2023年3月11日(土)・12日(日)にEX THEATER ROPPNGIにて、新ベーシストfamiを迎えた新体制で行なった、復活公演「WE ARE THE RESURRECTION」。
2021年4月以来、約2年ぶりにファンの前に姿を現した初日の公演（2023年3月11日）を余すところなく完全収録！
Blu-rayとDVDには、当日のバックステージの様子を捉えた「ビハインド・ザ・シーンズ（舞台裏映像）」と、SikThのマイキー・グッドマンがナレーションを担当したオープニング映像を追加収録。またライヴ映像本編には、副音声としてメンバーによるコメンタリー付き。

高校1年の時にD.パープルのBURNを聴いてなんてカッコいいんだ！と感動して以来HR/HMにはまりました。長くそれから離れていましたがまた最近戻って昔のバンドを聴いたりしています。
で、UA-camでLOVEBITESを知ってあの高1の時のBURNのような衝撃を受けました。テクニック等の難しい事は分かりませんが上手いしカッコいいと思いました。女性から見てもカッコいいです。
バンド内では紆余曲折あったようですが落ち着き再出発できて本当に良かったです。
LOVEBITESから見たらおばあちゃんですが影ながら応援してます。もっともっと世界に羽ばたいていって下さい！

The addition of Fami to this already transcendent band has brought new energy and a sense of destiny. Their excellence is difficult to overstate, and they stand on the brink of achieving greatness and securing their place in the annals of music and heavy metal history.
Asami slays on vocals, Haruna slays on drums, Miyako shreds on guitar and piano, Midori shreds on guitar, and now Fami shreds on bass. Each and every one of them are so fun to watch!
I think their understanding of how great the lineup of talent is, gives them joy, which they can then communicate to the audience.

There is something really speciaal about Lovebites. I've been in the music industry for well over 30 years, I've worked at major labels and in major market radio, and in that time I have only ever geeked out over three bands. Dream Theater the first time I heard them back in 92 when Images and Words was released, 2015 when I stumbled upon Amaranthe, and now Lovebites. I had never heaerd of them until Elizabether reacted to Holy War last week. Since then I have binge listened to everything they have put out. I even got up at 4:30 am here in Seattle this morning so I could watch the premier of their new DVD concert. These ladies have absolutely incredible.

@@ChadTheDragonLord I'm reaching out to every program director I know at rock stations across the country, especially those in my own company. I'm also reaching out to a few managers I know and trying to get on the phone with them to discusss getting the ladies booked on at least one major tour as a support act here in the U.S. I'm pretty sure they haven't played here yet.

What I don't want is for them to be relegated to playing on a tour that only puts them in small theater venues like the ones Dragonforrce and Amaranthe will be playing in this fall. I want to find them a supporting gig on an arena tour. They need to be playing in front of crowds of 10k and larger.

please help spread the word, their label does very little to promote them outside of Japan, and have gotten to where they are internationally due to social media, these ladies very much deserve to be a big name in the Metal Genre as a whole.

Lovebites is phenomenal. They won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. Midori and Miyako are among the greatest metal guitar duos ever. Song after song is amazing, they play fast and they play hard, and they also mix in softer songs and ballads. But mostly it is a mix of thrash metal and power/speed metal. My favorite band along side Iron Maiden.

Ive been listening frpm deep purple to sepultura, feom Metallica to helloween, from yngwie malmsteen to king diamond, judas priest, irom maiden etc but from the moment i discovered you i became addictive to your muaic. @@darwinism14 Not sure if you have listened to their 4 full albums and 3 mini albums. Yes, they are the pretty much the best now within the power/heavy metal genre. They simply can't write bad songs. I have seen enough metal bands to make this statement (30+ years).
You are so right with this ! Exactly my thoughts ! If this band would have existed in the 80s when I started to listen to heavy metal as a teenager they would for sure have been my absolute number 1 ! But they are now my number 1 and I hope they will continue exactly as they do !

So refreshing when you actually see world class musicians actually creating something new and as powerful as anything created in the genre back in the old days.
Gotta admit, have never been a big metal fan. I like the old classic rock (Stones, Zep, Cream, Lynnyrd, etc) and even got out of that because so much of it was about kid stuff: teen angst, hormones, aggro stupidity...then I hear this and how can it be resisted?? So much energy! So fast, so powerful, so precise! And all coming from these tiny Japanese women! It is truly a thing of wonder. Iove it, and each of them is more remarkable than the next.

As many have pointed out, Fami has infused LOVEBITES with a fresh energy. Back in the 1970s, being a Deep Purple fan, I used to think that hard rock were all about 'serious faces' and 'grim expressions' while playing. So, when I saw EVH playing the guitar with a big smile in MVs like 'Jump' and 'Hot For Teacher' in the 1980s, I remember feeling a bit perplexed. Fast forward 40 years, and watching these girls joyfully and intensely play at lightning speed in this video, I can't help but exclaim, 'Damn, this is absolutely fantastic!' 🤯✨🥰🤘

ラブバイツの音楽ははミヤコさんの音楽の才能と他メンバーも含めて、もちろんマオさんのバックアップも有り素晴らしい曲が盛り沢山なんですよね、私も2年くらい前にUA-camのおすすめで偶然知りましたが一発で只者ではないと思いました。これは凄いと、音楽の技術はもちろん作曲も素晴らしいので殆ど悪い曲が無いんですよ。私の個人的な意見ですがメタルロックバンドではレジェンドを除けばナンバーワンだと感じていますね。
何を変にネガティブに捉えてるのかわからんけどjapanese metalは日本で結成されたとか日本人によるという意味であって決して日本レベルというネガティブな意味では無いてw
なんなら世界的に見れば日本のメタルは昔から十分レベル高い方で日本より上なのはアメリカとかヨーロッパの極一部だけやろ

Is Victor Entertainment holding this band back? They need better promotion overseas because their talents are among the elite metal bands of the world.
Without a doubt Victor Ent. is the big problem of Lovebites. Unfortunately we don't know what kind of contract or management is behind the band. But it is obvious that there is a clear lack of promotion. A band of this level cannot be touring as if it were a group of friends who get together from time to time. It's a shame to see them out of summer festivals in Europe and the US. Absolutely incomprehensible.

My favorite Japanese metal band, regardless of gender, is LOVEBITES 😉 What's the difference between them and babymetal, nemophila, bandmaid, etc.? Anyway, the sound production is amazing 🎀🎀 The overall balance, especially the quality of the mastering is the best 😀 Also, the fact that 5 people including miyako and mao are participating in the sound production, and we are also conscious of the fact that we are a world-class band. The engineers working there are also amazing! ! 🤩This symphonic heavy metal is full of variety, the sound of the twin guitars is thick, and the chorus is filled with Japanese-style phrases that keep you bored until the end. , although the main idea is a little different, other female bands such as nemophila and bandmaid play by bringing Japanese elements to the forefront, so they are received in an exotic way. The world tour will start from June 14th, 2024 at New Cross Inn (London) and end at Prog Power (USA) on September 6th.It will be more recognized than ever in the world and will definitely be a big hit.✨✨✨✨

So epic! The single best part of this performance is during the Fami/Asami solo section. The way Asami looks over at Fami and smiles giving the thumbs up saying "You go girl! Nailed it!" was beautiful to see. Such energy, power and positivity!
I missed that at first viewing. Thanks for pointing it out. I can't even imagine how much fun Fami is having during that performance. I doubt she slept much that night.
If you're to a make a statue of a warrior, look at Midori during her solo, that what a statue of a great metal warrior looks like.

I watched this video ar least 10x in a row now! What an amazing performance from every single member of the band. They sound incredible and Asami looking at Fami at 3.27 and giving her a big smile + thumbs up perfectly sums up the atmosphere in the band. Can't wait to see these girls play live ❤

ベースの心配は無用でした、famiさんのレベル十分lovebitesレベルでした。8月の福岡初参戦します。コンサート全くの初なので少し心配
演奏に迫力が増し、この舞台装置（青黒と白い衣装、レーザーのコントラスト）も素晴らしいし、カメラワーク・編集も良いし、音質のミックスも素晴らしい。
これはLOVEBITESメンバーと関わったスタッフの見事な仕事で、復活LOVEBITES一曲目ハマーの圧巻の演奏を見事に映像化していると思う（自分は二日目の参戦ですが、、、）。
そこにメンバーのコメンタリーが今回は収録されるので楽しみです。「FOAK」のコメンタリーも楽しめたのですが、海外の方も楽しめるように英語訳とかあれば最高ですね。
あと２曲目の公開も楽しみ。できれば今回は３曲くらい奮発してくれたら、、、（Blu－ray当然買いますが、多くの方にライヴを観て欲しいという願望あり）
