If you are still struggling to feed your Aussie by hand check out this video here. I break down in detail how I got mine to do so. ua-cam.com/video/eTIEKKl2a00/v-deo.html
I use snuffle mats and puzzle toys - intermediate to advanced - as I have a tireless 9 yr old working line Aussie. Aaand it slows him down when he eats! Winston is growing up fast!
Great tips! We started doing the feeding while training trick with Maui and it’s doing wonders for his training. I wonder for those feeding raw food diets… any thoughts on how they could incorporate some of these tips into their training?
Amazing! It's funny that you bring this up because now that Winston's at his max weight, I am considering feeding him raw and most likely will make the switch. It's definitely going to be messy, so I'll wear a glove but for the most part, you can still do the same things with raw (luring, commands, trick, etc). Maybe not throwing food on the ground 😅 but If you do want to work on scent work I'd suggest getting freeze dried raw! Hope this helps 😁
Stella and Chewy's red meat recipe (there are other flavors as well). What's great about it is that there are freeze dried raw chunks mixed in with the kibble and the kibble itself is also coated in freeze dried raw.

First video I see with a full tail aussie! I was curious about what it looked like
They have beautiful tails! It's like a swiffer duster lol
Thanks. I have a 3 moth old mini Aussie. Just got it. Learning the ropes.

lol my yorkie has it easy. He knows the basic tricks but just playing tug of war with him for 5 minutes, he's already exhausted.😂
😂😂
What kibble do you guys give winston?
I want to know this too. Mine likes lamb and beef based. Food out of hand is good advice. Will work on it.
