I ended up with 4 pairs of the 20s just because it's so comfortable & a great shoe to wear casually. I'm a bit upset they swapped the bottom loaded carbon fiber shank for a top loaded plastic shank but glad they kept the cushioning set-up of bottom loaded max heel zoom & top loaded zoom turbo.
@@Aristophocles Bottom loaded shanks, such as the Jordan 11 / WOW 10 / Lebron 20 not only add torsional stabilization but a spring like affect when sprinting. You get greater energy return and aided spring in acceleration.
Very much reminiscent of the 2010s era of Nike hyperdunks, design team did an awesome job of a retro feel with modern era tech. Haven’t been interested in lebrons since the 16s. These are interesting!

It has the chunky round abouts the hyper dunk has, the lateral outrigger also is chunky and filled with rubber. You don’t see a lot of shoes going this route but instead more roundness to them IE: Jordan 38, Melo, Kyrie, the list goes on. And your vision is completely different from mine, does the world revolve around you? No, you literally could’ve just said “oh wow, this is a new perspective I didn’t think about, interesting.” But here you are, acting all high and mighty lmao. Cool to see the Lebron 21 with 2 lace loops the Lebron 20 only had 1. When Lebron wore the Lebron 20s last year, he was actually wearing a player exclusive, where his had 2 lace loops

Basically the time period where the shoe insoles and foam gets to adapt to your foot shape, serving you more better (Break in periods will determine how often you use your sneakers)
I’m not in love with this color way but I like the overall silhouette. I’m sure Nike will make a bunch of cool color ways for this shoe, but my 20’s are still holding on strong. I’ll probably pick up a pair in the future. Great video Zach!

I 100% knew Lebron couldn't do low cuts😊😊 ridiculous playing basketball in low cuts. Regular folks don't realize NBA players are taped up major' when they play in low cuts. But that mid height is perfect. That's the height I personally like for basketball shoes. But hopefully Nike didn't narrow the mid section again. Just a disaster trying to online guess width of Nike shoes.. for wide 2E feet... before a store visit. I mainly order online before a store visit basing size on prior size of my shoes... but lately Nike has been cut small

Great Review! I like how to quantize the shoes performance in number. But if it is possible, could you make a comparison of the performance between the main shoe and some benchmark shoes? For example, when talking about the heel height and jumping height test, you can make a colorbar and identify the numbers from the LeBron 21, gt cut, gt jump, and KD 15, which are usually under consideration simultaneously by the same style of players. Personally speaking, such a comparison would make the performance number clearer, and is helpful for the audience to make decisions to the shoes.

I bought size 12 and 12.5. I have regular feet and i usually wear size 12. The size 12 is so narrow at the forefoot (they look like womens high heels) that my big toe hits the side of forefoot. The 12.5 feels better but then is too long and might cause heel slippage. I don't get why they make all new Nikes pointy at the toe. Freaks, Jas, GT Cuts, GT runs and KDs, all of them are pointy and you can't seperate which shoe is the right and which is the left. I don't get it. The big toe should reach close to the edge but these curvy shape forefoots make you hit the side and leave space at the tip of the shoe. The only good fit i have tried lately are Lukas and Jordan 38. Has anyone faced the same issue?
Idk if it’s just me but my feet were sweaty playing in the 21s. My feet never sweated in the 20s and even the 19s. I have pairs of his shoes from 15s-21. From the 15s-20s from my experience my feet never sweated or got sweaty hooping until I started wearing the 21s not sure why. And I’ll say the most breathable ones for me personally were the 15s 17s and 19s. I’ve bought two pairs of the 21s they are very comfortable, good traction and durable. But my only issue is the shoe not being breathable as the previous ones. My feet and socks were sweaty playing in the 21s but I still continue to play in them because the shoe is addicting I can’t stop wearing them even though I really don’t like how my feet sweats in them.
I wear true 12 in size in retro Jordans Lebrons etc. i have noticed that new shoes are so tapered on the forefoot. I just got the 21s in 12 and 12.5. The 12 was too tight in the forefoot and my big toe was touching the forefoot’s side. Then 12.5 feels better in the forefoot but then is too long causing heel slippage or toe drag while stopping. I had the same issue with all the later KDs, JAs and Freaks. I am not even a wide footer. Is there any shoe with more rounded toe nowdays except the Jordan 38s? I cant find a non tapered forefoot anymore. Doesnt make sense since the big toe always protrudes and end up being suffocating. Tapered toes are not following the normal shape of the average foot. I end up playing only in retroes like Lebron 2, Kobe 1, Kobe 4.
I have the puma all pro nitro and I’m a true size 12.5 but I had to get them in a 13 they were a bit too big so I tried the power step pinnacle orthotic in them and it made the shoe wearable but there was still heal slip, You could try that or the move game day pro possibly as I’ve heard it is Lower profile in the shoe Though I have no idea if that will work.

Nike’s Lebron designs have gone totally downhill since Lebron 20. The shoe looks so ugly and unimpressive. Also, I don’t get why they switched to low tops instead of making that just a secondary available model of the same shoe. Oh well. I don’t think I’m buying them. Older Lebrons had way more technologies and were way cooler. Also, I thought Lebron James was a bigger fan of Air Max in the heel. Did he not live up to his words and old challenge of Nike to merge Air Max and Zoom Air anymore?! Weird. I don’t like the new Lebrons at all. Nike’s new Air Jordan 38 is equally unimpressive. I don’t know what’s happening at Nike. They must have hired lame boring people or something.
I just returned a pair of the LeBron 21 "Tahitian's" super cool looking shoes. Beware the steal eyelets at the top of the shoe gave me bad blisters on the inside of my ankles. Please try them on first to make sure. My friend also bough a pair and had the same complaint. He said it took about 5 runs to break in. I'm to old for that. Recommend the Curry 24 Splash Jam or the Puma Scoot Pro Nitro. Super comfy. You can just put these on and ball with no break in required. Those are my type of shoe !
Love these can’t wait till I get my hands on a pair, I just hope they do the colorways justice. Because they started Great with the 20 but got lazy and focused on the nxxt gen which I hated. But these last 20 models are a huge step in right direction after the atrocious 19

Why do you test the outsole durability on the back? There are some shoes with completely different material and tread pattern between the front and the rear. Please just test it where the most wear happens, the ball area. I know this shoes have the same pattern but still.
The kd 16s in the front bounce height got 45.5 cm and these 21s got 45.0 the heel bounce height doesnt matter to me she shock absorption matters in the heel which is bouncier??

I bought Lebron 21 "Algae" colorway for my son and I found it so comfy, both uppers and cushion. You can't go wrong to Cushlon midsole

Why do you test the outsole durability on the back?
There are some shoes with completely different material and tread pattern between the front and the rear. Please just test it where the most wear happens, the ball area.

The kd 16s in the front bounce height got 45.5 cm and these 21s got 45.0 the heel bounce height doesnt matter to me she shock absorption matters in the heel which is bouncier??
