Fantastic! I would’ve been there if it were in Abilene, TX!😂 I enjoyed seeing what others are doing. I lucked out buying a 2023 Cyber Orange XLT with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine. It came with Pilot 360, sprayed in bed liner, Black Appearance Package, side rail in the bed, trailer hitch, keyless entry, and AWD! It had 666 miles when I signed so I have bought an EcoBeast badge for it. 😁 So far I’m very happy with it and enjoy driving it and in fact look for excuses to drive it. I’ve added seat covers for the front seats, glass protector for the screen, tailgate dampener, hood struts and at some point will get a bed cover. I also got weather tech floor mats for the front. We were the first people to get a maverick in our town… we love ours .. every time we pull into Home Depot or Walmart we get stopped and asked what kind of truck is that… we let them sit in it .. let them start the engine.. we give them all the highlights.. now I think there is 4 other mavericks in our town now… if I lived closer to you I would be at your maverick meet up in a flat second man.. love your channel love what you do so keep doing it..
I love the new Maverick, I just sold my 1971 Maverick Grabber that I owned for 17 years. It would be cool to see the new Maverick come in all the Grabber colors...
My dad had one of those older Mavericks. I got to drive it and had a V-8 and half the body was missing from Rust so it was light 😂. It was a lot of fun to drive. Anyways I’ve waiting for my new Maverick to come in, hopefully in the next few months
Great video of the Maverick meet up. I like the way Ryan setup his truck for work and I like the other trucks mentioned in the video as well. These trucks are extremely valuable in my opinion since these can be used for small businesses in a variety of ways as well as just for commuting as a daily driver. I'm still waiting on mine, but I did receive a build date from my dealership a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping that I receive my truck by Thanksgiving.
November 8th for mine🤞. I drove my 1 ton ford e350 across town today to buy a can of primer at work. I do renovations. The maverick is really the ultimate renovation machine. I can park the 1 ton for 90% of the time. So stoked to get er. Did you name your maverick?

I got my self an XLT, FX4 with towing package. I have all weather floor mats for it and ordered bed cover and all weather liner, also ordered the hood struts, trailer hitch mount and center console organizer. I’m looking to get the FX4 sticker replaced with a blacked out version and add the spray liner. Once the new Tremor comes out I’m considering exchanging suspensions with what ever that brings. I’ve taken my little guy through dirt, sand and gravel roads and it has responded perfectly but when the tire change comes I’ll be adding some better tires.
I watch your videos all the time you post. A couple of weeks ago, my dealership in Salina, Kansas (Long McArthur Ford) had their own Maverick meetup. I live in Maine and ordered mine through them in July 7, 2021. Mine is being built as I write this. They say my Maverick will deliver to the dealership sometime in Late October, early November. I plan to take the Amtrak Train to go out from Maine to Kansas to get my new Maverick. If your November Meetup happens to coincide, I wonder if it would be about the same time of your meetup and If so, I’d like to drop by on my way back to Maine.
Pretty awesome to have a meet up of Mavericks, not your normal "car show". This is a great way to meet others and swap ideas on modifications or tips. When I first saw the Maverick I was a bit skeptical, but its grown on me. I haven't owned a truck in 10 years and have grown use to not really needing one, but lately I have had the "itch" to get another. These new mini-trucks are the perfect solution in my opinion for that person who might need one just for a small project. The added bonus is the fuel mileage and in today's economy that's important.

I just placed an order for an XLT LUX with 4K package / Moonroof / cactus grey eco boost but I’m thinking about switching to the Area 51 color Do you think it’s a little less common than the cactus grey?
@@rafaelgarcia9394 Not in my area. Mostly all I see is Area 51 Mavericks and on the Broncos too. That's why I ordered Carb Grey otherwise I like Area 51 if everybody else didn't have it too.

Just received a offer from Ford to change my 11/14/2021 order date to a 2023 model and I’m OK with it. Love the cactus grey of your new friends truck, that’s what I ordered and reassures I made the right choice.
gotta love a meet up, while the Maverick isn't for me, it's nice to see what others do with their rig.... personally I like the larger trucks, but larger trucks don't work everywhere..... sometimes you need a compact truck or as I would call it a Ute for doing truck things in smaller areas
You got your Hybrid Mav Lux in a relatively short period of time. I see you added the black letters. Mine had been on order since last November 6th. I’ve seen very few Mavericks on the road.
I was fortunate with the timing. I had a deer strike my previous car, and later that day I found out I was scheduled for production. I really do like the letters; got them from a vendor on Esty. I also forgot to mention the hood deflector as well.
I really like the enhancements you did to personalize your Maverick. My order was resubmitted today for a MY 23. My guess is I won’t see it until late winter early spring timeframe.
I received an email from Ford the same day mine was ordered on 9/16. If Martin's dealer did not COVP his order, Ford will treat it as a dealer inventory order, and it won't get built before all customer orders have been fulfilled.

Great work! I love the engine cover! Please, if you can get the OEM part number I'm sure many Mav owners would appreciate it. The one shown in your video appears to have a reverse hole pattern layout of the one shown in Fords parts list (K2GZ-6A949-A).
I can't seem to find my receipt, but I believe the parts I ordered for the hybrid engine cover was LX6Z-6A949-B (Cover), -W714647-S450B (Engine Cover Stud), -W520201-S437 (Lift-Gate Finish Panel Nut), and AA5Z-6N958-A (Engine Cover Stud).

Don't think I'd do a meet. It's not like my Maverick is anything special. Edit I also wouldn't put a cover on an engine that they have cooling problems.
@@cs92lx ok no not every Maverick is special lol it's a ute and while I think mine is cool it's not special, I would say a 1971 SS Chevelle 454 or a 1988 300zx are special. Also ford is having problems with cooling and vapors in the 2.5 hybrid, how is putting a plastic cover not going to cause more problems. You know they are cutting holes in the under try for ventilation? So sticking a plastic cover on top is probably not a great idea.
@@richardparnell8402 An external plastic cover sitting on top of the outside of an engine has nothing to do with cooling. All the air flow needed to cool the Maverick comes through the radiator area and underneath ventilation. Special is a matter of interpretation by the person. My wife thinks her Ford Escape is special. And my daughter thinks her Hyundai Elantra is special.
Enjoyed the interviews. What was Martin saying about the sliding window? With that open and the sunroof you get a good breeze? I am trying to figure out if I need that sliding window. I’m not planning on getting the sunroof.
No dealer anywhere should add any "additional dealer profit" if you order it. They'll make plenty when they lowball your trade, add dealer installed options, sell you a warranty, tire and wheel protection, add points to your loan. If you buy one from their inventory, they may try for up to $20,000 ADP. Best suggestion if that happens and you have a vehicle that runs, drive to a dealer that wants to deal and not steal.
@@cs92lx My reasons for buying my XL hybrid was original cost and milage. It reminds me of the ads for kids back in the day. "Be the first on your block to have..." If dealers price something high enough there'll be a sucker who'll pay, as they want what they can't have--now! Problem is the dealer will loose many potential customers for life. I don't know how they're financing for thousands over value. Maybe the buyers have unlimited funds. If that's the case though, why buy a Maverick?

I think the Maverick is the “Mustang” of our current time! I also added a Napa leather steering wheel slip on cover. Really adds grip for steering.
One last thing I put on my Maverick is 3D lettering on the tailgate in black! Looks great against the Cyber Orange!
After ordering mine on July 29 2021 I received it on July 8 2022 I got the Hybrid Lariat Carbonized Grey so far really like the small truck.
Hybrid orders have really been delayed. I wonder if they can get caught up eventually?

I have a great Self Leveling system that works great on my Cruzer. Mine came with a Great rolling Aluminum cover that came with the Truck
I also have the hybrid lariat. Would really be interested in that escape engine cover.
Consider just taking the resonator off the adding your nice tail pipes and tips.

Yes he said it has kind of a flow through effect when coming in through the roof and going out to the back.
