"...and if that means wearing this on a random Wednesday, I will do it." This is also why I'm a fan, Viv. There's no question as to your happy-dog-walking-fashionista attitude. It's healthy. And your makes are always a witness to your talents and taste. BRAVO, Viv.
Viv, you just get cuter and cuter ! Your openness and engaging stories are precious . I loved all your makes, and especially your wild 60s cotton dress. How you got that on without a zipper is beyond me !! Thanks for the smiles and great ideas!!
Thanks for posting your beautiful February makes! It is a bright spot to see such lovely fabrics during this bleak time of year. I ❤ how the 60s dress came out with the fun fabrics. So creative and perfect for the time period! Thanks for all of the inspiration you provide. It's a treat to watch your videos!
I love the dress you made with the 2 wild, colorful prints! It is adorable! I think many folks have difficulty with fabric combinations. Anyway, it turned out great. I love to see what you make. You’re so dang productive!
I love the hacking pattern outfit, very fancy. And the following dress is the best. The wrap top is stylish and my favorite. Your cotton quilting dress is fun. I imagined you enjoying and having fun with your sewing
Oh I absolutely love your vlogs! You make beautiful garments in gorgeous fabrics and you explain what you do in such a fun and refreshing way. You always makes me smile. Another successful month. I’m ’hanging on’ for the next one. 🤣🤣
I want to thank you for inspiring me to sew for MYSELF! I loved sewing as a hs student but the last apparel project I sewed was a maternity jumper in 1981. You have given me the thought to if this doesn’t turn out and I won’t wear it, then donate. Thank you 😊
For that water or ? In your ear….try this!…decades ago when my beautiful Mom was alive, she had all sorts of unique curing methods for a host of problems. For your ear, find someone who smokes cigarettes, yes cigarettes. Have them light one up then place the filtered cigarette in your ear and pretend your ear is smoking. Leave it in for a minutes or 2. Then do that just 1 more time. See if that cures your problem! Can’t hurt to try! I enjoy your channel ❤
So happy that we got another Vivmom sews video to enjoy! I love your makes and totally get your 60s dress! Adorable!!! Those were the days! My sister was all in her glory with those darling fashions! I was a 70s fashionista (and still am). I adore your videos! You give me such inspo to get back in that sewing room! I sew like crazy but don't always document stuff! These makes are great! I agree.. I wear my clothes I make! And enjoy them so much!
You had to be a hippie or child of hippies. You give such a free flower power kind of vibe. Love your makes 😊. I actually love that last new look top. Talk about classy n stylish. I have patience..this I know as I am using a pattern in German without pictures. Just so you know, EVERYTHING doesn't Google translate. 😅 enjoy Ms. Zinnia, and have a great month of sewing.
Thanks Viv for the fashion show! You make me laugh out loud, smile and inspire. I was all prepared to not like your quilting fabric dress but it is so cute! I mean that sincerely. Have fun at the dog park!
Love your videos! Have you tried holding a warm blowing hair dryer to your ear and trying to dry some of the water out of it? Love that you like to make dresses and they look great on you!!
I love that kwik sew top with the point. I love your videos and I love you and all your little things that you might think are odd. They make you human and real and I love that about you. These finished makes videos are amazing ❤❤
The dress with the sunrise print was absolutely beautiful. I can never find a nice large print knit fabric like that. I really like the overlay top, but don't know if I'll try it after your review. I am impressed by the last dress. Didn't think you could make something wearable from it when you showed us the fabric last time.
You are so cute! I look so forward to your video! That mod dress was adorable. I am having a heck of a time getting things to fit lately. Always so big and I go from the finished garment measurements. The Know Me patterns are crazy!
It’s called tinnitus when you have noises in your ear. You need something to dry it out it’s not actually water but fluid and you need something like a decongestant ask your doctor for something to use. I’m 75 and I have had to cut back on dressmaking because I don’t really go out much and I am running out of space. I cannot bear to throw anything away so I hang on to things with excuse I’ll slim into this. I’m determined to give to charity some of the thing I have seen that I am not at least 90% happy with and some days that feels like always. Great items especially the pants I have a large waist and slim legs so I have trouble with trousers but I am going to have a go at a couple of your patterns. ❤
You are so groovy cool! 😎 Love the 60's dress! And the rest... February was a very busy month. Thanks for sharing ☺️!! Can't wait to see what you make next! 💐🌹🌄💕🌻
Thanks for your fun video and beautiful makes. I am also a fan of old Kwik sew patterns. They fit well and instructions are clear. I am looking forward to spring sewing and I hope your ear issue gets resolved soon.

I had the same ear issue. Turned out to be water trapped behind a wax plug. Once they got that wax out, I was good to go. Definitely get to your doctor!! Love your Feb makes!!
All of your makes are beautiful, The dress with the two different blues and pops of orange, is just perfect on you. You are so nice and slim, me not at all, I have to.lose weight, lots of weight.

You are hilarious and oh, so inspirational! I’m retiring from work this year and plan to do just what you suggest, to start sewing, but I’ll be sewing quilts.
Loved seeing every one of your makes. Inspired me to pull out my Butterick 6865 pattern and get started on it. I’m in love with the crepe poly you used for the overlay top you’re not crazy about. Where did you get it ? I always hope for a sneak peak of your beautiful dog
Hi Kathy, thanks so much for writing. The poly crepe for my overlay blouse came from Fabric Mart. Long since sold out, but they get in beautiful crepes. Check back often because eventually everything goes on sale.
Hi Viv, I loved all your makes today. I went to ENT with the same as I had fluid behind my eardrum. I was prescribed believe it or not a nasal spray and was given an Otovent which is a balloon that you blow up with your nose. It’s to relieve the pressure and it worked x x
Adore your ITY dress on you, #2 item! I have to say Viv, I just love your personality, you are so cute and funny! The charming part of it all you aren't trying to be funny, it comes naturally for you ❤ Really do like the top 6625 on you. Sock it to me 60's dress! So cute on you! You are a Hip woman now 😊 Look out Dog Park 😂
I came across a video from a health person that puts out different informative videos about how to help people with their health problems. You said that you have been having a problem with moisture and water in your ears. This channel has a video that might be able to help you. You will have to scroll through them. The name of the channel is Natural Health Resources. 🤗
How is the water in your ear now? Did you try laying on a heating pad on low? As kids when we got water in our ear at the pool, we would lay on the concrete with that ear down I always love your videos and sews
Aw thanks Katherine! You’re very thoughtful. I still have it in my ear - it’s like I can feel it sort of sloshing around in there and I can’t get to it. I’ll try the heating pad solution - thanks!
"...and if that means wearing this on a random Wednesday, I will do it." This is also why I'm a fan, Viv. There's no question as to your happy-dog-walking-fashionista attitude. It's healthy. And your makes are always a witness to your talents and taste. BRAVO, Viv.

Hi Kathy, thanks so much for writing. The poly crepe for my overlay blouse came from Fabric Mart. Long since sold out, but they get in beautiful crepes. Check back often because eventually everything goes on sale.
Some beautiful pieces. I went thrifting on Tuesday and got an awesome late 80's dress that I am excited to sew up.
So happy to see you you are a great seamstress I wish I had your talent thanks for sharing
