Thank you for this very honest review, Tina. It is refreshing to see someone who is not trying to sell the product, but gives an honest opinion instead. Your playing is fantastic, by the way! 😉
I played through the 12 inch version at a jam in a medium large restaurant venue & was very impressed by the tone & clean headroom. With my Epiphone ES 175. Thanks for the heads up on the reverb.
I have this amp Tina a it's no bad, sounds nice with my ibanez gb10, but i have a cube 80 watts that has que push that the DV d'ont have. In fact the best option is henriksen but the price is the frontier
I have this amp. It is an amazing amp for its size and for the price. The sound is warm and sweet. it is fairly light. I use a small luggage rack when I carry it though. I take it with me to my lessons and classes. The spring reverb is decent when kept low in the mix. It doesn't have enough power for most gigs, at least for me. It sounds a bit warmer than my Heinriksen Bud amp out of the box. The bud has much more power and is more versatile though. My Bud with my pedalboard sounds much better than the Little Jazz, but the Bud is about three times the price and considerably heavier. This amp is a great value and I'm very happy with it.
Thank you for your estimation. I already have a Henriksen The Blut Ten and am considering if I should get the Little Jazz as a more portable amp for jam sessions.
I love that little guy! I've got one too (mine is black), I've played it side by side, for comparison, with my favourite amp of mine: the Yamaha T 100 C (100 W all tube amp, 1x12) that I have since the 90's and I've got it to sound so close I almost couldn't tell the difference! Very warm and clean, like you said. 7 Kg, is still lighter than my Polytone Megabrute (10 Kg) that I once put inside a sports bag with a strap and carried by bycicle (not that I'd recommend carrying amps by bycicle, though) 🙂

Don’t laugh but if you want a 40 watt 10 inch Bugera speaker transistor small combo with real spring reverb that is surprisingly great for jazz, check out the ridiculously cheap but fantastic sounding Behringer HA-40R. Believe me it sounds terrific for jazz both on the clean channel and with a touch of gain to fatten the sound on the overdrive channel, which has master volume. It has a 3 band EQ and both phones and line out. It is very Fender voiced and originally I thought it was a bit bright, but once I figured out the EQ and ran the tone pot on my guitar around 2, it sounded great. It also does creditable blues rock too if that is needed. It is definitely worth a punt at its low price and the spring reverb is so sweet compared to these horrid digital ones.
@@tinajackel You’re welcome👍🏻 It may not be as good as the DV but it is crazy cheap so would make a good fallback or something to use where you don’t want to risk a more expensive amp🎸
I've heard quite a few stories like yours (re DV Mark) happening in the States... I've had the same experience (in Italy) with a guitar, the Ibanez AF2000, after one whole year of postponing they canceled the order. It seems to be the hardest to get guitar...
i use it to have sort of a “drone sound” in my practice room- i would record a sound that i want to get into f.ex. a D7sus4b9 and then play over it with the phrygian scale and just dive into the sound
I got one of these a few yrs back. Took it back, because (as you summarized) it’s a nice little practice amp, but not feasible for gigging (ie, trio and up). Has a good “jazz” tone, but not much beyond that (and, horrible reverb). I think you nailed it here, Tina👍😁.

Rock on!
Thanks very much for review! Lovely clean tone, another solid-state amplifier for me to consider.
Glad you like it!
the DV amps remind me of the old Polytone jazz amps.
Polytone was a heavy amplifier used with accordion players

Indeed! I've got both: a DV Mark Little Jazz and a Polytone Megabrute and the DV is a perfect sub for the Megabrute.
Hmm I should get one of those, could come in handy
yes i want to buy one to! best wishes from Berlin!

I'll try one out. Looks like it will work well on small gigs
Excellent and honest review
Thank you!
best clean sound i heard from an amp was a rivera
by far
Good review... thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I need this amp!
Great review. Nice amp, smooth sound and 40 watts is pretty good.
Thanks
Agreed!
I own this one! Great to hear your thoughts
Hope you enjoy it!
Personally to move around with it i use a little two wheel kart and it's perfect like that
right 😜
Have you tried the YAMAHA THRIIA or KATANA for portability …. AER is too expensive for outdoors
not yet

As a blues player, anything designed for Jazz, suits me for clean blues. Emm, Maybe a Roland 22 over this!
Brunetti Metropolitan, 8.5 kg, 2 channels, if you want a tubeamp...
I ordered one of these from Musician's Friend, after months of being on backorder they canceled the order. 🙃

Which one?
I will check it out

What are the big benefits of having a freeze pedal for practicing purposes? Is it a must have?

What functionality or spec /tone makes it a jazz amp other than the labelling . ?

it’s the new John Scofield vintage model

This amp is absolutely lightweight, or would u rather carry around a fender blues jr??😂
