    This is a fabulous spot for a sunset as well :) We camped here before. It is awesome. There were good suggestions. We were there in October. Combined Cedar Falls, Boy Scout, and wound up at Bear Caves. Cool place to visit for sure.

    That massive cloud formation behind you causes one concern of tornadoes. I’d be seeking shelter in that huge cave especially with lightening striking all around and increased cooler winds.🌪

    The trail to the waterfall is of course harder going up than down. A bit long too. They used to have horse back riding there also not sure if they still do. A heads up, if you hate spiders you might not want to walk the trail to the fall because there’s hundreds of daddy long legs all huddled together on the big rocks.

    I did the Ranger led walk at Bear Cave and recommend. Right by the cave he showed how you can yell out echo and it will bounce back. I missed the second cave. I also did seven hollow trails and it definitely was harder as it got warmer

    Surprised you did not take any kind of survival gear at all....like water, maybe some kind of food, phone...as people watching you might go off trail and get lost. and no way of calling for help, etc... hot day and no water...etc... just a suggestion...thanks... 👍👍

    • @johnnywhild
      @johnnywhild  Рік тому +1

      @@johnnywhild Thats good....just worried that a new person on trail might forget to bring the items needed like water, etc. and might go off trail , etc..........
