Is the wood treated? I read that treated wood is not healthy to use for the birds. Good design and video. Thank you.

Nice job Brian. My first home had porch posts with an exposed top under the eaves...The doves used to nest up there...lol...Keep us posted on whether they use them. Keep the videos coming. : )....

Some doves used after I built it, and then a cat got them. I need to move it higher

The roof isn't "crooked", it's "sloped"! Even better for rain drainage! 🙂

You don't, just like a regular nest. Dove are terrible parents, they make lousy nest and knock the eggs out most of the time themselves.
