Anyone else think it's kind of a bummer that the Handcannon isn't the magnum that does the most damage anymore? The Handcannon only has 36 power now, down from it's 99 in the original. The Broken Butterfly with it's exclusive upgrade is at 40 so it actually out damages the Hand Cannon in both Damage per shot, and in DPS since the Broken Butterfly can be fired Faster than the Handcannon.
The Verdugo in the OG takes 9 shots unfrozen. And nitrogen tanks multiplies our damage by 3 so it will take (theoretically) 3 shots from a max upgraded handcannon. The remake severely nerfed the handcannon

The camera pans through the bodies, Leon dodges a swing and it turns it's attention to Leon before letting out that roar?
Well, el gigante in the remake makes more sense, why would you have an uncontollable beast that attacks you the moment it gets a chance, it makes more sense having someone that is actually capable of controlling it
Almost every cutscene in the original is 100x better than the remake. Remake scenes are too rushed and minimalist, whereas in the og they put so much effort into almost all scenes
On my first hard mode play through I thought it'd be fun to buy a rocket (I did it in the OG game a lot) for the Sadler fight. Well that kinda sucked all the fun out of it because I shot 4 magnum rounds then fired the rocket and the boss was dead. Ugh.

The fact that he can be beaten by a single rocket launcher, is dumb honestly. I, however, did like the fact that you had to escape the island in 2 minutes. That made up for the lackluster final boss.

The handcannon should of been 50.0 on damage when fully upgraded with the bonus being infinite ammo and made it hard unlock. It was difficult to get in the original but it was doable for the average player.

Krauser was so much more respectful of Leon in the original... But the end fight against Saddler does tie 4 to 5 nicely with Las Plagas becoming Ouroboros.
