I love it.
I‘m taking extra time to explore everything for that reason (also cus I‘m a loot-fiend xD), currently at del lago. I shot the water, knowing what would happen and I still burst out laughing.
Kinda sad there’s no secret cutscenes in the remake
