Excellent song and reaction. Yes, that's Jim, died at the age of 27. The Doors have their own unique sound. From late 60's, they are from Loa Angeles. Every Doors song is worth a listen. Enjoy discovering!😊🎉❤
The harmonica was played by John Sebastian. He formerly of the Lovin' Spoonfuls. He also wrote "Welcome Back Cotter". The Doors were basically a 60's band.
The Doors are way more than just an L.A. rock band they change the sound the look and the attitude of rock music. they were the last of the rock 'n' rollers and the first of the rockers, They are one of the most influential and transformative bands in music history. Love em or hate em they changed what we listen to today 50+ years after Jim died.
The Doors were among the most controversial & influential rock acts of the 60's, mostly due to Jim Morrison's lyrics & voice. They had a lot of great songs such as "Riders On The Storm", "L.A. Woman", "Love Me Two Times", "The End", "Break On Through (To The Other Side)", "People Are Strange", "Light My Fire", "Hello, I Love You", "Touch Me", "The Unknown Soldier", "Love Her Madly". Sadly Jim Morrison died in 1971 at the age of only 27 but left a great legacy of music.
The photo of that cover was taken in 1967.By the time Roadhouse blues was released it was 1970 and The Doors released their 5th album and the doors went for a bluesier feel .Prior to that Doors were psychedelic, little blues, some jazz, classical ,dark, gothy sound with poetry.
First time I heard this album I was tripping my ass off. Totally blew me away. 1970. Yes jim morrison died at the age of twenty seven putting him in the twenty seven club. Peace ✌️
Great reaction again The Doors one of my top 5 bands of all time and yes Jim Morrison died too early he is part of the 27 club not only was he smart and a great song writer he was a phenomenal poet. The Doors have a great selection of music
The Doors were all over the musical spectrum. Rock, blues, pop, country. And deep lyrics psychedelic... "When the music's over" and, "The end" are a couple examples.
Liberty Belle is fine fine fine. Capital F. I. N. E. Love your handle/moniker. God bless America. The Doors are America’s finest. You two go together like a rock and a roll.
You never heard the Doors?? My Dad's fave! I had all the albums. I know every song. 😄😁 Jim is one of the 27 'club'. Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin, died at 27.. RIP☮🙏
Some of their most mainstream songs were, "Light My Fire" (probably their biggest one), "People Are Strange", "Riders on the Storm" (That one and the 1st one, may give you that same "another kind of plane" feeling.), "Love Me Two Times", & "L.A. Woman". Enjoy!
Holy crap, I've been watching reaction videos to The Doors for a long time since they're one of my go-to bands just in general, and you really REALLY got the vibe right. From the get go you had the credibility and feel to react to them, that's sounds like a weird thing to say... But you "got" it. Whatever "it" is. I have never ever requested a reaction from anyone, but if you'd do "The Changeling" for some more of that fancy swamp boat vibe, I'd be sharing it with everyone I know over here in not-so-swampy Finland. Thank you!
I loved The Doors, bought every album ASAP (and wore them out), and memorized most of their songs. They may not have been the original "bad boys" of R&R, but I think they were the only band ever kicked off the all-important Ed Sullivan Show. Also, they declined an invitation to perform at Woodstock...not their smartest decision. My picks for additional reactions to The Doors: "Light My Fire", "Hello, I Love You", "Break On Through", and "Love Me Two Times." I'm a sucker for syncopation, and The Doors used it a lot!
Greatest road trip music ever, got a speeding fine listening to the doors hitting the great Ocean road oops😏😎 LB:You've got the perfect nonchalant blues groove for this Nothing wrong with being inside your own head, it's nice to have company sometimes 😅
"Maggie McGill," from this same album is pretty good. It's never reviewed. Also a great spoken word interstitial is "Horse Latitudes." Just 1 minute and 35 seconds long. The lyrics below: When the still sea conspires an armor And her sullen and aborted currents Breed tiny monsters True sailing is dead Awkward instant And the first animal is jettisoned Legs furiously pumping Their stiff green gallop And heads bob up Poise Delicate Pause Consent In mute nostril agony Carefully refined And sealed over
The Spanish sailing the oceans had to throw horses overboard when the became sick. Its what you could picture. Maggie? Illegitimate son of a rock and roll star. Mom met dad in the back of a rock an roll car. Ĺ
Liberty, another great reaction, you really felt the vibe on this one. You should go down the rabbit hole of Doors music. Might I suggest "Soul Kitchen" from the Absolutely Live Album....you'll love it.
🦎"Celebration Of The Lizard"🦎 You want to go deep? Want to close your eyes and be transported to the ancient past? From the LP Absolutely Live, this is the track so few dare react.
It's all Jimmy, honey! Listen to "cars hissed by my Window" That'll blow your way too! and that one's by jimmy, it's A real Bluezy Tune! ..... I employ you to give that one a listen too❤️🔥💝❤️🩹
You're very entertaining and funny! I am really into classic rock, here are some to consider. 🤔"L.A. Woman" is a good choice for your next Doors reaction. How about Black Sabbath "Lord Of This World" or Judas Priest "You've Got Another Thing Coming". Great reaction.😇
Not Louisiana swamp music, it is LA! No categories needed with the Doors. Just Rock and good. Oh, non-of my Sheepies liked my harmonica playing either!
See? Now I moved a lot so I made friends with librarians cause you always have a friend if you have a book. However, my parents weren't as cloying as yours so I had access to all music. It's possibly because my parents were less caring and searching for a way to occupy me so I'd be out of their hair. In the end I became Peter Pan and didn't accept responsibility until my 40's. My Dad bought me Sticky Fingers by the Stones. Yes Close to the Edge and LA Woman by The Doors. He also had me working when I was 14 so I had my own motorcycle and great stereo system. Loved music but still had my head in books. Maybe your dogs just want to join in.
This song was recorded in 1969, All rock and roll is based on blues. So is country, hip hop and RnB. Techno music is based on video games, fake music. Every part of modern music is an offshoot of the blues. Hard rock, soft rock, yacht rock, folk rock, blues rock, guitar rock, Heavy metal, pop............all blues.
An under rated sub culture in America. Highly educated, if you don't have one on your staff your missing. Yeah they can go off the walls in their 20s but at 35 they are worth keeping.
He was a rock-performance artist- poet. Did all kinds of genres of music.
I don't understand why young people have a hard time with is it blues or rock. Rock is the blues, just a more modern version. 😮
still a timeless banger
DO IT ROBBIE DO IT!

This IS rock and roll. It IS the blues. They are the same. Rock is just turned up, sped up, and fuzzed up (distorted) blues. ❤
You get why this guy was a superstar in the era of the beatles.

The Doors and dogs. Two of my favorite things 😊
First time I heard this album I was tripping my ass off. Totally blew me away. 1970.
Yes jim morrison died at the age of twenty seven putting him in the twenty seven club. Peace ✌️
OH YES more DOORS Please do LIGHT MY FIRE LIVE from the ED Sullivan show and LA WOMAN and RIDERS ON THE STORM great reaction !!
Great reaction again The Doors one of my top 5 bands of all time and yes Jim Morrison died too early he is part of the 27 club not only was he smart and a great song writer he was a phenomenal poet. The Doors have a great selection of music

Listened to the Doors since I was in the womb... mom had headphones... and Im a '71 baby... the year he died
60s. Another great blues cover by the Doors, “Backdoor Man.” Written by Willie Dixon.
Blues music was a big ingredient in early rock music
This is the best work the Doors ever did!!!!
You dont get the Psychedelic drive to the music and the era. For sure the best period in history to be young.
Eres una mujer encantadora , muy divertida y sabes también que los Doors son un conjunto de gran calidad musical.
THE DOORS SONG THE END. IT WILL REALLY TAKE YOU PLACES IN YOUR IMAGINATION
Love it, love you !!
Liberty Belle is fine fine fine. Capital F. I. N. E. Love your handle/moniker. God bless America. The Doors are America’s finest. You two go together like a rock and a roll.

The best groups take various musical styles and make them their own.
Crystal Ship, LA Woman, Love Street, Whiskey Bar are good songs to try. Thanks.
Haven't even heard any lyrics yet from old jimmy's mouth and I think i'm already in love with you, honey, I like your style!
AWESOME !!!!
Thanks!!
"Love me two times" next please.
Any song that makes you dance in your seat I consider a good song.
Some of their most mainstream songs were, "Light My Fire" (probably their biggest one), "People Are Strange", "Riders on the Storm" (That one and the 1st one, may give you that same "another kind of plane" feeling.), "Love Me Two Times", & "L.A. Woman". Enjoy!
That is a ribcage with 2 skulls connected to it. Awesome.
Love your reaction. Listen to all Doors songs. You fit right in with them. They do all kinds of music. Yes even beats from the 1920s.
You rock it:)
It's hard not to love you....🧡
I'M IN MY 80s COULD WE MOVE THIS A LONG PLEASE.
Your doggies had me CACKLING! 😂!!!
Im learning so much about Liberty and I am soaking it up like a sponge ))
This is the first time that you heard this! Holy shit! lol You youngin's.
Besides the Allman Brothers the Doors were the American band influenced by blues. And this is probably the best blues song written.
The Kids from Florida were on track to be Americas greatest Band. As young as the Doors when they burst onto the scene.
Damm girl, that's a reaction 😮Do Waiting for the Sun by the Doors 🙏
Jim is a member of the "27 club." It refers to all the celebrities, mostly musicians, who died at the age of 27.
Keep it up, your a natural at this.
I feel like I have no idea as to what I am doing LOL but thanks.
Cool reaction. Very free wheelin' 😂🎉
Big smile girl 😊

Thanks for the suggestion!
For more blues check out "Fever" by Little Willie John, or "Harlem Nocturne" by the Viscounts.
And for another wowzers blues song, check out "The Bluest Blue," by Alvin Lee. The slide guitar was played by the late George Harrison.
Even the dog was getting in to it.

Strongly suggest you listen to Light My Fire!
"Did he die young, or something like that?" Yeah, something like that.
Very entertaining. Cheers
You need the live version in NY 1969.
Liberty, another great reaction, you really felt the vibe on this one. You should go down the rabbit hole of Doors music. Might I suggest "Soul Kitchen" from the Absolutely Live Album....you'll love it.
Great suggestion!
2:18 Morrison didn't really like that image of him as time (short though it was) went by.
marry me!!! Youre amazing
love you ms Belle, you are wild and crazy
Liberty Bell you are so fun
you maybe know their iconic songs "riders on the storm" or "light my fire". if not, check them out. it´s very worth it.
1:17 Doggies!
Break On Through. LA Woman
Janis Joplin “Summertime” live.
Love your doggos. For a bluesy song, check out "Cars Hiss By My Window" on their album LA Woman. A real slow blues.
The Doors are like an early American Pink Floyd... they are their own trip... an experience, not just music.
Morrison's iconoclastic '60's Doors recordings were anything but "traditional". Suggestion: "When the music's over"
The Doors have been my theme music in my life
Jim tells the story of my life
🦎"Celebration Of The Lizard"🦎

(March, 2024). Thank you.
Suggest you react to the song by Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit 🐰
The dogs were telling you to play the song and not your harmonica
Yeah don't pin down Morrison except he is from LA. His dad was an Admiral so he was a military brat.
An under rated sub culture in America. Highly educated, if you don't have one on your staff your missing. Yeah they can go off the walls in their 20s but at 35 they are worth keeping.
