Hello Bob great interview with Dr. Robert Schliep a teacher of mine and Fascia knowing Dr. Schliep personally the benefits, of working on Fascia is endless. Thank you for putting this on.fascia has been exploding in the past 20 years I actually have contacted you and Brad to try to explain the world of structural integration, also known as Rolfing, and how posture and adhesion release can benefit so many people and certain modalities such as physical therapy, chiropractic ,Massage ,does not usually address this ,Dr. Schliep research the benefits of working on Fascia is endless. as a member of the Fascia Research Congress ,working with Practitioners from around the world discussing the efficacy of fascia Thank you for putting this on.
Dr Schleip is a wealth of information, as well as SUPER entertaining! And he's got a great way of "layman-ising" all his info and his examples are not only easy to visualize but hilariously creative (bears and chickens!!). As a person who is also of German descent (my grandmothers maiden name was Kuechenmeister), I highly approve of this podcast!
I am so glad you had this pod cast. Fascia exercises are so important. My back is killing me. Been doing yoga stretches to get some help. I just got over COVID and I need to keep moving fluid around. Thanks Bob and Brad.
I've been diagnosed with hyper mobility syndrome and myofascial pain syndrome over 10 years ago. I've had chronic plantar fascia for 10 years plus. I've tried everything to no availability. Shots, medications..... I live in constant pain😪

My back aches so bad sometimes. I'm so stiff at times. But a lot I believe my muscles cause a lot because it sore too in upper back. Thank you for this video! Foam rolling has always been very painful for me, no matter where I do it on my body. 😢 Vibrator massage is helpful. My budget hasn't yet allowed me to buy a massage gun. Barefoot is wonderful, especially on sand!
I was avoiding foam rolling because it was painful. Finally tried it with a pool noodle. Ouch! The trick is to find a way to situate yourself so that the first couple times you foam roll, you are able to limit the pressure/weight of the area of your body on the noodle that you want to treat. He shows a couple methods above like doing it against a wall. Start really slow for short periods gradually increasing time and weight/pressure. Look up how to videos on foam rolling and you can find ones that show you ways to ease into it. I wish I didn't put off getting started with this but it really is possible for the pain to stop when the fascia releases. It doesn't get better immediately but you'll see daily improvements,
