Late in the 9th: 1987 Ford Thunderbird Tour and Drive

A very clean, late in the run, 9th gen Ford Thunderbird with 88k original miles. We walk around this one owner California car as it's prepped for sale. These were almost never preserved in this spec, so finding one today in this condition is a treat! Check out the auction as we go here:

I just picked one up for $3000. It is mint with 65,000 miles v6. Everything works on the one I bought except the driver side mirror.

The auto dimmer was high tech automatic high beams which is why the high beam indicator wasn't working right at first because it's on more often. High beams auto default on and dim automatically.

$2700 over on Hemmings, thought it would bring more, but not too surprised as it's a car that's pretty unloved.

@@ThePhotographersGarage Hey thanks for the reply I do appreciate it! Yes sir I would have guessed a bit more around the 4-5K range at very least. Take that car and throw a nice 302 in it and you have a fun, smooth riding vehicle.
