    Excellent video.
You are so inspiring, we need to value traditional architecture and cultures in balance with globalisation. With several thousand languages spoken across Africa and whole planet, thus several thousand micro nations within Africa and around the planet. A rich pool of architectural ideas and solutions to bring together and consult. A living archaeology to investigate, share and develop Pan Africa wide.
The internet is here for us to educate ourselves and you are an inspiring educator.
Do try find as many old photographs as you can to share and inspire 🌍❤️

When I see pictures of Africans in a submissive position example a group of men stooping with harms in the air and two demons with guns it hurt to the core of my being. Our resolve should be NEVER AGAIN. Africa should stop changing to conform to the dictates of the demons. We survived for hundreds of thousands of years on our way of life let's not change that. 🇯🇲

Also, I have been longing to purchase some remote landscape here in the states where i can build and develop an All-Natural village of African and eastern and Primordial Dwellings using earth, mud, bricks, grass/straw, etc, and have being completely Off-The-Grid, yet having many current-day conveniences, such as electricity, running water, indoor AND outdoor kitchen facilities, but yet have NO UTILITY BILLS - energy directly from Nature and The Elements!
I'll get there soon enough, but it's the architecture of Ancient African Dwellings that I'll be using. Grass & Earthen Domes truly inspire me. There are too many techniques to choose from that will work to construct a very beautiful and comfortable home space. I can hardly wait!
Thank you again for your presentations!
    Ahsante sana. Ninakushukuru!

When I look at the Kasubi Tombs made in the 1800s, imagine the marvel that Africa (Uganda) would be if it invested in that method and mode of architecture ❣️. This channel is very unique 💯🔥

😂 Love and appreciate your efforts to present The Truth to Our People!
Watched several of your presentations in a row now! I truly appreciate having a Sistah (or Brotha) bringing forth this knowledge and wisdom!
Too many Africans worldwide have completely forgotten this wisdom.
I AM an African born and raised in the states (the citadel of western lies and African ignorance) and I see and know the need for us to revisit and Resurrect our dwelling architectures, using earth, mud, brick, stones, grass-thatched, and plant poles. This western grid is a joke and an outright abomination to The Natural World and True Community.
    Thanks again Sistah!
    Ahsante sana!

The saddest thing is that we're putting up concrete houses and apartments are cropping up in the villages 😢 😔 sad indeed 😢

That's what saddens me. So called mansions in villages. I pray it stops otherwise, there goes our precious heritage. Villages are our only hope.

Shalom brilliant video as always. We should create a platform network for like minded Africans who want to rebuild Africa using our ancient traditional Architectural systems, even if we sometimes modernise that idea, but still in keeping with our cultural designs and cultural materials to suit each region. There is much value in the humble Hut- great effective engineering and yet so simplistic. Is there such an organisation or a platform or network? Such a platform of African craftsman, architects, artisans, artist, scientist, engineers would counter the invasive western architectural system, and can work together and build, homes, communities, using our ancient architectural systems, and be used to inspire, encourage and display the resurrection of our traditional architecture to our people thereby leading to a renewed mind for our people.

@@mudhousesI admire your vision and it's so much needed, especially for the next generation who are quickly being swallowed up by the so called modern life. I pray that you keep pushing these ideas and never give up. It's rarely talked about and yet so very much needed. Am planning on building a simple African style building too.

This is quite thought provoking. I live in Johannesburg and I can confirm we have almost nothing resembling indigenous Africa from an architectural perspective. Very sad.

True and sad. And most African bloggers are making it worse by showcasing these buildings and bragging about a "developed Africa they don't show you on TV". Smh

@@plizwekup5231 true but also unfortunately we are not innovating with mud. Without new design and adjustment of techniques the people will always see it all the old ways that are outdated and backwards. If we were able to build a new city/town from mud and it be clean and nice without having to replaster the walls every year then we can promote it through vloggers like Wode Maya and hopefully change the narrative

@@Afro_Conservative_Strikes_Back Good point. By creating model mud based buildings, people can then see the possibilities and transition. Like you said, there needs to be innovations. For example, if a two storey house could be built using mad, those who fancy a storeyed house can see the possibility and advantages too. This week I watched a couple of village based films from Burkina Faso and admired a simple two roomed double storey family home built from mad and by the community. And true, African vloggers like Wode Maya should promote this. Time to get back to our roots.

Africa has the best traditional architecture and its often copied. Africans dont appreciate their traditional style. Theyre trying so hard to keep up with trends. What attracts so many tourists to Asian and European countries is their traditional architctural styles

@@user-yb2of8mv4d I never mentioned anything about mud dear and ancient African architectural structures and techniques are very diverse. Its not limited to mud. Stone, bamboo, reed, brick, etc are material ancient Africans used. Much of ancient African architecture used quality sustainable material and Africans should return to that

“When Westerners meet Africans, their first question is, “Is Africa developed? Do you have tall buildings, High-Rises and Sky Scrapers?” This immediately psychologically, demolishes any sense of preserving and promoting our Traditional Architecture, by totally extinguishing whatever is left of our African identity, Cultural attitude, Ethnic essence, while disabling our collective consciousness. “
