  • In this video I meet up with Dome Life at the Caddo river in Arkansas and I kayak camp for the very first time! Cody and I fish and catch endless fish such as smallmouth bass, brim, stripped bass, and I catch a crappie! We have a hoot of a time swimming and playing in the water and by the end I am sun burned.

You are all such good people. That's the biggest value of your videos for me, apart from joining in with the adventures. It's important for others to see the world has good people in it, which is comforting and consoling in our strange times. Thank you!

Going on an adventure in the wild is the greatest thing! You set an expectation make a plan, that's about the best you can do. Sometimes it gets rocky, those times will be the prelude that will make the most memories for you. These are places you cannot see from the car. It can be hard work, but that's what got you there. It will be worth a belly laugh later, some mistakes, determination and all of the things that make a great adventure. I'm loving your videos!

Kayaking backwaters is very peaceful. One of my most enjoyable times was kayaking alone. It was a time of day when no one else was on the water. I came upon an egret sitting in a tree. As I came up even with him (her?), he would launch from the tree, fly in front ahead of my kayak and claim another tree as his roost. As I caught up with him, he flew off again, to meet me and repeat his game of leap frog. It was a pleasure leap frogging with him along the water. Finally he tired of the game and left me to quietly enjoy the rest of my paddle.

Jonathan, this was my first time watching your channel and I loved it! Well done! You are an excellent speaker. The part of the video I really enjoyed was of you all floating down the rapids. I loved the Salt River near Pphoenix, Arizona, where we tied a dozen or so inner tube together. Two were dedicated to a coolers. So much fun. Great video, Jonathan, and you acquired a new subscriber. Good luck...you're gonna grow big!

What kind of snake was that on the rock? Was it a water moccasin? As you paddled close to the banks and under the trees, I recalled a canoe trip on the New River in western NC about 20 years ago. Paddling under trees, my friend and I were afraid a snake would fall into our canoe from a tree branch. Instead, a big fish jumped into our canoe, just about causing me a heart attack! Glad you all had a good time.
