I love being inundated with images of traditional african aesthetics in architecture. Definitely here for the much needed African Renaissance, and I truly believe implementation of indigenous African innovation will lead the way.

I believe it's very much possible (but also very much necessary). I feel the way to go about it though is to maybe talk to local rural leadership (kings/queens and advisors and organization leaders). And pitch the idea to them to build a whole village from t the ground up. Maybe enough structures and farmland to support 100-200 people or more. If we only build one house i don't think it will make as much impact in people's mind that it is a solution than if it was a whole reinvented Afrikan community. One that is self-sufficient and self-sustaining. I've also have the thought to build the side roads with mud/clay bricks like pavers instead of tarmac. Took keep and plant as many trees as possible and work with traditional healers to plant healing herbs in a garden and irrigation systems. Light but not too much to see the stars at night. And maybe local hotel/hostel. We can then bring others to the community to promote the ideals behind the creation. I think it will give us a edge to change the minds of the people and hopefully companies like TAFT (West Afrikan company they build communities too but cement based and not self-sustaining) will one day see and recognize the importance of investing in working with nature.. please continue with the work you are doing. You are one of my heroes ✊🏿

A Toguna talk could solve the tension in Niger much easier than military force (which I'm hoping the average soldier is hesitant to involve themselves in)

Another excellent video. This is bringing the whole of Africa's diverse architecture together for all to admire, share and be inspired. Villagers should be visited and shown this video in their local language. Translators are so important if Africa is to treasure it's thousands of first languages and develop sustainably without being dominated by globalisation and concrete architecture which looks the same wherever one goes. Love the photos, let the past inspire the future and localisation influence the rest of the world.❤️🌍🙂

Same as Town planning, who keeps up with the local governments with regards to different regions in the cities because its their lack of development and oversight that allows poor quality properties to spring up all over the place. There are also countries still using western countries building codes and building regulations even though they come from different weather conditions. There's definitely a lot of untapped knowledge from the people who have been on the land for many generations that has been disregarded for far too long, the roots of sustainability is at the core of Africans relationships with their environment and it was abandoned worldwide and now they are all having to try to slow down because they cannot go on like this.

I always ask myself, if I had to choose to listen to government leaders and billionaires who seem to care more about their stomach than the people vs my elders who have sacrificed to maintain traditions that have sustained humanity for 1000's of years who will I choose?

Thank you for your interest and research, I'm inspired to contine R&D on this, especially in creating spaces where this conversation can be had and ideas explored.
    Are there any groups already?

While this is a complement, I think my greatest aspiration to be a leader in my community and find ways to develop and work with leaders in other African tribal community. Unfortunately the president in my country and other African countries is tied down and exhausted from the the local, regional and even international politics. While the title seems lucrative, the role itself has been reduced to appeasing greedy international leaders who want cheap raw materials and labour, creating space for local corrupt leaders who want to sell a piece of the country and continent to the highest bibbed for their own pockets and regionally posturing to one another to boast who is better and has more resources to appease all these people instead of coming together. My greatest joy is to serve all local indigenous communities. Real change happens in small bits, that's what my grandpa told me, and he and my extended family members and leaders have taught that real change starts from the grass roots. With all the degrees I have, I would say they are nothing compared to the few hours I managed to talk and commune with the local leaders. The amount of knowledge I have gained from them have made me realize why for a long time it's been important to others for African and their descendants to be colonized and suppressed. excuse the long text, I am beyond passionate about leadership in the local communities, and thanks for the support. It never goes unnoticed! Little things matter.

UNHCR refers thousands of refugees to a number of countries that have resettlement programs. Canada is a world leader in refugee resettlement, ranking first among 26 countries in 2019 in the resettlement of refugees. Can a Canadian model be implemented in AFRICA for AFRICAN DIASPORA?

Most of this 1 hour 40 minute video is blank with no audio and no video. Is that deliberate? You will get more views and improve algorithm metrics if you fix that. The subject of tribal vs melting pot is one of the most important and least understood subjects today. Hopefully your channel will attract more attention. People in melting pots are trained to sacrifice tribe in favor of industrialization, for the melting pot which conquered their ancestors, but they are building a fire under the kettle they will be cooked in.
