Ahh Amanda you made my day with your lovely comment. Well, we are not next door neighbors but we can still use FB video , Skype to sew patterns together if you like. I will go on your tube and send you my information. I do sew with other far away friends and family thru video. I have about two more Regency Empire dresses to make; an Evening dress and Day dress and that should make my wardrobe complete. I adore making them because they are the easiest historical era to sew than the Colonial and Victorian . I did make my 1860 skirt but had my blouse an original FF 1880's made in England by a Dressmaker friend. That was too over my head. Happy New Year and 12th Night,

A bedsheets are the best fabrics. The bodice is tricky indeed. Is it a Regency gown? Or what type of item you it is?

Thanks very much and it's an easy sew. The Regency petticoat keeps my posture upright and comfortable. I adore The Regency Era.
