Thé black colorway Tahiti or whatever are Better then the purple colorway … the material covering the whole shoe is softer and I felt the difference as soon as I put em on .. sold the purple rains wasn’t a fan of the hard out materail and I feel the 20/ are slightly larger so if you have a big toe problem the 20s feel slight roomier so idk I feel like I may stay with the 20 lifers but the 21 looks so clean looking

If you play in the 20’s you constantly need to tighten the laces to keep the lockdown. I found that really annoying. It’s not a matter of heel slip, but the knitting means the fit loosens.

As an owner of both 20s and the 21s, I would go with the 20s easily. I'd say 21 is a step down from 20s and I just freaking love playing with my 20s. The 20s perform way better on dusty courts and are much lighter. 20 for me!

I have 5 pairs of 20s but don't play any serious gMes with them because the heel slippage is very noticeable when playing hard defense definitely going to pick up the 21s

Your right about lebrons and sizing sometimes I buy online and don’t get to try them on and they are tight
I’ve been playing in the 20’s and got them tts, they’re definitely snug but I enjoy the feel. Would anyone still recommend going up a half size for the 21’s at the fact that they might be even tighter?
the 21’s are a HUGE disappointment. the box is annoying AF to open, the laces are ridiculously too thick & the overall style and colors are the worst i can remember. the 20’s are my son’s favorite of all time, he’s 10, in his words, “the 21’s are hella trash”. after he outgrows his 20’s we will unfortunately have to find a different line.
once he outgrows the 20s get the wow 10s from way of wade.
Get the LeBron nxxt gens. I love them and they are pretty much the same as the 20s! Or try the curry 10s they are super light with great traction
So 3 things that don't matter are annoying. Cool, performance wise they still as good as the 20s

Lebron 20s just because they're discounted everywhere but they're 95% the same. But bruh, that 5%, I've never tried a more anatomically better fitting shoe. Thr overall fit, support, traction are all confidence inspiring
I agree! But the 21s has just better comfort and lockdown, if you can afford the 21 go for it, if not staying with 20 is also a considerable option.

The 21 is the updated version of the 20. It has a more 1 to 1 fit… it’s the nxxt gen mixed with the 20… and the lockdown is better…those two eyelids are a game changer. If you noticed , Lebron had his 20s with two eyeslids up top… those fly wire lines going thru the shoes lock you down too … solid shoes overall

Imo the traction on the lebron 20 the debut which is a translucent and the lebron 21 akoya are similar since they are both translucent, but solid rubber are just better
The 21s! But it takes time and different colorways.
1. Denim LeBron 21 $100 on Nike and the color is dope, the gum sole is GRIPPIN
2. The LeBron Green/grey he wore for his record breaking game 50k points! Great translucent outsole, great cushion.
Cushion and grip on both 20s and 21 are good no question. Love that lebron's always go on clearance for $100 or so
You aren’t lying about how snug the 21’s are. I got the Dragon Pearls true to size and my foot was going numb when I first wore them on the court.
Lebron 20 for outdoors are great, in terms of traction, but used mine for a few months and they're done, what do you think is the best next shoes for outdoors? Do i stick to buying another 20's or buy 21 this time? All outdoor use
20s are way more durable, the 21s are okay but if you play rough then they will get beat up quick. So 20s if you play rough and outdoors a lot. 21 if you play relaxed and outdoors
Hands down 21 better in every aspect imo
i got the 21s for 159. Personally i like that the 21 is less stiff because i play vball. Both have similar performance, get the 21s if you want better lockdown and comfort. Get the 20s if you want a lighter shoe and slightly better traction 👍

imo go with a US 10 if that's your true size. If you have the opportunity to try on a pair go for it, but when I bought the son of flash I went up half a size and it was too big for me.

@@anthonywarry that’s good to know because I have it as a watch item on eBay. It’s crazy how material can mess up the whole shoe. I have the white/pink Luka 1s that are stiff as a doorknob but the black ones are perfect

Today played first time in 21s and its the best shoe I ever played in. Worth to mention I never had 20s so can't compare. Also about the size went with true to size and it's spot on. So yeah love 21s If you need new shoes don't look any further.

20s lace system is wack, the tongue digs in slides to the side causing the eyelet to rub on the ankle and loose in the heel, 21s fixed that and the chunky lace doesn't loosen like many thought it would. 22's should try to take the best of both and youd have the best basketball shoe ever
To summarize
Traction - 20 because dust performance is better
Cushion - 21 because heel cushion is stable
Materials - same. 21 is little bit good in quality tho
Fit - same. Both snug
Support - 21 because of heel lockdown.

@@usieff4866 Nah, I think the 18’s were the last ones that didn’t look totally goofy. 12’s are my all time favorite. But people seem to always hate the new ones until they grow on them. These just look boring and low budget.
