The only survivors that you see are V8's and garage kept Turbo Coupes. I want to love these cars, but my first car was an '84 T-Bird with the Essex V6. It was a heap of crap! Blown head gaskets, and living in the desert, you kind of want the A/C to work...Ford didn't make the AC easy, they chose a modified compressor from rooftop stationary AC units, the HR-980. I went through three compressors in the car before giving up. Fortunately, living close to Mexico had its benefits, like being able to recharge the system with Freon for $20 😅 The power windows were garbage in the car: tracks, motors, lift mechanism, too much plastic to go bad, and it wasn't engineered for 100° days. The '93 that I drove two cars later was engineered much better
