Hi Tommy! Thanks again for the review. I just got the green algae and I can't wait to play it. Slight wide feet represent! Last shoes I got was my PG6 and Son of Flash, your review is on point. Thanks again!

Thank you! Yes great shoe for sure, would be better with a discount 😃 Tbh I only copped the black pair cause Nike had an in-store event lol they turned out to be fantastic.
I found one still sitting at our local Nike Store. On a discount and grabbed a pair for my daughter. The over all support is great. The only thing we notice is the lace being too short because her feet are a little bulky in around the middle portion. Thanks Tom! ❤❤❤

feedback from a guy that recently bought it from taiwan: original price was 6600 (new taiwan dollars) it had a discount and it became 4600, the akoya colorway in the outlet i bought it from came slightly damaged on the tongue as it seemed like a person pressed down on it, I haven’t worn it yet (i am looking to wear it.) as per the version of the shoe it’s an EP (i don’t actually know why but it’s the same on the site), another thing to consider is the outlet you buy it from. Small note: they have all of the colorways in EVERY outlet (atleast i think, though it still applies to the outlet you check)
I got orange one, had to go trough few sessions before they started to break in, outer shell it quite hard, the heal cup at base is still almost too hard. Breathability is huge issue, so big that I went to my local shoes repair and they made me 3 eyelets at the bottom inside, going through insole, similar style as Chuck Taylors. Zoom bags feel bottom loaded and hard to press much more stiff in comparison vs AJ 35 low. Otherwise it's nice to play.
I stopped hooping for years and needed some new kicks recently. Retired my super comfy Westbrook shoes from years ago, too warn out now. They were the most comfiest hoop shoes I ever wore, the Jordan Why Not zer0.2. So I went into the store last month, only shoes that fit my foot comfortably (wide foot), were the Lebron Next Gen and these Lebron 21's. I chose the Lebron Next Gen shoes because they were slightly cheaper and I struggle with foot pain too often with most basketball shoes (most just too narrow). So I thought, might as well save money if I don't know what the heck I'm going to feel like after a few hours hooping in them. Tried easing into them for a break-in period to be safe, running but not full sprint, not going full vertical jump often. But surely enough after a few weeks, I started getting foot pain once I started running and jumping hard in my Lebron Next Gen's. Pain in the foot bottom, just in the forefoot area. So now I'm moving on to these. They look like they got great cushion, so I'm happy to try them out! And I'd say they look better than the Lebron 20's since everyone likes comparing the two designs. 🙂 And I'm glad I'm getting them at the right time. A color I like seems like it's dropping right now, in this hot blue color way called Abalone Pearl. Thanks for the great basketball shoe reviews! All the details with grip levels, bounce, cushion .. much appreciated. 😎
@@BobRoss-wm3lc Love the Lebron 21's! I've had them for like 3 months now. Super comfy, there is great cushion, and it's not too heavy. These shoes fit me perfect, which is odd because I always struggle finding new basketball shoes. I have wide feet, and these have decent room with the width space. I also have flat feet, so these are great because they have good arch support if you look at the insoles. I bought the Abalone Pearl colorway, so the translucent bottoms. And with the translucent bottoms, there is soo much grip with the clean court that I play on. However, I've been playing at 75% because I'm healing a couple injuries. So I'm not attempting to jump full vert, or running my top speed. But it feels like these shoes would still be comfy and very high performance when I decide to kick it up a notch. I'd currently rate them 10/10 👍
@@INumba1Stunna thanks for the review. I unfortunately don’t have any indoor courts that I can play on, do you think it’s okay to play in these outdoors? I got 2 color-ways for cheap like 90 and 80 dollars including that awsome Abalone colorway so it’s not like I’m okaying with the original 200 dollar sneakers outdoors.
@@BobRoss-wm3lc I was about to say, I bought them for $270 CAD. No way I'm wearing that on concrete outside. 😂 Okay makes sense since you got a discount. Some colorways for the Lebron 21's have solid rubber bottoms instead. I would probably prefer those outdoor, over the super soft grippy translucent bottoms. I have a feeling the translucent bottoms might get destroyed quick outside, but I have never tried it so what do I know. Also, I forgot to mention. The Abalone Pearl colorway, the material of the shoes, makes them crease so easy. That's my only dislike with the shoe. So update, I rate them 9/10 when thinking about that lol.
Thanks for your very solid points. The Lebron 20 and 21 give me a feeling that Nike wants to pause and focus its flagship shoes on performance rather than design. Interestingly, Adidas' recent models, the Harden Vol. 7 and the Anthony Edwards 1 are going in the exact opposite direction of bold designs. I think it'll be significant to see how the consumers react to these two different tracks of products from their sales in the future. Also curious about whether you favor design or performance, would like to hear lol, peace.
🙏🙏 I would always consider myself to be “performance-driven”, but you know looks play a huge part too it’d be a lie if I said I didn’t care about the styles on court. Adidas has stepped it up recently indeed!
I actually have this issue in the reverse, in that I just got the Abalone colorway and have had 3 pairs of the Tahitians. None of the Tahitians had the same pop and noticeable Zoom Turbo the Abalones do, almost feel like different shoes (other than the upper obviously). The Abalones have a firmer midsole and Zoom, still soft enough for comfort and compression with the Cushlon. The shank of the Abalones also is more noticeable and gives the shoe more pop and snap. The Tahitians feel like I’m closer to the floor and don’t have nearly the same amount of bouncy tension from the midsole. The Tahitian Zoom Turbo almost feels like a flat tire in comparison. Again, due to midsole separation and sizing I’ve gone through 3 Tahitians and they’ve all felt the exact same. Sad because they performed great and are the best looking but I can’t seem to land a pair with a midsole that feels as good as the Abalone pair and is worth the $200 price tag.
Out the box these things are super tight. Haven’t played in them yet, but I think they’ll mold to my feet eventually. The cushioning does feel nice though
Bought the Freshwater colorway, went true to size even though in wide footed since when i was fitting them at the store it felt nicer (was choosing between the KD16). Fast forward to using it on the court, the boys had me rush to wesr it since the game is starting and i just laced it up tight. It was comfortable from the jump untol 5-10 min later my feet were hurting which is a common issue for me. I thought it was the shoe itself then i remembered i didnt lace it up the usual way i do it. I loosened up the second eyelet and behold no more foot pain. Replaced my kd15s with this shoe. Weight feels virtually the same but the comfort of the lebron 21s is a MUST
Hi Tommy. Can you please upload a video on how you tie your lebron 21? The shoe lace are too short for a tight knot, and they come loose during the middle of the game
I'm US size 10.5 and upsized to 11 as 10.5 fits super snug. Fits perfectly to me and little to no break-in time. Easy recommendation to friends. Cons to tahitian colorway. I don't know how to clean the black top seems to be a dirt magnet. Sad but performance wise, one of the best.
Does the outer shell for the Melo Melo get creases or scratches over time? I'm planning to buy them but they don't look very durable for the materials on the outer shell. (my opinion)

@@TommyLiu4 thanks! im currently wearing the dame 8s. do you think gt hustle 2 is a good upgrade? thus far, dame 8 is the best shoe i've ever played with, flat and wide footed friendly. i might even buy another pair of dame 8s as backup
Are you sure this is your true size? Pause at 4:21, you can clearly tell that you can put at least 2 fingers behind your heel. It's almost in every single shoe review, they all look like they are too big for your feet. Great review by the way. Always looking forward for the next one!
Yes, intense movements on purpose - all look like that on the clips, hard to avoid confusion I apologize. Some shoes that fit super tight going TTS look like heel slippage in the footage. And thank you!
That happens all the time when your toes are pushed forward so much inside during these clips - hard to not show that, I’d personally rather do these B-rolls still for forefoot traction.
@@oskarsrdanov1582 Yes LeBron’s I feel like you can size up too to make sure there’s enough room. Fit is a little different depending on which colorway too kinda annoying lol
Just watched this again, Tommy! I think the 21's are the best LeBron of all time! (depending on the colorway though.) 20's are more consistent when it comes to performance. But if you cop the right colorways on the 21's. (Tahitian, Conchiolin, etc.) They're 10/10. Premium feels every time!
Not too sure about the sizing tho, I bought them in a size 11 (which I have been doing for years in Nike shoes), but had to return them due to the narrow midfoot
was really tempting in copping these because I saw it on sale but decided not to and stick on my Bron 20s lol, I just don't think this is well worth upgrade from the last years model. However, thank you for serving us a great review tommy!
What do you think would be better between the Tahitian colorway & the lime green colorway with the suede upper? They're both 50% off, so I'm debating between the two. I was thinking about the Dragon Pearl colorway too until I saw your video.
I don’t have that other one so can’t be sure sorry. Might just come down to your preference with the look they should be similar, and better than the patent leather colorways.
Hey Tommy, first time watcher and newly subscribed: Was seeing what your opinions are on the Lebron 21 Blue Divers? They recently released not too long ago and if I'm not mistaken they are also translucent and glow in the dark
Is the fit same as the immortality 3? I have a very wide foot. My size is 10 but I have 10.5 on immortality 3. What size should I order for my wide foot?
in terms of width and fit, would you say its more comfortable than the lebron 20? I had issues with the 20 hurting the sides of my feet and my pinkies.
bro quick question, I had the LeBron 21 Akoya, but I felt that I was not getting good side containment, making my fee hurt. Do the black one material provide better support? I really enjoyed the cushion system and I am trying to get a pair for my rotation.
Are the tahitan Lebron 21's good for a small and shifty player, like a guard (I play both volleyball and basketball, but my playstyles are diffrent). Do they crease?
@TommyLiu4 Hey Tommy, I'm debating between the Akoyas and the Conchilion. Do you think the uppers of the Akoyas will be more durable than the Conch? Does the translucent outsole wear out faster than the regular ones?
If you have very wide feet maybe go up a half size, otherwise they’re right around average width. As for my super flat feet, I was better off in the black colorway also and LeBron’s typically aren’t the most ideal for flat feet tbh.
Dragon pearl had torn upper after 2h indoor play.. return them but since I really lile them I ordered a new pair, just the upper material is not durable at all.
not regarding the lebrons but which will be better for outdoor forward/center, the ja 1’s or kd16. rn they’re the same price at dicks, or the zoom freak 5
Really appreciate your content Tommy 👌🏻 Btw, can you rank these four pairs? Anta Shockwave 5, Liren 3 V2, Wade Ac11 v2 and Puma All Pro Nitro. Thank you so much
yo tommy hope u reply to this, i got the zoom freak 4s rn as a point gaurd and they feel and look big idk why. what shoe would u recommend if im not looking for big chunky shoes? preciate ir ❤❤
For clarification, it's lighter with translucent outsole and heavier with solid rubber, or was it the upper materials that affect the weight? And how much does freshwater and akoya weigh?
So far nope… I just played some half-court pickups no full-court action yet, also that may depend on playing style too I think. I’ll update if any damage occurs!
Just played in there today and I gotta say, I was not impressed at all in any aspect, maybe just the cushioning. They also run very small, I wear a 10.5 and they were smashing my big toe.
@@MarvFitBikesKicks Oh I see, my black pair does fit a little bit tighter than the patent leather one too. That’s good at least you could test it out and get your money back.
Performance wise, great. However, after using it twice (tahitian black), already looks like a year old shoe. Dirt magnet and hard to clean. Returned the item already. Will wait for the kobe on the 15th tho.
I believe you should take your time in breaking them in. I was gonna cop and we have the same size but after reading this comment, I'm in doubt now lol

Oh well well! I just scoop two pairs on nike when they had 30% off lol. Can’t wait for them to arrive.
Can you do a review for nike precision 6 flyease? I'm thinking of purchasing it. Thanks!
Hey Tommy, first time watcher and newly subscribed:
Was seeing what your opinions are on the Lebron 21 Blue Divers? They recently released not too long ago and if I'm not mistaken they are also translucent and glow in the dark
Hey, appreciate you watching! That one should be very similar to the Dragon Pearl.
@@TommyLiu4 excellent, thank you so much amigo!
Do you think the suede on the black pearls will be an issue When it comes to sweat?
Should be fine I didn’t mind it
Great shoe, i love playing in my dragon pearls
Has anyone played in "Algae" colorway?
Can you review the anta kyrie sweep 5? I think it is the best under rated shoes.
Shock Wave 5? I have a vid on both versions.
Is the fit same as the immortality 3? I have a very wide foot. My size is 10 but I have 10.5 on immortality 3. What size should I order for my wide foot?
Hey Tommy, great vid as usual! Which would you recommend, Harden vol 7 or these?
Hey, thank you! These.
Thanks a lot
in terms of width and fit, would you say its more comfortable than the lebron 20? I had issues with the 20 hurting the sides of my feet and my pinkies.
Yes
bro quick question, I had the LeBron 21 Akoya, but I felt that I was not getting good side containment, making my fee hurt. Do the black one material provide better support? I really enjoyed the cushion system and I am trying to get a pair for my rotation.
Hey man, yes I think so - slightly better containment from the black colorway based on my experience.
@@TommyLiu4 thank you. i really enjoy your reviews
@@d.brianrodriguez491 Thank you!! 🤛
i like my Aroya 21's but they are hot and traction suffers on dusty court and need cleaning regularly...
What’s the beat called in the first moments of the video?
Do you recommend using the stock insoles or use my move game day insoles?
@@trillipino I think Game Day does elevate your experience by a little bit at least. 😃
@@trillipino Regular Game Day though no need for the Pro in my opinion.
Hey Tommy, what do you prefer, AE 1 or lebron 21? I am planning to buy but I can't decide which one.
LeBron 21 - I’ll always read all the comments don’t worry 😅
wsg bro im a center are these shoes good for me or should i get some diffrent shoe any recommandations
Hey, yes I think so these are good. 😃
I have da tahitians cw and straight out of the box its good no need to break in bites hard
Are the tahitan Lebron 21's good for a small and shifty player, like a guard (I play both volleyball and basketball, but my playstyles are diffrent). Do they crease?
Yes they crease.
Thanks
Hey Tommy, you getting (& reviewing) the j11 gratitude? Or is that an automatic pass for you? 😊
Hey, umm I think I’m taking a break from the 11s this year. Beautiful shoe though!
@TommyLiu4 Hey Tommy, I'm debating between the Akoyas and the Conchilion. Do you think the uppers of the Akoyas will be more durable than the Conch? Does the translucent outsole wear out faster than the regular ones?
Hey! Yeah I’d go for the Akoya personally. Outsole is durability is about the same from my experience. 😃
Are they good for wide feet and/or flat feet? been having my feet cramp a lot and its so bad
If you have very wide feet maybe go up a half size, otherwise they’re right around average width. As for my super flat feet, I was better off in the black colorway also and LeBron’s typically aren’t the most ideal for flat feet tbh.
@@TommyLiu4 u got any shoe suggestions for like someone who has a problem with cramping? also love ur videos btw bro 🐐
@@BigBaz__785 Thank you!! 🙏 GT Hustle 2
Dragon pearl had torn upper after 2h indoor play.. return them but since I really lile them I ordered a new pair, just the upper material is not durable at all.
Hi Tommy, did you experience soreness in these. I am also a floot foot person
Hi, yeah a little bit.
Thank you! How about GT hustle? @@TommyLiu4
@@MaxYueLi 🤛 Much better for flat feet based on my experience.
not regarding the lebrons but which will be better for outdoor forward/center, the ja 1’s or kd16. rn they’re the same price at dicks, or the zoom freak 5
or the sabrina 1’s, i’m looking for bounce and cushion
Either the KD 16 or Zoom Freak 5. For outdoor use probably Freak 5
Looking for the black pair when they go on sale , got the akoya for 25% off
For sure, I got the black pair for 25% off via an in-store event - imagine paying the same price for a pair of Skechers… 😅
Really appreciate your content Tommy 👌🏻 Btw, can you rank these four pairs? Anta Shockwave 5, Liren 3 V2, Wade Ac11 v2 and Puma All Pro Nitro. Thank you so much
🙏 Liren 3 V2 to me is the best one.
Did these start out very snug out of the box and get more comfortable and loosen a little over time?
No not a snug toe box from my experience but it is kind of a weird toe box fit lol
Any clue whats the weight of the akoya/freshwater?
Thank you for the amazing sneakers review ser Tom 👍👌💪🇵🇭
🙏❤️
yo tommy hope u reply to this, i got the zoom freak 4s rn as a point gaurd and they feel and look big idk why. what shoe would u recommend if im not looking for big chunky shoes? preciate ir ❤❤
Ja 1, Curry 11
For clarification, it's lighter with translucent outsole and heavier with solid rubber, or was it the upper materials that affect the weight? And how much does freshwater and akoya weigh?
The weight difference is due to materials, that leather upper made the Dragon Pearl colorway much heavier.
The tahitian/black pair has scratches after just 2 pickup games.. Did that happen to you as well?
So far nope… I just played some half-court pickups no full-court action yet, also that may depend on playing style too I think. I’ll update if any damage occurs!
Damn i just ordered the melon pair on sale today. I wish i watched this video first. Probably going to return them.
🤔
What about the freshwater colorway Tommy? is the black colorway still better
As mentioned I’m not too sure since that translucent outsole is slightly different too.
Wouldn’t be bad at all that’s for sure 😃
@@TommyLiu4 Thank you, kinda annoying that each colorway has different upper material
Would it be okay to mismatch the freshwater color way and the melon tint colorway?
I don’t think so cause they are different uppers, would feel kinda weird no?
Are this true to size ?
Should i go true to size for the Tahitian colorway? I wear true to size for the Two Wxy V3
Yes TTS
Are they okey to use in every day use or i better get smth else ?
As in like wear them as a casual shoe? Sure I don’t see why not.
@@TommyLiu4 i thought it would look weird if im not doing basketball and stuff but wearing them, but thx a lot for your unswer ! I appreciate it
@@dis_not_exist 🤛
@@TommyLiu4 🤜
Do they fit like the 20s length and width?
Compared to the ja 1, are they just as tight?
Yeah about the same, 20s are a tiny bit more snug for me. Not as tight as the Ja 1.
Compared to the wow 10 and liren 3 v2 , are 21s better? Can you rank them
Does the lebron tahitian version get dirty and hard to clean?
Yes.
Should i cop them for $99 or the giannis immortality’s for $50
99 is a great deal I’d cop
Can the rubber outsole play in outdoor court?
Not sure sorry
hi my feet is size 10. do I go for a size 10.5? Thanks!
Hi no stay true to size.
Is this EP version or us version?
North America release
How are the 21's outdoor
Not sure, never used mine outdoors.
Does lebron 21 have heel slippage like kd16?
Dragon Pearl a little bit, black pair and other colorways are fine.
Do you think these are better then the 20s?
5:53
is the translucent better for lebron 20 too?
NO
Just played in there today and I gotta say, I was not impressed at all in any aspect, maybe just the cushioning. They also run very small, I wear a 10.5 and they were smashing my big toe.
I see - which colorway did you get? If you don’t mind me asking.
@@TommyLiu4 I got the black pair, my feet are destroyed. Luckily Nike is taking my return
@@MarvFitBikesKicks Oh I see, my black pair does fit a little bit tighter than the patent leather one too. That’s good at least you could test it out and get your money back.
@@MarvFitBikesKicks ever heard of sizing up???
Are they good for wide feet
Average width, should be fine. If you have very wide feet you can go half size up.
Performance wise, great. However, after using it twice (tahitian black), already looks like a year old shoe. Dirt magnet and hard to clean. Returned the item already. Will wait for the kobe on the 15th tho.
Like these but love the lebron 30
🏆🏆
These are 100 bucks on Nike right now
Did you notice a difference of containment between the uppers of the two?
Yeah better containment from the suede upper on the black pair.
FINALLY
🫡
Waste of money going true to size based off your review, the width is not even the problem but the length is
Bruh, SIZE UP. It’s not that hard.
I didn't like the fit at all. Way to stiff with size 9.
I believe you should take your time in breaking them in. I was gonna cop and we have the same size but after reading this comment, I'm in doubt now lol
This shoe is heavier than 20s thats why i love 20s than 21
